Brother, we all go through different hardships in life. Try to read, meditate and exercise. Empower yourself and you’ll be back up again. You can do it!!! Don’t linger in the past. Never doubt your inner self you’re amazing!!!
Amazing EP. KK TX just has that “it” factor. This song is essentially one big breakdown, yet it sounds so much more than that. It’s often very noticeable when other bands use too many breakdowns or other stereotypical metal/hardcore elements, but this is heavy and brutal, yet unique, groovy, and mixed/blended so well. Everyone and every instrument shines through. The drums and bass (elements often overshadowed in other bands/genres) pop. Not to mention, Matt’s voice and the lyrics are just stellar and fit so well. This may not be for everyone, but it’s hard to deny KK TX is killing it.
So well said. My personal favorite band of the modern era. And they earned that respect by always dropping great projects. I always liked them but when Absolute dropped, my mind was made up.
I guess, better late than never? I've heard some KKTX in the past but man, this whole album absolutely fucking bangs, and the lyrics kind've resonate with me in ways that I wish I couldn't relate to but damn man, thanks for this music is all I gotta say.
For anyone wondering where the sanple at the end of the song is. It's from the Soft White Underbelly interview with warden/executionary Charlie Jones. You can find it on youtube
I think the guy at the end is a retired prison warden. He has an interview on the channel Soft White Underbelly where he talks about executions and prisoners. Very interesting.
This EP is their best work to date. Wow.
For me it's a tie between this and absolute, definitely not disappointed at all though. It's a fucking banger of an EP
Absolute was awesome. This is just too short. I need more!!
@@bernardzafend6290 agreed, but hence the EP. You know an LP isn't far behind
Not his heavier album or EP but his best..
They just keep getting better
This band is single handedly keeping me together. I can’t appreciate it enough
💋💋💋

Yes. They are helping a lot with my alcohol problem. I love them boys.
just started listening to them a month ago, doing my pushups and FUCK THAT BITCH, hope youre doing good.
Band has the whole package, great tracks, savage vocals and real ass lyrics. Glad to see them finally getting some well deserved recognition
"They just have to let the rough end drag". LOVE IT
The groove is heavy with this one. I gotta check out more from this band.
You won’t regret it, they don’t have a bad album
There great live too.

They're good songwriters, that's the difference. Every breakdown has purpose.
So simple, yet one of the grooviest things I’ve ever heard. It’s hard to make a recording have so much energy. Randy LeBeouf is the man
2:24 Try to not headbang challenge
I fail everytime
Death metal guy since the early 90's. Best new age pit!
This one really had me gripping the steering wheel omw to work this morning. What a Friday! 👊
One of the best recordings rise has ever put out on their label to date
Yea and my dads a virgin!

I wish it was more than 5 songs... I need more! 😫
God damn I love this band. Right in the feels. 🔥
Seeing them live in a couple of days , can’t wait
this ep is so sick i find it cool that the first song and the last song share the same last words

The guy talking at the end was a warden at an Alabama state prison who did executions via electric chair
Absolutely brutal and beautiful at the same time…one of the best drum mixes I’ve ever heard, raw and nasty ✊🏻
They just know how to make the heaviest shit groovy. Unreal.
Just have a blasttt day🔥🔥🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I just stumbled onto this…it is brutal
In the genre of throwdown
And hatebreed …good shit
Love me some Throwdown and hatebreed just hoping Throwdown will put out an album sooner or later
I can't imagine how this doesn't become their most popular song, I'm confused
Another great metal song.
This EP is heavy and groovy. Can't find no weaknesses
KKtx is the grooviest band that I know. What a band.
PHAT 😤🔥🔥🤘
Sometimes you gotta let the rough end drag ole son…
Heavy AF

This kind of reminds of the band PRONG.

Edit: it did not let up it kept going harder the whole song
