Bees fan here. In answer to the "how often do you see a player booked for a long throw in?". Norgaard our captain got a yellow for a throw in in under 10 seconds last season - 8 seconds I think it was. Mad inconsistency. Good luck for the rest of the season - you deserved more from Saturday.
I'm not glum. I'm excited. The club saw first hand the value of Chaplin after too many matches without him. We have tried to make our older players fit in with the new buys, where really our strength is clearly to do it the other way around. Chaplin is key for his quick thinking and inventiveness.
At some stage, our luck has to change... I know we're our own worst enemy at times, but VAR over turning our Pen last week, then over turning the free kick this week... If Burgess' leg is at any other point in his stride, Wissa is offside for their second, Delap's shot hitting the post etc... just a bit of luck would be very nice
I didn't listen to the end of this - but the bit at the beginning about the abuse of Joe for the VAR penalty discussion last weekend - please come back Joe, you are the most insightful of the BM team!
The problem for Ipswich now is that all of the promotion energy has now gone and they have failed to capitalise on it. It’s going to be a long slog now I think.
If they don't beat Leicester up next even the most eternal optimist can probably see the writing on the wall. And please McKenna be brave and make a decision on the GK situation..
The trend in our games is playing fairly well (most of the time) but making silly errors that lead to goals for our opponents. What hurts about this defeat is how we threw away a two-goal lead. Agree about the GK.
Don't underestimate how injuries are becoming a huge problem, we now have no right sided defender and only two fit CM.and have lost Ogbene for a year.My optimism is draining away.
Just want to say thank you to the Ipswich fans for joining in the minute’s applause for Holly.

Luck has a funny way of balancing itself over time, at the end of the season we'll finish where we deserve to.

So many positives from Saturday. Hopefully we can keep learning from mistakes. Need to beat Leicester.

If they fail to beat Leicester I think we’ll have an idea of where we’ll be playing next season.
Great game good improvement from the Liverpool game .

@@geoffpoole483 - yes, it's almost mirror shades of Burnley last season.

3 mins of questions🤷♂️..chaps make it 90mins if needed the more the moet lads 👍🤣
Muric didn’t take any pressure off defence the whole game … he is 6’7” and didn’t come and take one cross! 🤷
