Thank you to Akcelerace Videoblogy for pointing out with the 2017 software update allows to charge up to 90% whilst driving in Save Battery mode...
Once put in Max eDrive then you are able to drive it till 120km/h. In Auto it switches to ICE in 80 km/h. However, driving in eDrive at that speed seriously affects your battery consumption.
Hi Tech4 we do not know as we are not currently running one but we can say that for a Golf GTE it is approx 40-45mpg when driven carefully. Thanks

Alanthecat - Thank you for your comment, it is only a negative in comparison to the other manufacturers who allow more charge, but yes is not a negative for certain drivers
Switching to a Sport or Sport+ mode and get up to 80% of charge. Also 2017 software update allows to charge up to 90% whilst driving in Save Battery mode...

BMW claimed fuel consumption by 330e is a con. 330d performs the same fuel efficiency or better.
Not as clean and good luck getting the 330d on lease for as cheap as the hybrid.
50 % whilst driving is a silly negative , pointless unless you are driving onto london.....?
You could have reversed in to charge..
