- I know it's been a long time since I have uploaded a video. I had hit a creators block and couldn't come up with an idea for a video. However by watching random YT videos I came across chess players, and thought why not build a chess table. So here we are with part 1, where I will make the table top. Enjoy!

Good to see you posting videos again. Glad you are back.
Haven’t seen you for awhile, glad your still alive and kicking.
Glad to see you back.
Didn’t you once make a set of chess pieces?
How about an up date on the pond, I don’t know if I ever saw it full.
Great to see you back Cy, I was almost thinking I'd been missing your content. Hope your well.
I did go through a bit of a medical scare. But am now on the up side. It ain't over but I am doing better.
@@DIYwithUncleCy Glad you getting that sorted, and on track. You look good in the video, but that never tells the full story.

Nice work Cy. I do not have a drum sander, I was surprised at how many times you sanded the board with drum sander. Do you have to worry about getting too thin or uneven?.
I had 150 grit on it so it only removes about 1/128th of an inch each pass.
It only gets un even if I have the belt too high and therefore create a slippage on the drive belt.
