Turn tractor around and pull from 3 point hitch. Your taking all the weight off your back tires using the bucket.
And/or use some beach gravel to make a road up into the woods.

Noticed that Lulu is wearing a Swedish Grundén's raincoat - that'll keep her dry all right.

Brian, that winch is great idea. I thought for a bit and think I am going to get a 6 foot grader blade ( 3 point hitch) , turn it facing away from the tractor and mount a 12,000 pound winch ( from harbor freight) on top of the pivot. Should pull blade down to bite in and keep tractor from being pulled. Gonna do it, Nothing but time to wait for it now

I traveled 78 miles in a snowstorm to get to Deshka Landing. Once in Deshka i got in the truck and traveled 37 miles to the Chainsaw store to buy a few replacement parts. Asked the guy 15 times " are these the correct parts " . Could you please double check. He sighed and did it. Traveled back to Deshka , got on the snow-machine and traveled 78 miles back on the river to our cabin. Wrong parts completely . Two days later went back and almost got arrested for nearly kicking the $hit out of this young punk behind the counter. Once the melee was over, i explained to the owner who just came in what the situation was. He used to live off-grid as well so he knows how important it is to get it right the first time. He chewed this kid a new ass. I completely understand your frustration with wrong parts.

Not trying to tell you what to do..........just trying to help figure something easier out? My dad had 2 long rails that ran into the water that the boat trailer would sit on and the other end ran into the boat house that had a winch. When he.came off the water he would drive onto the trailer and then winch the boat up on shore into the boathouse. I don't know if any of that would help you all out.......if it doesn't.....just ignore it......lol. I hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS...........GOD BLESS

@@AnAlaskaHomestead Dang, that sucks. I just about freeze to death just watching you two in that water. Could you contact the state and ask them maybe? That way maybe they would not tear it down. The boat house could be kind of a lean to type thing just to keep the snow off the boat. I just love your channel......Merry Christmas and Happy New year

Thanks Toni, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to contact them and see what they say.
Hope you and your family have a great Holiday season.
