Always go bachelor in veterinary medicine and surgery after mbbs for cuz most of the subjects in veterinary are related to mbbs subjects like anatomy, pathology, physiology, embryology, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, epidemiology, surgery, gynaecology, and there is so much scope after ug you can do pg in surgery,pathology, gynecology, animal nutrition, radiology, oncology, neuro and heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, opthalmology, wildlife vet doctor, and many more branches. In government you can apply for post of (veterinary assistant surgeon, veterinary officer or can prepare for upsc) ,can open private clinics , research fields, vaccine testing and development, can serve in Para military at the post of assistant commandant , in army (if you clear ssb interview you gonna serve as veterinary officer under the rank of captain and you got handsome salary as well ) , pharmaceutical companies, research centers, ngo vet and in abroad if you clear the international veterinary licensing exam(navle) as (usmle) for medical students for America and Canada . The average starting salary of veterinary doctors is about 50 - 70thousand dollars per annum which is equivalent 40-60 lakh per annum in Indian rupees which increases according to your experience like most paid branch in vet medicine is neurosurgery . If you love animals and want to save lives then one should choose veterinary . I hope this helps ,even my brother cleared (navle) north america veterinary licensing exam ,n now currently living a luxurious life as a veterinary neurosurgeon

And one thing,,BAMS,ko bridge course ki jaroorat hai bhi nhi,,qk BAMS k syllabus m already 5.5 yrs m sab kuch padhaya aur sikhaya jaata hai,,,aur ayurved ki padhai jo hoti h wo alag,,,so mujhe lgta h apne aap m koi full dr hai to woh BAMS wala h,qk use dono branches ki achi knowledge hoti h,,,BAMS,dr can handle both situations emergency nd chronic, but mbbs can't handle chronic disease....

Bvsc > Bsc nursing > BAMS > BDS > BHMS
Everyone is talking about bams neglecting bhms but u all should know if we compare private clinic bhms make more money than bams and in comparison for government job it's true that bhms has lesser vacancy than bams but bhms government college is rarely 1 or 2 in any state just don't go with flow visit some clinic than compare

BDS choose karna bewakoofi hai, pls jo log delh rahe hai, bds mat choose karna. Mai bhi govt dental college me hu, mere yaha jo seniors 5 saal pehle paas hue the, aaj bhi berojgaar hai. BDS bsc se bhi jyaada bekaar hai, meri maano aap log BVSc ya BAMS choose karo, best hai. Par bds nhi. Mai abhi se bta rha hu, kyoki mai bds govt college se karke pachta rha hu.

@@crazys6202 Bro I am not saying that BAMS has a vast scope but if we compare with other Medical courses then we get BAMS has good scope than BDS/BHMS/BUMS etc. Its tue that after passing BDS you hardly get a job otherwise you would have to end up with a Dental Clinic only. Bcz there is less( we can say NO) jobs for BDS. The conditions of other courses are same. If being a medical graduate, after lots of hard work and passion if you can't get a minimum amount of money and respect then why anyone choose such type of course..tell me? The scope and job opportunities are better than Other medical courses thatswhy I am preferring BAMS. But please exple more and more before getting into any courses. Thank you

@@djyrtsfwo91648I will suggest that you should explore another option other than BDS. Agar BAMS bhi better ha BDS se. If you have a background of Dentistry in family then definitely go for it, otherwise I will not suggest you to join BDS. BDS is a trap which I am suffering daily....

Don't know why indians are have sick mentality regarding bds ! Its is the best medical course for nowdays ! After mbbs u have to pursue m.d inorder to get sufficient salary but after only bds u can run your clinic and honestly I am saying my father is dentist and u can easily earn around 2 lakhs in a month after 1 year of practice and u can also do short courses after bds which are cheap ! Indians still have old thinking and who says mbbs doctor have better value in general public I have seen many mbbs doctor earning just 20 k and mbbs degree dosent have value these days u have to pursue m.d .

We have dental surgeons here as tutors in bsc nursing college on contractual base. In metro cities every 100 meter is having a dental clinic

Happy to hear that ur father earns good through clinic but it is because he wud have started it way early before when there wsnt too many clinics as there are now. yes, u can take veterinary subject as an optional subject in upsc

If I career in veterinary sciences then I would have two options...
First I can take veterinary sciences as an optional in UPSC.
Second If I might not be the topper of UPSC then I can choose wildlife vets as my career and especially I'll be able to connect with forest department with the help of this job.

Everyone is talking about bams neglecting bhms but u all should know if we compare private clinic bhms make more money than bams and in comparison for government job it's true that bhms has lesser vacancy than bams but bhms government college is rarely 1 or 2 in any state just don't go with flow visit some clinic than compare
