Thank you for sharing your story and giving hope in hard situations. My husband and I have a similar backstory. I was pagan and he was/is pantheist, and we had 2 children while unmarried. During the pandemic, I was brought to Jesus and was saved. I had the same conviction to not have relations until we were married. A year later, he agreed to marry. However, we are still in the rough phase of him having aggression against Christianity and me struggling to be the right kind of light for him. I pray and ask others to pray for his salvation. I knew this would be a struggle. I knew Christians aren't supposed to be unequally yoked, but I thought it was best. I was already in the situation and didn't think God would want me to break up a family and make life harder for our children. I also read 1 Corinthians 7:20 "Each person is to remain in that state in which he was called." This showed me that my ministry is my family.

Wow i was a believer, baptized, but i got together with my current husbend without being married and had kids with him, allcause i was lacking faith and still in the flesh. But 1 year after we were together God starting to change my heart, to seek repentence. I did the same thing i told my husband " no more intimacy" for 6 months until we marry, because of my heart being sad every time knowing im sinning. I desperately needed to fix my situation. With the help of God amd a lot of prayers we had all the documents and we married. I was very happy! Then we had hard 1st year full of a lot of fighting , but we overcame everything and i now put our marriage in the hands of God. I believe we will serve God and He will completely change my husband+kids. Im thankfull for my Husband and i know Gods will is stronger than the flesh.

Totally understand your story..I was born Again at 15 back in 1983..Got married at 18 to my high school sweetheart. We divorced in 1989 and I left the church.
Became Wiccan in 1990 then spent many years single and a heathen doing many shameful things daily. In Dec 2004 met my now Buddhist husband we married in 2005 and we went on our marry way until Jan 2016 rededicated my life to Christ. As i have gotten to know my husband over the last 18yrs i have learned so much about God, myself, and my amazing husband. I learned that at 19 he went to Baptist Seminary then he went to Thailand and became a Buddhist. Soon He too will rededicate his life to Christ. Every day i walk in Faith and Love for my Savior Jesus Christ and my husband who i pray will serve God in our Elder Years. God Bless You Sister..

I had to pause the video to say this, boy do I get it! Having to practice kindness through tears; having to practice patience through tears; practice forgiveness through tears etc except in my case it wasn’t through tears but profound anger & resentment. This period for me was excruciating & tormenting…and transformational. All I can say is God works in mysterious ways.

Sorry it was not a transformation. How could it be when simply someone finds the truth? Thought, the simplest is the most difficult.r

Glory to God for working in your husband and calling him to the church! I have just found your channel today, as I'm thinking about head covering in Church... and then I stumbled across this video.
and wow! I am in such a similar situation as you were in. I used to be new age when I met my partner of almost 2 years, and since starting on the journey of being a Christian, we've been through a lot- even though it's only been around 6 months. I've just emailed my priest about becoming a catechumen and I am praying that our relationship can lead us both to Christ, and that my local parish guides us into Holy Matrimony under Christ.
You speaking about how you would talk his ear off and that would just drive him away, my gosh. I felt that in my heart. I've come to the revelation that I do that too- I talk about something new and confusing, or new and scary, rarely the absolute joy of God (which is foolish of me) to him instead of trusting God with him. Focusing on my relationship with God would surely do a better job of showing who God is than through my imperfect words and sinful attempts to control the situation and convert him.
I need to back off and be patient (and not anxious, which is such a cross for me to bear I sometimes wish it was an easier one such as just leaving and giving up...). I don;t know how you did it, but God in you brought you through it and thank God for your husbands draw towards Christ!
I am praying for my partner everyday...it is so difficult but I have hope that God will help - whatever that looks like.
Please pray for me, a sinner.

Many Years! God bless you dear Sister for your inspiring story. Yes, sometimes our journey is pretty rough, but you're so correct- He never leaves us. And then we emerge after the tough lesson a bit more in His image & likeness! Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner 💖🙏

Wonderful video. I'm a revert to Catholicism and my husband is anti-theist. We already have 3 children and obviously staying married is right if at all possible, but man it's tough!!!
Side note, if your hair is really falling out you might want to get the medical labs tested...thyroid and all...👍❤️🕊️

Thank you. And I agree it is the right thing to do. 💯
I did have my thyroid tested. Came back negative. I had other blood work done as well and nothing can be found to be the cause. I have an appointment on October 1st to see a dermatologist. Hopefully to get to the bottom of it. Its falling like crazy and when I'm stressed it's coming out in huge clumps. I am balding on top. It sucks. But I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of it.
      God bless you. 🙏

So happy for you. Love your videos and your humble, gentle presence. Such an inspiration.
I struggle so much with this. How can I submit to my husband and follow his lead when he is not Christian, embraces sin and even dabbles in new age? Seems so easy to let the husband lead if he is a man of God, but in this situation??

Do you think the Orthodox Church is more masculine than the others, & hence his liking & orientation, among other factors? Praise God.
I highly recommend both reading St. John Chysostoms book on Marriage together, sister.

That is a great question. I do wonder this myself. I sometimes think this...that before I found Orthodoxy I was jumping around from church to church and there was no true stability in what I believed, although my faith remained the same, some belifs would change over time from growing and learning, so perhaps the constant change wasn't secure enough for him to take it more seriously...but now, because the church has preserved these truths, I am stable in my beliefs...so perhaps what he likes most now is not only the beauty, and that it is more masculine..... but that it's stable, it's sturdy, and it's true (which can be categorized as masculine traits). Also just as importantly it's alive and transformative. He has grown a very strong connection there where Liturgy has brought him to tears many times and is speaking to his heart and God makes him want to be a better person. I can't speak for him and say this is 100% everything that has drawn him, but it is my observation, from what I see from him and what I hear. I will have to ask him and see what he says.
But in his own words he said to me the other day. "I'm going to put God first."
So praise the Most High for whatever it was that tugged at my husbands heart!
Also thank you so much for the recommendation, I will have to check it out. God bless you!
