Listened to this on shrooms, and it was an absolute experience ❤️
I was hiding under my blanket, dude you gotta listen to the WORDS!
it was a terrible experience indeed, full of ads
@@sprinkles-hour9719Dude! The MUSIC in those adds were especially terrible..😅
Listened to this on chocolate and caffeine, and it was delightful!
23:14 Lenny Kaye said it best: "Their music touches on ground that most other groups don't even know exists."
27:40 The start of another sweet jam.
21:30 to 24:18 is just pure bliss... completely obsessed with this jam
Great comment! This piece of music is absolutely mesmerizing.
They're all great, but yeah that clip was particularly interesting and fun!
I love when this jam featured in between China/Rider in 73 & 74
We always called the jam between China Cat and Rider the 'Tico Tico' jam. Most were from the '72-'74 era. These particular instances of that same jam seem a bit spacier and don't feel like they're coming out of China Cat, but I may be wrong.
They are embracing life in such a positive way that I am totally flabbergasted.
0:08:15 This one is so joyful and honest. Wow!!! It sounds like friends having a great time on a summer day at a lake in the middle of nature. Jumping into the lake while laughing and giggling! It's like a friendship glowing in sunshine. Incredible! Heart touching!
0:14:58 So beautiful, kind and sweet that I had to cry. It's so human, warm and friendly it makes my heart jump! Makes you thankful to be alive.
0:33:43 Mindblowing stuff. The way how Jerry plays... Like a shining star. Later the whole band joins into vibe and groove: Pure Magic!!
0:38:36 It's like sweet honey that is dropping out of their instruments.
I love your imagery - thanks for sharing!

This is mind-blowing
i feel like i don't fit into their typical fanbase since i'm quite young and not really familiar with the band but this music is so special, so hippie i love it
music is for everyone, don't worry about how well you fit into a mold. if you have ears, this music is for you.
@@justinelrod9950 thanks, I agree ✌️
I’m 23 and feel exactly like you i just love grateful dead
@@magiceyes530 glad to hear someone relates hahah, I'm 18 btw :)
its a period of time i greatly wish we didn't miss out on, i'm 21 and i think our generation really needs something like this. so much hate and negativity!
Thanks…this has some of the most amazing China cat jams…my absolute favorites….I’ve thought about putting a play list of just that particular jam, ya know the one where the drums pick the rhythm up and they throw each other around…I can’t tell ya how many times, I find that jam and just repeat it over and over….helpin me through my blues for sure…getting high doesn’t cut it anymore, this is the next best thing. Thanks again….
I'm glad it works for you! I can't get enough of that jam either
Transferred in the universe while listening to, remained astoned divinely!!!
glad you enjoyed!
Insane jams. wow!!
Capt. Trips rides again. Thank you sir, it was an honor to be on the planet at the same time as you. They're still trying to emulate you lol.
Thanks for listening!

I did not even know it existed, and 59th St. bridge happens to be one of my favorite Simon and Garfunkel songs. Listening to this jam.right now I’m feeling so tripped out and so happy and loving it,I just cannot believe it, it’s so magnificent. Jerry is so so incredibly magical. I just don’t have the adjectives to describe the feeling I’m getting from this jam. I hope everybody who loved Jerry can log into this jam and listen to it for themselves because they would also be teleported to heaven just like I was while listening to this particular jam today…….. I still miss Jerry 😢 so much. It’s unbelievable to me that I still think of him and how he changed my life in so many positive ways,,,,,,,,,,,it still brings tears to my eyes that he’s not among us. I just hope if there is an after life we will be reunited again; that would make me the happiest person in heaven. 🎼🌈☮️☯️🙂💜❤🎼☯️💚🍄🍄🍄🌹🪐🌈🔥🌙💥 💙💜💚🖤🩵💛❤️🧡🩷☮️💚☮️🩷💙💜💚❤️☮️🎼☯️🌹

I'm glad you found it! Not as many are finding this different arrangement with a couple extra versions (and clouds) ruclips.net/video/os12uzc5F9s/видео.html
A True menu of delicious Appetizers right here. One Love 💟
I'm glad you enjoy!
perfect. a bit tricky to explain, but this perfectly fills that cheerful, something I can play that lets others feel natural while I quietly celebrate the grateful dead. !. Thanks, they'll never know
and feel like they do. it will be everyone's secret. we'll all know, whether or not anyone happens to mention it. just perfect.
Thanks! I was thinking something similar about this one: ruclips.net/video/MP_zOEvnZXw/видео.html
I do that all the time...play some Dead until my companion asks 'who is this?'...and they always do ask....Then I get to flash a BIG grin and say ""Grateful Dead, it's pretty good shit huh?""
mind left body

Thank you so much for the work you do
it's my pleasure!
You have no idea lol. Long story short while driving maybe 30 yrs ago. Heard a grateful dead jam that was unbelievable it lasted 40 miles. Didn't know name been hoping I heard it again. It just might be that lost song of mine. Honestly I don't remember 🤔
When I saw the Simon and Garfunkel reunion in Oakland, Paul Simon told the story that he wrote the Feelin" Groovy song in '66 after a day spent getting stoned and tripping around San Francisco with some of the guys in the Dead and their crew.
In an interview, Simon revealed that he wrote the song after taking a walk in New York City’s Central Park. The park had just opened a new pedestrian bridge known as the 59th Street Bridge, which was the inspiration for the song.
@notngnimer
Maybe Paul Simon is stoned and tripping everytime he tells his story?
You have most of my favorite dead years. Amazing ,thanks from Cambodia
Thanks for listening!
Lovelight sent, dig it soo healing ❤
Killer
Jerry, I love the guy, still
Providence civic centre and Portland will always top the list for me
Wonderful playing...the part that starts at 8:15 - sounds like playing from the Europe 72 tour. Wonderful!
it is from Europe 72
this was tripping music before electronic instruments, It is from another time long gone by. this is the sound of my teenage stoner years- beautiful vibes, but just a bunch of dudes on guitars and drums :)
Please do a Franklins Tower mix
