I am so blessed by this sister. The meekness and humbleness you carry is beautiful. I didn’t understand why God wanted me to head cover and after praying and fasting He revealed it to me in the scriptures. I have slowly transitioned into it and I am amazed how it humbled me and helped me submit to authority. Thank you for sharing this. This has encouraged me so much. ❤

Welcome "Home", sister.... this was my feeling after convertion. Improper convertion, as I was raised in a major orthodox country (in Romania), so I have received the baptism in the early childhood, but in adolescence I have left the church for more than 15 years to pursue asian practices (buddhism, zen, qui martial arts, zen + new age stuff etc). When I was 31 years old Christ found me... and I had to really do my search if that calling in my heart I was hearing was a true one. So I started to study this old faith my grandmother kept being faithful to, to get out from my superficial state of mind, I what I have discovered has blown my mind and to realize that the orthodox church is indeed the true one church to hold the Truth in its holy. While the other churches and religions might hold some parts of the truth, so the truth only partially, but mixed with many imaginary untrue things which don't stand in Truth. We as "old" orthdox people don't know on what treasure we are standing on and we are just leaving this diamond treasure for some pieces of glowing plastic little beards that are having a better marketing packaging. But thanks God He is the good pastor looking for His lost sheeps. When I have passed through my converting process I have realized I have returned Home with our Lord's mercy, like the prodigal son. And so many other brothers around me have been through similar expriences.

Thanks RR, when I hear testimonies of conversion to Orthodoxy I am struck how many others arrived in a similar manner, including myself. This is truly the very same Church that Jesus declared the “gates of hell will not prevail against it”. Doctrinally it is the same message as what the Apostles were sent forth to teach.

Thanks to your advice and others Christian women on RUclips, as well as being led by the Holy Spirit, I cover full time for the last two years (approx). I feel protected and even more blessed. Thank you for this video. Every blessing x❤

Until i was actually grabbed by God and saved from drowning in a cave. I called on him and he saved me, hence my converted attitude to Christ, Father, and the Holy Spirit. How can I submit to my husband and follow his lead when he is not Christian, embraces sin and even dabbles in new age? Seems so easy to let the husband lead if he is a man of God, but in this situation??

i have been feeling a extremely strong pull to orthodox christian . not sure if it is the strong tradition and modesty living for christ . i covered hair for a couple of religous reasons in the past and they cover for the same reasons

1 Corinthians 11 deals with the subject of a woman and her head covering. It is the responsibility of every Christian to follow the clear teaching of Scriptures, rather than tradition. There is no use to try to follow any subject if you ignore the conclusion of what is written. The concluding verse on this subject is verse 15: But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. Why do you choose to insult God, by placing a covering on the covering that He provided for you? If a woman does not have long hair (of which there may be several reasons, such as during cancer treatments) then she needs a man made covering. But if she has her natural God given covering, then by placing a man made covering over God's covering is making a statement that God's covering is not acceptable or sufficient. The Scriptures tell us that the glory of young men is their strength. So this would be similar, if a young man chooses not to use his strength because I want to be humble. Humility is false if it means we go against God.

Hi sister this veil style is so beautiful, I also am a young mother and have a handful of little children. My question is, does a veil get in your way when you do house work, bend over to clean washrooms for example get down to play with your babies, bath the kids. I think it looks so pretty but isn't it always slipping off, what about the heat, does it get very warm?

I just want to know what God in Abrahamic religions has against women's hair. Strange since he made it. If he thought people shouldn't see our hair, he would have made us with a built in hat on top of our head to cover it, or perhaps just made us bald.

I just want you to know how thankful I am that you made these videos about head coverings. It's something that I have struggled with for the last couple years, but the Lord has kept convicting my heart over it and it's so nice to know that other people, have struggled with it and are practicing it!

Im an Apostolic Pentecostal. We believe hair serves as the covering but i recently got super interested in wearing an actual covering. All the women in my church have been supportive so far which has been helpful, but Today i was rejected by a few people i was attempting to invite to VBS because they saw the head covering and assumed my identity. On one hand it helps me to hold more compassion for what Muslim women face, because i was being judged as one without even identifying as one. On another note it broke my heart, to see how hardened other people's hearts are. But it reminded me, Jesus himself was rejected and persecuted. I felt so discouraged, but i really think the Lord sent this my way to help comfort me

While I see nothing wrong with wearing a headscarf...I'm still skeptical of your true intentions. It seems like you're either caught up in legalism that this makes you feel more pious or like you're living more for the Lord than without the covering. Also, this draws more attention to you than without the covering. In 2nd Timothy Paul admonishes the women for doing this very thing. Bringing attention to themselves. Like I said, I don't think you're doing anything wrong just trying to live a more righteous life using this as a reminder.

This is just such a peaceful and loving video. I've been considering veiling for some time now, but have not yet decided to start. I'm Carpatho-Rusyn ethnically and they have a beautiful tradition of headcoverings.

My questions about wearing head scarves: Are they hot? I'm so sensitive to the heat, like just at 80 degrees. Don't the longer veil type scarves get in the way when doing housework - scrubbing toilets, mopping floors, bending over to take something from the oven etc..

This is ridiculous! Now we are gatekeeping modest fashion! Whos actually doing this? Men? OMG, boys, GET OUT OF MY CLOSET!!! How invasive! Typical male cant get it up without ruining everybody elses day. Ladies, just stop listening to these clowns, and scarf up! Trust me, these jerks spend all day looking for something to troll on people over. Boys, we dont let men in the ladies room. On a deeper level, nobody can defile a womans purity like a hormonally challenged male. If you are a woman whos trolling other women??? What in hell is wrong with you, that you would trash another sister? Seriously. Seek help. Ladies, keep right on looking modestly beautiful. Dont let anyone stop you. You could get your scalp burned if you dont put on that scarf! From an American hijabi, the muslim way is best. Oh, and i will take it off, if i want to, too!!!

Thank you for sharing your story and giving hope in hard situations. My husband and I have a similar backstory. I was pagan and he was/is pantheist, and we had 2 children while unmarried. During the pandemic, I was brought to Jesus and was saved. I had the same conviction to not have relations until we were married. A year later, he agreed to marry. However, we are still in the rough phase of him having aggression against Christianity and me struggling to be the right kind of light for him. I pray and ask others to pray for his salvation. I knew this would be a struggle. I knew Christians aren't supposed to be unequally yoked, but I thought it was best. I was already in the situation and didn't think God would want me to break up a family and make life harder for our children. I also read 1 Corinthians 7:20 "Each person is to remain in that state in which he was called." This showed me that my ministry is my family.

It is a struggle. I have been tempted to not wear it...but I keep my head covered. A lot of people see me as Muslim. My co workers talk about me and the men ask questions. It is mainly the women.
