    In regard to those who thought Lex has been paying us to work on Die Rise, lemme clear that up as well.
    Originally, this map was a commission by Lex for Xela and I to make. Soon after we started, Xela decided he'd rather have Lex simply promote his Patreon instead of paying him directly. Eventually, I created a Patreon page too and opted to do the same thing once that got rolling.
    So he is now not paying us directly to work on the map. Instead, his promotion and the attention he brings to us supports us indirectly since that brings in people to support us on Patreon. This allows us to take time off our jobs to spend more time on Die Rise and whatever other maps.

    In regard to Lex saying "my map" or other similar phrases when talking about Die Rise, this is simply in reference to him being a part of the "team behind Die Rise Remastered".
    Aside from his role as our sponsor that I mentioned in the video, he also helped design the new 3rd main Easter Egg that we will be adding into the map, as well as gave some ideas for new side quests in the map.
    I apologize for not adding this in the video. I didn't realize that there was this much confusion about him supposedly "fully funding" the map, but I hope this clears things up :)

      Pretty skilled devs that is certain but a Commission is a commission and if he has payed any amount of money that has to be taken into account. And an agreement is an agreement and if changing the payment method is taken into the agreement then the process of providing still applies if he holds your choice of payment.

      Was there a reason for changing the choice of payment towards advertising on patreon?

      The chosen payment option before the patreon advertising switch. Was the amount offered substantial towards the full cost? If so, and if you agreed to it. It would be 'fully-funded' as thats how a commission goes. The main point here is what was the agreement written as before you changed towards a choice of payment being patreon advertising?
      Closing... If the payment was originally direct money transfer that was then substituted for another form of payment and lets say he didn't advertise as many companies are payed to advertise and if they do not they will not get anything (most of them are payed in advance). This would count as not fully-funded. If he did advertise as a method of payment accepted. Then he has fully-funded.
      You guys are very skilled and I do like the new additions from devs recently in live-action events, scripting, and animations. I saw a very well done train sequence in Lonely Dark by Muffled. I mean to be honest the advertising could have been done in many other mediums instead of substituting the payment method to avoid this. And everyone who see's gameplay, hears news etc. They would pay the patreon and of course the patreon should be priced towards your liking as you have your lives and the time you spend on these projects should be taken into consideration.

      I think you’ve given too much leeway with how Lex promotes your map. He’s not a sponsor by definition. I totally understand your side of development believe me, but this has led to confusion and contempt for funding your project. I think you should talk to lex again and when you guys make some development progress, then let lex debut it and that’s it. He talks like he put money down on the development of this map or that he hired you guys when it was just a commission. He should not be referred to as a sponsor because it’s false. And these future maps (aka transit) should not be talked about until development begins. Especially now you guys are no longer putting out release windows for die rise. Take your time, do what need to do. But you need to discuss terms of lex’s involvement in this project and how to market your project. Godspeed.

      @@definitelynotspam3134 That I'm not sure about. I can assume they've "halted" production maybe. But it's been being labeled as a scam by the community due to the developers over-monetizing Patreon Supporter Tiers for early access to the map (ranging to upwards of at least 600USD from what I've seen) They've also been apparently leaving everyone in the dark since April about development progress on the map, as well as the Plutonium T7 creator exposing "Dannyyy", a map creator involved in other past scams, to be the man behind the Green Run Productions Tranzit Patreon scam.
      It's somewhat of a rabbit hole you'll need to research yourself.

    Thanks for clearing up Lex's role in Die Rise remastered. I always thought he was the creative director with the way he always talks about the map in his videos and livestreams. I knew that you and Xela did have the final say, but never knew he was the sponsor.

      Lex is a very clever individual. With how he worded everything about his role in Die Rise he was very crafty. He talks like he is a creative manager but has never once said anything of the sort. It's confused a lot of people as to what Lexs involvement is in the project since he always said "Dobby, Zella and I are remastering Die Rise". But as it turns out all he does is donate a little bit of money and tries to force in his own ideas. It's kinda weird why he tries to be so manipulative about this since we all know he's no game developer.

