My friend and I have decided to Christian veil, reason being that we want to build a closer bond to God, we want to follow the path of Christ, to live modestly and to be humble. Yet we have faced criticism from people close to us and asked us "Do you want to be a Muslim now?"...Which makes us upset by the ignorance..We understand that veiling is a sign of purity and we have to earnestly follow the laws in the Bible...We are not making a "fasion statement", we know that it bears more responsibility as a Christian. So i have decided to follow my own path, it is a journey for myself and God, nobody else ❤✝️.

IMO, One should not divide between the two since both are Apostolic churches and Chrsit is continuing to build upon each one. At the end of the day, when we are to be judged we will be judged based on our faithful works for Christ. There will be Protestants, Catholics and Orthodoxes in Hell. Thise people are what I call nominal Christians, they are Christians in name only. To conclude, go and serve the Lord wherever you are at, at a Catholic Church, or Orthodox church. Go bear fruit so the Master of the vineyard will be delighted since you are abiding in His vineyard Son. I am i a journey as well out of Protestantism into Orthodoxy.

I wish to head cover.. I feel more secure in a way and find it so beautiful and simple. Where I'm from however it is not common at all, would draw attetion at first and I'm not sure I could handle that well.

Our Lord is not concerned about belonging to titles of the church. I’m so saddened to keep seeing this. Those who belong to Him, belong to Him. Why isn’t that enough for so many of us? We still feel the need to belong to an earthly organization.

Prayer beads, christ on the cross, covering your head in part of the video and not in others. Plus you said "He was and were." Giving mixed signals all around most likely to garner views and fame. And i saw u do the sign of the cross before entering the door. Better check you're heart is right.

Praise be to God. I used to watch you when I was discerning between Orthodoxy and Catholicism. I was 99% sure I'd become Orthodox, but God can do wonders with even 1%. I became Catholic at the 11th hour. P.s I too was dragged kicking and screaming into the Catholic church. I cried myself to sleep when I realized I had to become Catholic.

Are you going to explain the reason: because of angels? It as nothing to do on whether a woman is married or not. What about single women? I believe the Holy Spirit must reveal and confirm.

My dear sister in the Lord, my heart is so moved and my eyes are in tears. You have perfectly explained my journey as well. It is truly sublime. It is the Lord Jesus Christ at work in and through His people. Like you I tried so hard in so many different churches to meet frustration. Here the burden is easy and I long for it. I too found other churches did not have the firm foundation. This is the true church of Jesus Christ to the glory of God. May your journey be ever closer to Jesus Christ for your whole family. I am praying and covet your prayers for my husband to fall in love with it.

There are many young converts to Orthodoxy at our church in Euless, Texas. I converted when I was twenty two and I am fifty five now. I had an Irish mother and was raised Roman Catholic. My father was 100% Greek and I was exposed to Orthodoxy through him. Welcome home!

I stopped head covering because of the steryotype of ppl thinking im muslim and even nuns i was close to would say something about it. I would wear dresses skirts too super modest and get heavily talked down on but when i dress like the world (i dont expose too much or show so much skin) no one says anything. Its weird

there are no such categories as orthodox christian and any other christian. Christian is christian. Have you been to messianic congregation? Besides how will you stay away from idols, ss stJohn(Yohannan) writes in orthodoxy? Even first 4 commandments out of 10 are openly willfully broken by the church. I am also a Catholic convert who has switched to wearing skirts and dresses. I only have a son, but I am often shocked by what I see in the children's section marketed towards little girls. There is a very popular line of dolls called LOL Surprise that all look like strippers or drag queens, I was very disturbed the first time I saw them. Modesty is definitely hated in our culture, it is "normal" now for women to walk around in barely more than underwear, but people seem to think it is crazy to wear a long skirt.

Great video! I’m grateful my mom (1933) made me (1963) dress modestly. I had to wear a bathrobe over my pajamas (one older brother), shorts under dresses for school. We went to very conservative schools (Quaker founded town). We were in High School before we could wear corduroy jeans (9th grade), then regular jeans. I’m 61 and have continued to dress much more modest than most women I know. My ample chest never has its cleavage showing! Our two daughters were raised the same as I was until they were out of HS. All four of our kids are married, have children and living their best lives that make their dad and I very proud.
