- A customer brought in their Husqvarna with a 33 cubic inch Briggs and Stratton single cylinder motor. The customer said that the battery would not charge and had to replace a new battery after a month. In this video, I go step by step on how I found out what was wrong and how I fixed it.
Nice video Mark. Based on your recommendation I’m going to go ahead and look for a harmonic balancer puller. Thanks again!
How about the voltage regulator?
I APPRECIATE it 👍
looking at my husqvarna to see were things were for future reference and could not find the regulator. now i see it is just a diode wrapped up around the wire. Seen my fuse back by solenoid wrap around the wire and a wire tie keeping in place. Cheap weird factory set up.
Great video that reminded me i need a impact wrench and a ratchet wrench 3/8 for my engine cover. Gas tank gets in the way of back two bolts.
great video, definitely gonna buy myself some more tools .
Go for it!
Hi Mark, my 18,5 hp briggs is over charging, I do not see a voltage regulator on this Husqvarna mower. Any ideas?
on your meter how many volts are going through, and is your battery fully charged
Great video! To the point and very helpful. Plus he has good fingernails.
Glad it was helpful!
Mark I've been watching your videos for about a year now. I just watched the one about how you got started working on motors and making videos. It looks like you paid the price to learn. LOL. I scanned through the ones I had not watched yet but I don't see one about changing the gear on a starter for a mower. If you have time I would love to see one. Merry Christmas and please keep the videos coming.
I have seen a video from “Taryl fixes all” that shows how to repair a starter gear. It’s very good. But i agree with you that a video from Mark would be great to see.
Great video Mark. You have some years under your belt.
almost 40 years
Simply, short and to the point. Good job.
