Hi, I use a white acrylic multi surface paint, I have used chalk paint before but my preference is the acrylic multi surface paint. 😁

Nice work. Though how do you prevent hot cups to stick on the coaster?

Hi, normally they are fine. Sometimes if the liquid has spilled on to the coaster then it can happen then, but I just use a damp cloth to wipe them clean or polish. Hope this helps. 😁

What does the varnish do that the mod podge dont

You can just use the modge podge, I just like the extra protection with the varnish. It's up to you what you prefer to use. 😁

Where you get the tile from?

Hi I get the tiles from most places. You need to look in the coaster and placemat section of the stores. Hope this helps. 😁