    9:54 honestly the best solution for this instead of the cheesey place once and stay open forever would be for the first PAP open to keep it the same way as before but to have something in the PAP room like a fuse to pick up and charge (perhaps by killing avogadro while holding the fuse) and then placing said fuse in a panel next to the door in power which will then keep the door open for the whole match. This makes it so skilled players can still PAP early but not make it annoying for repeat trips.
    The biggest issue that everyone has regarding PAP is much less that the door closes but more not understanding WHY the door closes. People think they can just take the same turbine they've had since round 1 and the door will stay open long enough when that's just not the case if you know how the turbine actually functions (which nobody is smart enough to even realize that it has an in game health indicator and just continues to blame bad game design) But perhaps also putting that health indicator on the HUD like the shield icon does may help out a little too.

    On the bus pass topic. I've thought about ways tranzit can be improved without changing to much of the original and I think a great way to implement that system is to just add a little bus stop sign with a little buyable 500 point so that the bus comes straight to your location. I just thought of this now while writing this comment but adding a small map inside the bus that you could purchase to travel to another POI would be cool but probably unnecessary. Also I like the idea of changing the teleporting system to how Classified from b04 worked by showing the POI in the teleporter before jumping in. And just as an overall reduce the spawn speed and max of the two denizens constantly jumping on your head to just one attacking every 10-15 sec while in the fog

    Super excited for this! Totally respect the time and effort required to create such intricate, and visually complex maps. Never feel like you "have" to work on it, take as long as you need. I for one would be happy waiting multiple years if it means we get an S tier product and it doesn't take a toll on your mental health. Keep up the awesome work, we appreciate you guys! 💙

    Calling the bus has always been an idea I had as a kid when playing the map. I think it would really help the maps flow especially in the later rounds

    For the Jet Gun I would suggest to make upgrade quests in the form of add-ons to the weapon for example an extra buildable part where it makes the Jet Gun charge faster, another one for it to last longer, another one to increase the range of fire etc. and you can add all of them at the same time after completing each quest I think that would add so more value to the gun and to be able to start each quest you of course would've to build the Jet Gun and shoot to specific objects around the locations of the map (One part per main location)

    If you do changes on TranZit, I've got these suggestions to not even make the map good, but simply bearable:
    The Jet Gun would have obvious changes, like no longer breaking, no longer being equipment but instead a main weapon, and would have the same range as the Thundergun, as it sucks in zombies in the same manner as the Gursh Device and the upgraded Wind Staff's charged shot by sending them flying towards you and preventing them from acting at all. So the way it appears in BO6.
    For the Lamps, all lamps will activate once the power is on, and a hole is dug, with the need for Denizens being eliminated by having the shovel in the map. As for lamp placement, two lamps exist at each bus stop, one at the point of the bus' entry, and the other at the point of the bus’ exit. The lamp at the point of entry will send players to the previous bus stop, while the lamp at the point of exit will send players to the next bus stop. Lastly one lamp exists in front of each important in-between location, such as the Prototype, the Hunter’s Cabin and Pylon. These lamps will send players to a random bus stop location.
    For the Bus, it can be permanently stopped at a bus stop location when needed, but also be called upon from one of these locations. Furthermore, the bus roof will now instead have a question mark at the start of the game, and a new upgrade material for the bus will come in the form of a new chalk item that allows players to copy an existing wall weapon using the chalk, and apply it to the bus
    For both the Power & Pack-A-Punch, neither will be required to be built, and a turbine will no longer be required to access Pack-A-Punch, but by simply turning the power on
    For Perks, Wall Buys, Buildable parts & anything else of substance, simple rule, nothing will be beyond the fog, everything is located in the bus stop areas(with the exception of the Prototype, Hunter's Cabin and Pylon)

Im very excited to see what you come up with, and i actually have a request of my own!: in the nacht area of the map, please will you add the upper and downstairs rooms to the map complete with ourchasable doors for the same price as on the original map, with a mysterybox location and the secret kar98k wallbuy upstairs? I only ask this because after collecting the jet gun part there is no reason to regurn to this area, however i find thatbits one of the most instense areas for returning players to challenge themselves with and ive always thought that it is such a shame that the area is given so little love, for such a cool nod to the original map. Thank you in advance! Ill be watching your future updates!

