Not really a dirty tactic, it's part of the game. It makes your opponent have to account for yet another strategy. Maybe next time they put a lot of air and ground defense next to their construction yard. Your strategy is clever and would definitely upset opponents, but it's not dirty!

I've actually been playing C&C since the first Red Alert, but not competitively.. I've never heard the phrase "Base Walk", I've always tried to keep the REST of my base as protected as possible, walling off places of ingress & setting up a multitude of base defenses around my camp to make it more difficult for my enemies to do any real damage.. Then again, I've been playing against bots, soooo.... 🤣🤣

On maps like bay of pigs, which has something like 20 oil derricks, that initial engineer rush can quickly swing the game in your favor.
when you do top 5 / tutorial videos like this i think you shoud turn down the music down a bit because i feel like what are you talking about is more important than the music. 3:11 i think the music is to loud . Ps: i rally like your work that you are putting in your chanel keep it up !

nah if this was spirit of the law he would make a 30 min video alone about how effective it is going for the close gold or letting your miners go a longer way for the gems and ofc alot more numbers ;p
I use to play this alot. I noticed that many time you build an ore factory get a miner then sell the factory. I am surprised you didnt touch on this because you do it often.
*Ra2: Yuri's revenge:* get Allies CC and build Spies with clone vats then change them into a expensive unit and put them in the grinder = infinite money. THIS is hands down the best money maker, but also the hardest, since u need an enemy of the Allies and build a building in your base or get lucky with a crate.
i once completed the yuri's revenge allied campaign mission where you have destroy the grinders in la with only using basewalk and i did it byt using grand cannons and power generators (i have a challange for you: complete the whole yuri's revenge dlc using only basewalk)
Additional info for tip #4... I've been messing the ini codes for the game in years but there is a "flag" that gives an idea of "Credits in first capture"... and mostly oilderricks are given 1000 credits for the ones who first capture it... so you are basically at least more motivated to capture oil derricks earlier in the game...

there are two mods: one on CNCnet and one here on RUclips. I dont know which one is better :p

Base walking is probably the most essential part of multiplayer survival

#1 u can basewalk or u can just move mcv (also works, because u cant basewalk on all maps).
