Walmart corporate policy is if its a debit card, they will give cash back. The funds are immediately debited via debit card, they can give cash back on a refund.

No. I work there. Depending on the card you can either get cash, a gift card or the card you paid with. If they only have the option of a card or a gift card there is nothing they can do.
