Awesome! Can't wait to see this build. I have this kit as well that I got from you I'll be doing soon. Can't wait to see your build.
Nice! I bought a copy of this kit the last time it was available and have been working up the nerve to start it!
I have a copy of the USCP kit issued earlier this year that I plan to cut my teeth on once I clear my in-progress queue.
I have been searching high n low for this trans kit!!!
USCP did a kit in May, I got one for 65 GBP. Maybe mail them to see if they will do more
They won’t atleast not for a couple years
@@TheScalemodelingChannel never mind. I found a pic of the box and it was a limited run
I don’t understand. Why would they not sell or make more of this kit knowing it will sell great in the market?
Awesome Tom, I love the american muscle bro, awesome car and movie! Thanks for the look in the box.....Mike (Whitey).
Really looking forward to this build!
Looking forward to this build!
Oh thats cool! Ive had a gt500m poster on my wall since i was 8! Ive seen it in real life in Berlin too :)
I managed to pre-order the USCP kit this year in May, it too is very nice and was only 65 GBP. In a couple of years I will get round to it. More kits need to be produced as there is demand.
Can't wait to see it I built the orignial Eleanor from the 1974 original Gone in 60 seconds
Seam's that not many people know about the original Eleanor or the original Gone In 60 Seconds . Great movie ! I think it was a 1973 Mustang fast back in Yellow, Was it a Mach 1 ?
@@CovertOperation13 no wasn't a mach 1 a 71 made to look like a 73
@@charliesmodels647 Cool
Ohhhh
"Eleanor"
My platonic love.
Can't wait to watch this one.. I love it when u do the US muscle cars!
One of my grail kits!
My favorite car
Exciting 👍
Thats pretty cool !! 👍👍
El auto de mis sueños 😍
For those of you "jonesing" for a 1/24 scale Eleanor, there is the diecast available now.
Thanks thanks. You are building my dream car.
I need this!
I think you have a second generation casting, I got hood pins, rotors, and calipers in my kit. Excellent kit though, was a blast to build, I'll get you some pics.
Didn't you watch the video? 3.20...
Those are just the photo-etched pieces.
@@DCHainline yes but they are hood pins, callipers and rotors. Nothing wrong with PE.
I'm talking resin calipers and rotors.
@@DCHainline yes mate I realise that now. You didn't say that at the time and again nothing wrong with PE. In fact it is better because the bare steel looks more like actual rotors. Not that you'll see it under the wheel anyhow.
Tom,
A couple questions...
Are you building this as a faithful movie Eleanor replica or as a modified Shelby?
If it's the latter, you'd have more flexibility to do what you like, but still in the spirit of the movie car (colors, engine swap, etc).
Will this be a "curb side" or are you detailing out the engine bay?
Would love to see you do an engine bay with more detail than you normally do (some wiring, labels...).
Anyway- great luck with your new build, it looks promising!
Ill be building it to “movie spec” looks wise with the parts i have. Not modifying or changing it all.
The engine will be used and wired up a bit. Not going overboard detail wise. Again, just using the parts i have.
Cool, that'll give you some specific parameters to work with.
BTW- if you google "Mustang Eleanor Engine Bay" there are a bunch of photos for detail reference.

👍
do you build trucks and do you always put disc brakes on your cars
Nice! Too bad i don't have the skills to finish a project like that...

Sweet kit big LiKE.. :) =)
I would give my eye teeth for this trans-kit
I’m trying my best to find a 67 cougar reproduction. Any websites?
Well, nicholas cage will be proud.
The original "Eleanor" was yellow. The remake "Elanor" is grey
The original eleanor was also not a 67
In the movie the nos button says go baby go
Is the amt and this one the same?
No
No interior?
This is not a kit. Its a trans kit. The interior and other parts come from the donor kit
