Your Prince 1999 single is way cool, and "Danger Zone" is a must for great cheesy 80's ! ( A monster tune, actually.. Same greatness as "Footloose" ) I have the Beverly Hills Cop II soundtrack. Awesome picture sleeve of Jody Whatley ! Dead Or Alive, cool... and Lime Spiders is my favorite !
Wanted to bring in some of those college dj 45's I picked up back then, and mix it in with the Top 40 stuff. I have the Jody Watley LP as well. As time goes on, I have a fondness for 80's Kenny Loggins! 🎶😎
Late on catching up. I enjoyed the series. Up where we belong is rather good. St Elmo’s fire is equally good. Dead or alive something from my house is my favorite of the bunch.
Never late, Shawn! I appreciate the watch whenever folks can make the time. 🙂 That Dead or Alive song you don't hear that much anymore. I dig it also! Glad you're liking the series. I'm having fun putting it together. 🎶
That Lords of the New Church track is hilarious, but I like it. I've never seen anyone show Flesh for Lulu. Excellent Pixies sleeve. Wow, the Godfathers 🙂Cool things, Ed 👍
Hey Ed. Great Video! As a huge soundtrack guy I love the Officer And A Gentleman 45. John Parr was huge. Great Tubes CD, I saw them on tour for their 2nd album "Young and Rich" they had like 20 people on stage, it was killer. That Jody Watley song is really good. Lime Spiders! That Godfather's 45 is beautiful. Great stuff!! Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Thanks, Bobby! As usual, I go back and play a lot of these again (especially the B sides) when making these videos. Whatever happened to The Tubes? I should look that up. As always, I appreciate the watch! 😎🎶
@ i think the Tubes tour every now and then. And I know at least 3 or 4 have sadly passed on . The singer Fee tried his hand at acting for a long time, and I believe he had a few bit parts here and there. Cheers
That music video for Walking on Thin Ice is very entertaining. Kenny’s shoulder pads. “Some might say the dreaded David Foster” 😂…What is Love is a great track. She’s a Beauty is another one., actually picked up that Clarence Clemons record for $2 before I left Boston. I love the single but the rest of it is pretty listenable actually. I have that Lords cover on their compilation Killer Lords. Ben Rankins loves Lime Spiders. Flesh For Lulu! Love it from way back. Cool video Ed! ✌️
@@MGKBOSTON I can't even remember that video: a RUclips search awaits! I've got the Lords first LP: 'Open Your Eyes' takes me back to early MTV. Saw the Lime Spiders here in CT back in '87 or so when I was young and groovy. Both Ben and Richard S. are fans, yup. Flesh For Lulu 'Idol' I have on 12" single. Thanks for the watch, Mike! 😎🎶
Mmmm.. It's interesting how some things disappear. 🫠 Thanks for the shout-out. This is another great Prince B-side. In all honesty, was there anyone cooler than Prince? Look at that cover! George Michael's single seems mild in today's world. Cool imports. Killer Pixies single.
My favorites in this video:
Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. I like the photo.
Of course, Howard Jones, What Is Love. The Human Lib singles are great!
I agree, Catherine! Human's Lib is a great record overall. Thank you as always for the watch and comment.😎🎶

Thanks! Not sure how that stuff from the radio station ended up in my backpack back in 1987...guess we'll never know! 😎🎶

Wow these are nice. Really like the Madonna sleeve. Pixies and LOTNC are super cool!
Thanks, Gary! Always fun to put these little videos out there. LOTNC: Subtle! 😎🎶

Another fun episode, Ed! I have never heard of Lime Spiders, but I love the sleeve! The Godfathers picture disc is also very cool. Great work!
Thanks, Mark! I enjoy putting these together. Went back and played a good number of them again, as usual😎🎶
awesome ed!!!
Thanks for the watch and comment, as always, Dave! Appreciate it 😎🎶
@@onmyturntable7036 cool you have those pictures sleeves!!

Interesting indeed! Agreed: one of Prince's best B sides. That Pixies sleeve will end up on the wall as part of the music room makeover in 2025 😎🎶
