Love how Rublev aims to keep these PCs entertaining 😄 But also appreciated his input on the more serious topics, like how the ATP is gonna sort out their glaring issues with schedules & tennis balls🤞🏼
Bro! They answered questions like a group high schooler giving a class presentation. This interview is pretty different from the other group's demeanor. 🤭🤷♂️
Respect is mandatory but to be one of the great, you need to be a shark. It's a war, there are no friends in war. MJ, Tiger, Sampras, were very lonely guys....
I like the young tennis players, they are so relaxed and friendly with each other, the tension that is in the tennis court should stay there, out of the courts should be friendly and relaxed, good luck to you all, let the best player win🏆 🎉😊
Carlos, Alex and Andrey are like the children here and Danil is like their father 😂 we are just missing the other children and their other father Novak 🤣
The conference should be serious. The freaking winner takes home $4 million dollars and a shit ton on points. There are no small competitors in this event. You must hit the ground running on day one. They're literally playing for the biggest check of the season 🤑
Last year Djokovic made $4.74M undefeated. This years undefeated champion will make $4.8m, one rr match win is $390k. Title winner could lose 1 or 2 rr matches.
I hate that they brought up the Olympics with 2 Russian players on the panel. I'm sure they're sad that they can't represent Russia and play under their country's flag. That topic shouldn't have come up. 😬
@t3nnis101 Representation matters a lot to Rublev & Medii. Before the war thing happened, those two players would talk about their country in nearly all their press conferences. "Mother Russia" was a phrase they used often before the Ukrainian war.
@@LondonHasFallin Rublev is respectful in general.. but I've supported him for about 6 years now & iirc he's never used the words 'Mother Russia' in any of his English-language interviews during that time (if, however, that terminology is translated that way in Russian interviews, that's a specific reference for the native-language audience). I haven't supported Medvedev for that long tho, so I can't comment on anything he has said in the past.
Unlike the bitter rivalry of the past, it is quiet refreshing to see the bonhomie of the current generation of players who are so jovial off court. That genius jibe by Sacha for Rublev was taken with such gentlemanly humour. All the very best to the players. May the best win. Expecting an intense fantastic tournament with all its chills and thrills.
weak generation. Sport is suposed to be war. That's why Novak took the upper hand over his rival. He couldnt be friend to Roger or Rafa. Nice guy dont end at the top. Ask Monfils, the nicest guy on tour.....

These reporters need to be more clearer, out of every guy here obviously Carlos is gonna understand the least not to mention it would of been hard for him to answer.. 🙄🤣
I like these guys a lot, but imho these group press conferences are stupid. First and foremost they are competitors. Media tries to portray them as best friends, which they aren't. Of course, Meddy and Andrey actually are good friends, but that doesn't mean all of them are. When you listen to Nole's interview you notice, he's nice to them, but it's clear that his goal is to beat them all! No need for artificial roses when they compete about serious points, legacy and money.
There's nothing artificial about their good relationships. It is quite possible to be friends/friendly off court. Rublev is godfather to Medvedev's daughter...have you ever seen them play together on court? You couldn't get more competitive. Rublev and Zverev are close too as is Alcaraz and Sinner. They grew up together, have so much in common, spend most of the year touring together (and no time to have other friends) so it's not surprising that some good relationships exist between them. So many of the female Russian players are great friends although remain competitive on court. None of its false. Djokovic just doesn't have many friends (or choses not to be friendly) with them but that doesn't mean the other friendships are false
I don't know why but Medvedev and Rublev always make me laugh😂 such a charismatic guys all of them hahaha 😂
Rublev is hilarious as always, its good to see them all relaxed enjoying themselves.

To be honest, I think for them the more important thing is just to know that they would be allowed to play, regardless of representation