    IMPROVED JET GUN LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!
    Gosh I was so psyched for the jet gun when it first came out strictly because I never saw gameplay or played with it beyond knowing it exists, and when I built it, I was so underwhelmed... You can't use it for any meaningful amount of time and it felt like it didn't do anything! It was worse than the PM63 from BO1! I can't wait to see how you make it viable!

      Well technically damage wise, it is the most powerful wonder weapon in black ops zombies to date. But because of the rate you can use the weapon, time to use it after using it, it's very lackluster to use. I think the paralyzer was what they were aiming for when creating the jet gun but it just didn't transition on paper. If we didn't have to re find the parts after breaking, and got to use more of it before having to cool down, and the cool down time not being so long then this might have been the top 5 wonder weapon of all time because it was a really good concept just wasn't executed correctly

    I just recently got back into Zombies after not playing since the release of BO4. All of my CoD games were on my old crappy Xbox, so I bought a Steam account that had BO3 on it, and I've been loving it. I saw the Call of the Dead remaster somebody had done for BO3 in the workshop, and thought it was cool as hell, and wondered if anyone had given that treatment to the BO2 maps. Finding out nobody had was a bit sad, but finding out that you guys are nearly done with Die Rise is very exciting for me, as it's a map I never got to experience before. I'm also excited for Tranzit of course

    It would be really interesting to see the unique power system in Tranzit expanded upon. Maybe instead of just having the turbine/power switch, the galvaknuckles and maybe the wunderwaffe could be used to interact with perks/the environment. Would be a nice twist on the map since the turbine is extremely annoying to use/rely on. It could also be interesting to see upgradable perks in the map that give extra bonuses after you complete certain tasks. The perk icons could then turn golden (similar to the golden helmet/shovel in Origins) to signify the upgrades have been completed. Another potential idea would be to increase the number of parts/part utilizations throughout the map. It's fairly annoying that on vanilla Tranzit you have to choose where certain parts go (esp when some choices are objectively better than others). I am excited to see what a talented mod team on a superior engine will bring to Tranzit. It could honestly be one of the best zombies maps of all time if done right!
    EDIT: Another cool easter egg would be to have the WaW PPSH in the Nacht area of the map. It's a fan-favorite weapon, and would be a nice call back to classic zombies.

    Idk how good it'd be in practice, it'd definitely be something to playtest, but I think a cool thing to try would be to have the bus not stop anywhere until you flag it down at a specific stop

    Hey guys, I know Shangrila was remastered on Bo3, but are you guys able to take that remaster and replace Widow’s Wine or like Deadshot or sum with PHD Flopper? The remaster is really great, but the combo with Mustang’s and Sally’s and PHD Flopper makes the map so much more enjoyable.

    Tranzit is unfinished. If you want it to be truely faithful why not add the cut content thats supposed to be there to make it work besides just looking pretty? makes no sense. youre already improving the jet gun why not route b and everything else.

    I love the idea of this remaster being more of an original concept type remaster. Its going to be based on the concept art and old loading screens and im loving it. My only question is, weve only seen town and bus depot concept art, but nothing for farm, power, nacht etc. what will you all be doing for these areas? Will they be the same or changed?

    Bus pass is a great idea, I think adding a few platforms in the lava pools for if people wanna just run around the map. But make it a hard jump to make so only those with skill can get over the lava pools.

    In the Bo2 Beta talks of Tranzit they were talking about adding a lamp that would ward off denizens. Fun fact its the same lamp in buried! Id love to see this put into the mod as mashing melee every 2 minutes gets tiresome.

    My question never got covered :( I wanted to know if anything would be changed in regards of getting to down team mates/respawning mechanics? The biggest pain point of tranzit is the navigation across the map, which leads into the second biggest issue: getting downed. In BO2, if you went down in tranzit it was basically over, team mates could rarely get to you in time because the teleporters were so inconsistent, and when you respawned next round trying to fully navigate back around the map with nothing was challenging for many. To that extent, I think some possibilities to address the issue would be:
    - Longer bleed out times, to allow team mates more time to teleport around and get to you
    - If tombstone is in the map, have players respawn near their tombstone and not near the host, this way they can actually get their tombstone before it despawns
    - Make teleporters more likely to teleport near downed players, so getting to downed team mates is easier

    The bus pass is a great idea. Maybe make it like u need to use the regular bus 5-10 times. After that u can buy the ticket from ted and instantly call the bus from anywhere. Would also be cool to include some more stops where u can be dropped off and call the bus.

