Upper bar doesn't work Hi, I have the same box tx6s , in some programs like Cinema HD the controls on upper bar doesn't work with remote. are you guys experiencing such issue. I thought may be the firmware version has got the bug. if any body have it working then can you please let me know, what version of firmware you are running on. or if there is any fix for that. Most of your streaming APKs have a subtitle menu while playing a movie. Simply pause the video and the on-screen controls will appear. Navigate to the subtitle menu and turn it on. Most times it automatically selects the best subtitles for you, but you have the option to select a different subtitle feed if you are unsatisfied with the one that was automatically selected. Once you have selected your subtitle click the back button to return to the video. You will then see a subtitle pop-up indicating that subtitles has been activated then it will disappear. You should allow this for at least 1 to 2 seconds, then proceed to resume playing the video. You will now see subtitles appearing for that specific video. It will not remain on by default, you would have to enable it for each video that you play.

Thanks for the Info, I recently switched selling X96max + to Tanix because with the X96 models (or any model without an antenna) I seem to find that the box has a difficult time connecting to Wifis even when the signal is full/3bars, the internet doesn't flow in and streaming is impossible without lan cable, but with the Tanix it connects to the Wifis without issue but I do feel is slower. Is there a way to fix wifi issues on the x99max+?
It's either the ntework adapter is a low quality one, or a firmware update is needed. I however doubt an update would fix that issue. You are better off purchasing a new model.

Sounds defective or it could be overheating causing the CPU to freeze. pop off the bottom cover or put a fan on it. Allwinner CPUs are notorious overheaters.

amlogic s905x3 vs allwinner h616 ? It's there a big difference in preformence ? Like browsing watching videos ... Multi tasking or just a little Différence in gaming only ?
Yes there is and Amlogic S905X3 is better. Here's why. The Allwinner chipset has great potential, but in order for it to run at 1.8, 1.9, or even 2.0 GHz, they have to include a large enough heatsink on the CPU. This is something every manufacturer or attempt to produce and Allwinner model has failed to do. Instead of providing a large heatsink or a cooling fan of sorts, they choose to reduce the speed of the CPU to around 1.4 to 1.5 GHz that greatly reduces the processing speed of the box. Even at those low speeds there is still borderline overheating. This in turn affects the oral performance of the box not to mention the risk of the box suffering an early death. I recommend you stick to Amlogic if you want a solid performing TV box. RockChip has also declined in the past year but I see they are making a huge comeback very soon. So stay tuned for that.

@@tvboxstop thank you for the help.me - I gave up trying to install navigation buttons but I got a problem with TX6S - and needed solve on the Android virtual keyboard AOSP. problem - It didn't disappear ( not showed) when I click to open , but when i click to open, the area of keyboard open , in the middle of the screen ( normal position) where the letters and numbers should it show , it have this area is shaded in transparency and clicking on it does not activate any character input. Will there be a way for this AOSP Android keyboard (System APK - I have already cleaned cache and data), to be erased and installed again, the original or updated by Google services... without having to do a Factory Reset??? tks
There are some firmwares that gives you a hard time with the virtual keyboard especially when you connect a PC mouse, or a wireless air-mouse. When you connect them the virtual keyboard disables and the only way you can get it to work is by disconnecting whatever mouse pointer controller you have connected to the box. No matter what settings you adjust it will not work with it plugged in. If this is not the case in your situation then under the languages and input settings open the physical keyboard settings and enable virtual keyboard.

lol indeed. Before optical audio was a thing receiver and some players had this spdif jack. It wasn't pure analog and you had to use and adapter to convert it to get audio. I still don't know why they call optical audio SPDIF.

Correct it's digital and you can get Dolby Atmos and DTS audio, but still not as good as HDMI passthrough as it cannot produce DTS-X, HD MA, or True HD

There is the nothing I can recommend other than using a LAN connection, as it appears that the Wi-Fi component seem to be underperforming due to a defect of some kind. My advice is to replace that box with an Amlogic TV box.
piece of crap this tanix android boxes. scamming people with false information, but nothing works like they stated. These boxes are just stuffed with smartphone harware from 2012, and overclocked, the damn thing is so slow. 4k 24HZ? stutter RUclips 4k? not even showing up. Programs shutting down. you buy a 32gb mem version, what32 gb version? programs close because of memory issues. etc etc.

Yes it has single band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. What the app is showing is the Wi-Fi symbol is the 2.4GHz test, and the head symbol is the LAN port test.

Recently bought tanix tx6s 4gram 32 GB storage processor allwiner h616..this device comes with many problems I have tried to contact the company in all possible ways to have if they had released any firmware or OTA to solve this ... but I have no answer .. the truth is very disappointed with them..I don't know if you are aware of this ... but we are many with this problem if you know of any OTA flash solution. firmware or whatever..I would like you to share it with me..thank you for your work always by your side. greetings from Spain.
In this folder you have everything you need OTA zip, IMG, and Flash tool if needed. Put the OTA zip file as is on a flash drive and update the box. the Update is Android 10 - mega.nz/folder/X3IESI5J#hsgz1gkveV3aQ98cXG7_jw

The SPDIF output is audio digital output, not analogic!
Correct it's digital and you can get Dolby Atmos and DTS audio, but still not as good as HDMI passthrough as it cannot produce DTS-X, HD MA, or True HD

Hello! I accidentally uninstalled netflix..how do i reinstall it?
Simply install APKpure or Aptoide and install the latest version of RUclips. Also the mobile version on the Play Store now plays in 4K with HDR also

There is no video for it.
1. Open Chrome browser
2. Search for APKpure
3. Open first link
4. On Apkpure page download apk
5. Watch for download to complete and click open when it pops up. If not open File Explorer and open the downloads folder and you will see the APkpure APK install it.
6. Once installed Open APKpure and on the search tab type RUclips. From the results install the first RUclips app.
7. Open RUclips login with your Google account if you have one.

@@tvboxstop maybe if you don't mind add tv box capability about auto refresh rate switch or Adjust display refresh rate (in Kodi) I knew LG and Sony capable handling 24p video but not every box can handle it (LG Real Cinema)

The TX6s is better and it has much better performance than the Mi Box S. The Mi Box S is however fully Google certified to play Netflix in HD/4K

This has got to be the worst android tv box I have ever used it is so buggy and slow it's terrible
This box was launched 4 years ago when Allwinner was first on the scene and this chipset has always been problematic.

Garbage.... my tx6 runs at 10mbps even when all my other devices are getting over 100mbps on wifi

There is the nothing I can recommend other than using a LAN connection, as it appears that the Wi-Fi component seem to be underperforming due to a defect of some kind. My advice is to replace that box with an Amlogic TV box.
