    The thing I love about Daniil's press conferences is that none of his responses sound pre-prepared or generic. He really takes time to discuss his answer with a lot of insight, and throw his personality into it at the same time.

      Most of the other players are media trained and told how to answer everything in a safe way. Daniil and also Novak are a lot more genuine in interviews.

    I love Medvedev's self-awareness. He is one of the most honest players in press conferences. He can be abrasive on-court, but he is really enjoyable to watch in these types of interviews. Carlos remains his typical genuine self in his interviews.

      Yes, he is the most French of Russian players. Very similar attitude to Gael, Arthir Cazaux, etc. The French are always so genuine and authentic and considerate. Except Benoit Paire. 😂😂

      @@vvolfy11 Verdaderamente siempre que uno exprese lo que piensa de si mismo y a lo que le gustaría llegar como meta, merece todo el respeto por ser sincero. Carlos Alcaraz siempre ha dicho lo que piensa y hasta ahora eso se ha valorado como algo positivo, lo que ocurre es que los medios y las marcas publicitan lo que les interesa. Intentar ser el mejor de todos los tiempos lo dirá el tiempo y el desearlo puede ser la motivación para llegar a esa meta. Enhorabuena por esta actuación artística de tenis y ojalá tengas muchas mas a lo largo de tu carrera Carlitos.

    I'm not sure WHY haters criticized him after Wimbledon.
    Top tennis players are human, too, and Alcaraz is only 20 years old and still learning the trade.
    Even if he hasn't won a title after a significant win, so what?
    People expect him to win in every tournament he enters, which is ridiculous.

    Gotta appreciate this guy. Wants to win, he is quality but there are a couple of guys that are in most occasions better than him and he just takes on the chin and keeps moving forward. Fair play to him really. 👏 👏 👏
    His emotions sometimes get the better of him but we are only human and every time he does acknowledge when he was in the wrong. For that he is a good sport and worthy of being up there in tennis.

    Love Medvedev’s game review /analysis. He brings humor and humility to his post match interviews. It’s interesting how he went inside his head to share as to why he couldn’t get any further along in the second set. Looking forward to seeing their next match - maybe Miami ..

    Medvedev is so good at these interviews. He is a great conversationalist & very pleasant to talk to. Very different from a lot of the old tennis interviews which I appreciate. A lot of players try not to say too much bc they don’t want to reveal any weaknesses or their strategies or plans, but Medvedev dgaf. He’s honest and I’m not sure if he lays it all on the table or just smart enough not to reveal the important things.

      Russia has produced great players in the last 20-30 years. Kafelnikov, Safin and now Medvedev and to a lesser extent Rublev. Great personalities also (funny guys except for Kafelnikov perhaps). But yes, Alcaraz seems from another planet.

    I loved these two interviews. Love both these guys and their on and off court excellence.But I must say some mysterious happenings when Carlos is around..The bees as he says, the emergency announcement and lets not forget the down pour of rain. LOL😆

    Love the honesty and clarity from Medvedev. You can tell he’s really matured as a player.

    Medvedev was ranked second in Turin race, as he is runner-up in both AO and IW, SF in Dubai, he missed the opportunities to get the trophy cause his serve has been worsen in the past few months, but still found a way to beat so many tough opponents. I hope he can have an easier draw and better first serve in Miami and the upcoming clay season. In general, he has improved a lot mentally, there was some spicy moments but he kept his promise of not complaining about the court 🤣

      I don’t think Meddy is really good at the surface of Indian wells. He’s gonna have a really good shot at US open this year cause he is genuinely playing so well. Alcaraz is gonna enjoy the next 3-4 months with clay and grass season, he’s great on both surfaces.

    Nice to hear from Carlos that he enjoys doing the crazzy shots, just to entertain people and because he loves it, despite sometimes losing the point.
    I hope he stops doing in crucial moments that's put him in trouble, but playing is about enjoying the game and that's why it is so exciting and refreshing to watch him play.
    And you do brought people to watch tennis again or watch it for 1st time.

    Yeah love alcaraz and definitely feel for Medvedev. It would be cool to see Medvedev take it to a level that beats the young bucks like alcaraz and sinner at their best. That would be so impressive.

      So they’ve played 10 times and Medvedev has won 6 but I believe Sinner has gotten the best of him in the most recent matches they’ve had. Either way would be very happy for Medvedev even though I love these young bucks. They just have more time and I appreciate Medvedev attitude just as much as I do these youngins.

    Tennis players seriously need to be mentally strong, I watch players gets meltdown and lose the game completely. Carlos talk about being mentally strong a lot and that’s why he is that good.