    1 great change to Tranzit would be to add a couple more on-foot shortcuts. Being able to run from place to place would make the map so, so much more playable

    On the topic of the "bus pass" or similar system:
    I think it'd be nice if when used, the bus will simply begin moving through its route and not stop until it reaches the stop where it was called. However, it shouldn't speed the bus up itself or move it closer as making the bus TOO manipulable somewhat defeats the intended risk/reward choice-making that comes with waiting for the bus and going on without it.
    Good players will already not need the bus at all once they get Stamin-up either way, so it's not like you're adding onto the map by making the bus too controllable.
    I believe a good way to handle this would be by adding new bus stops at the designated areas, these bus stops have small machines on them that sell "bus tickets" so in any station you can spend points (Maybe 1000 starting points and it increases if you use multiple on the same round) in order to buy a ticket. This will make the bus begin moving immediately from where it's on the map and will force it to never stop until it reaches your destination, at which point you can enter the bus and the player who bought the ticket can then trade it in with TEDD in order to make the bus move immediately. This also adds another layer of choice and risk/reward as you not only need to put down points to control the bus, but you also could hold on to the ticket in order to make the bus move immediately some other time if needed.
    On the topic of the Jet gun:
    While I agree on having some form of upgrade quest, I don't think it should be "as-is" in its base form. What I'm hoping you meant in the video is that you will be improving the Jet gun's functionality while keeping its ammo and cooldown the same, that way you still can use its infinite damage much more effectively within its 6-ish seconds of fire. That way the upgrade just improves on those stats. It may also be interesting to build up on potential movement utility for the Jet gun, given the way it pulls you forwards as you use it.

    I am honestly begging you to change the bus formula. I aspire for a system like shadow of evils. Put in a button in each section of the map that will cost 500 points to call the bus, however in the bus, it will have a buttun that will travel you to the next destination for free, but will cost you 500 points to change it to the destination you want (I don't know if it should cost 500 points for each change or only once to change it to the exact one you want). Another method for dealing with the bus, is that you could make ot free to change destination, but will cost 500 it's to use it.

    Have you read the T6 beta GSC dump? There's a bunch of cut content like additional buildables (including mods for bus), ambush rounds, and bus calling.

    5:37 tbh the dull look on town only and farm is what made its charm for me back in the day felt like a realistic zombies apocalypse, and gave it a more mature look
    but also your town reimagined style is beautiful , maybe make two version idk but that will take extremely looooooong time
    so maybe when your done with this style make another style of that dull look 🤷‍♂ , would be really cool to see just my

    Personally I love the direction you guys are taking this game. Feels in line with how Treyarch approached their zombies chronicles maps artistically. I will say adding some sort of bus stop function of calling the bus as well as maybe adding the ability to skip a stop would go a looooong way of helping the map flow better. Also since we’re on the topic of flow, reworking the teleporters on the map would also be amazing. Thank you guys for what you’re doing in the community!
    EDIT: Are you guys planning on releasing the survival maps for your version of Green Run?

    I mean, some aspects of these maps definitely need some tweaking, (Jetgun, buildables, elevators, Who's Who, Tomblestone, Denizens, bus, pack-a-puch, etc.) but I don't think you should force them onto players, if they wanna have the OG experience keep that but also give us the choice to improve upon the old (I guess you can't do that with perks but I'm fine with it).
    Also, another contentious point is gobblegums. If you gonna do that please make it random and keep the gamebreaking ones out of the pool, we already have the bank and the fridge, OP gums are overkill. Or maybe do both idk... EE reward maybe?

    i think it would be cool if you extended the time the bus stops at each location by 30 seconds to a minute, since on bo2 you don’t have enough time to do everything at each location before the bus leaves. Or maybe use the bus pass to do that.

    As someone who’s had access to die rise since early access came out, it is kinda ridiculous imo that particular version hasn’t been released to the public yet. It’s done. People can wait for the Easter eggs to be added outside of that the map is done, playable, and polished
