Making a Templar Iron Man Gorget

- Go to protect the throat of my Knights Templar Iron Man mashup with a one-of-a-kind gorget. It also gives me something to attach my pauldrons from a previous video. In this video I show you how I made my custom Templar shield out of 6 mm, 4 mm, and 2mm EVA (specifically What The Foam from Cosplay Apprentice), Foam Armory's EVA foam scale mail, Velcro, a small piece of acrylic, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, spray paint, shoe polish, rub-n-buff, and some Plaid FX acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools: a heat gun, a Dremel with various bits, a wood burner, a laser cutter, and a Xacto knife or box cutter. Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see more like this one, from shows, video games, or whatever. Please smack that like button, dropkick subscribe, and share with as many people as possible.

Absolutely amazing, you are so inspiring. I am starting my own cosplay/prop making channel because you have shown it’s possible to do this while having a full time job. Thank you for be so consistent. Can’t wait to see this full build done!
Thanks so much. I will admit it was rough starting out and can still be very stressful at times. Most don't understand the crazy amount of time that goes into each build. so much fun though. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
This is just insanely awesome! The details really make this piece stand out. If they replaced Jarvis in the Ironman films with you Ironmans armour would have been soooo much cooler! I bow to thee good sir for thou art a master of the foam!
Thanks. How cool would a Knights templar superhero mashup movie be?
@@MuchProps would be the best film ever!
It is really cool to watch your talents continue to grow. Every project blows me away.
Thanks. It grows because of awesome people continuing to positively reinforce what I do.
To be fair I always kinda wanted them to do a time traveling episode of the old iron man series and have them make a knight iron man
This is so awesome
I thought it would be epic for a group of people to medieval-ify modern super heroes for a con.
The engraved details look insanely good on this once they've been hit with the Rub N Buff and weathering. I've made a few pieces before but you've inspired me to make more things with foam engraving. This costume is amazing!
It's starting to really come together. Can't wait to get the full build finished
I don´t have words for that ! only one SUPER AMAIZING!
😁👊 thanks
This is coming together quite awesomely.
Thanks.
The details are killer, outstanding my friend!
Thanks. We need to bring back gorgets. Such a cool way to protect your throat 😆
Awesome just awesome
Thank you sir.
wow! every piece you make is gorgeous and compliments each other. this is one of my favorite builds on youtube right now.
😁 I am getting more and more excited with every piece added. My surcoat came in this week and I am so pumped. It's gonna be legit
It's going to be epic when it's done.
Agreed. I can't stop looking at this gorget. So cool
The ornate details came out really beautiful!
Thank you so much! It was fun to mix them in with the build.
Bloody he'll that's good, can't wait to see the finished outfit. If I was you I would have kept the templates for myself, it's a unique cosplay and I'd want to be the only one to make and wear it
I like to share 😆. Maybe if enough people get behind this, Marvel will do an epic movie of superheroes in medieval times.
Knights + Superheroes = awesome
Man, its a relatively simple piece (aside from the laser cut pieces), but wow is it incredible. I'm definitely inspired to start an armor myself with a gorget being my starting point. Phenomenal work! Truly inspiring!
Thanks. Getting it to fit just right was a little tricky but I am digging this series.
Man, you are so talented. This build is great! 👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
Brilliant build. Those detail pieces are amazing.
Thanks. They turned out pretty cool
this is wicked ....great build ...love the detail ...awesome work
Thanks a bunch! Way better than I thought is would end up going into it.
Great work this build is shaping up nicely👊🏻🤘🏻
Thanks 👍 I'm really digging it. Getting more epic with every build.

Thanks for the tutorial and the template. I'm making some foam armor for my church's saint costume competition.
Super cool. Let me know how it goes.
This is perfect! Exactly what I was searching for, thank you!!!
So glad! If you build it, let me know how it goes.
I'm working the armor also, I can't wait this template, this Knight Templar Iron Man mashup Armor is getting epic, I can't wait for next build and template.
Awesome, would love to see your progress. I will get the template out soon. It's a couple extra hours to put together. I'm thinking sleeves may be next or maybe the sword.
@@MuchProps Arc-Reactor Medieval Sword sounds very cool, I can't wait to see that build
@@limitbreakarts7 oh I have some cool ideas for the sword.
Super item, excellent :)
