- Genshin Impact's lore is very deep. And many characters have future lore potential. And among them... Lisa, Kaeya and Albedo are the most blatant. Albedo got his covered in the 2 dragonspine events. So today I'm bringing you voice lines that explore the lore potential of Lisa and Kaeya.

Mihoyo basically created Kaeya, an endgame character with the biggest amount of lore and plot relevance to the story and decided to make him a starter character knowing that he would be underestimated and not acknowledged by the majority.
Mihoyo actually big brain ngl.

you're not wrong. Starts with Monstadth, ends with Monstadth. As a newer player and lore enthusiast, his background is the biggest mystery to me. The voicelines is leaving clues
I really like that plot twist. I think they have some really great writers. I also think Lisa is a sleeper hit.
I think Kaeya will become more relevant than Traveller at the end of the game. More of a protagonist.

Kaeya has moved from being an abyss mage to an abyss lector
I have a solid theory that before getting a vision, he had training to become a Lector as reflected by the Ceremonial bladework and his constellations. And when he got the vision on the big argument with Diluc, he could quickly adapt to the new elemental powers because he had learnt previously how to use the elements.
But I think his decision is already made, thr moment he got a vision is because he rejected the Abbys. That is my take thought.
Uhm dude. That's not how mages and heralds are made. They are the original royal guards and nobles who celestia punished and turned them like that. Keaya is a descendant from the royal family because they were the only ones spared from the curse and he has to carry on their legacy just like how the rest before him did from 500 years ago.
@@itz_andi9691 spared? I don’t think kaeya was spared at all, Dainsleif says something along the lines of ‘royals, nobles, common folk, rank didn’t matter. All that mattered (to celestia?) was that you were from Khaenriah’ or something of that ilk in regards to the curse.
Like Dainsleif, kaeya is still cursed, however there’s something the two have that stops them from transforming in the way the other Khaenriahns have, it may be a stretch but I think it has to do with the eyepatch

One of the reasons why Mondstadt lore is one of my favorites, Many people are so carefree and nice but lies a hidden exterior deep within. And so many of them are sus for example:
Venti- for a god of freedom, he sure is binded by invisible chains holding him back from telling the truth.
Diluc- What do we know of his hidden adventures and rebellion against the fatui? Where did he go from past years?
Rosaria- knows something and was an assasin, She is also perceptive of many
Kaeya- need i say more?
Alice- The infamous traveler who lurks into the shadows and has made great discoveries, currently on the verge into the unknown. God knows what dangerous travels she could be right now?
Grandmaster Varka- The head of the knights and a powerful one that catches the 11th Harbinger's attention, What sort of "expedition" is he holding?
Albedo- He is studying the "truth" his master left him, but even up to this day he hasn't solved it. What could it be?
Lisa- Said to be the greatest student of Sumeru academia for 200 years but left because she knows too much, Afraid of what lies beyond her knowledge she left. What does Lisa know anyway?
Really excited to how Mondstadt story is going to unpack, so many of them are hidden in artifacts, weapons, books and voicelines that have not yet been shown in the story.
( Also just noticed why kaeya looks so different.... he's not smiling )

This kinda makes me think that mihoyo has some sort of 5star Lisa or 5 star Kaeya in the future. Same element but different movesets and maybe even different weapon. And an updated look too

Genshin wise I’m not sure, but I think if were to happen it would be similar to that of a augment core or awakened battlesuit from honkai. (Augment core like you get a special item to use to upgrade a unique part of them that could possibly change their whole play style and unlock a skin, yet technically keeping the same character, weapon, artifacts etc. Awakened would be a separate character altogether but would upgrade talents and character lvl to them same as the basic one yet having to have double the weapon, double the artifacts and never in the same party.) personally the core version of this makes more sense. Sorry for the essay.

Kaeya is literally the only reason I started playing this game.
He's just so INTERESTING.
And while I like getting new characters and whatnot I can't help but hope that Mondstadt becomes more important again because it IS where everything started.
it would considering we are yet to meet verka, Alice and also that Albedo has a mystery behind his otherwise calm demeanor it's obvious they would be covered later
So there is a possibility of having Purple Witch of Rose artifact that would give a huge buff for electro characters since Pyro is currently enjoying Crimson Witch of Flames as their best slot artifact and not to mention that Lisa being able to equip it would be equal to having her old powers back
I really like this concept, ahnd it makes me think of how that will affect the functionality of the game. Lisa is pretty much the weaker electro character you get at the beginning of the game, but if an artifact set that makes her uber strong becomes available, she could then suddenly become one of the best electro characters, but you'd have to play through the game a good bit to even access the domain to farm the artifacts to unlock said potential.
I diyg this 'cuz it doesn't change her dynamic in the beginning of being a starter character, but gives her potential that you can later unlock via her artifact set.
What if the Purple Witch of Rose artifact comes out with Sumeru?

the people of mond are just so happy and carefree, but beneath their smiles lies their dark / deep pasts. kaeya, diluc, venti, rosa, lisa, albedo and more. the mond characters are the best in my opinion...kaeya, venti and diluc are my favourites in the game.
This is what I like about Mondstadt characters, they have the most depth. Inazuma characters are mainly “Oh I’m the archon I do archon things!” Or “I’m a military leader I do military things!” Their plot is well seen, unlike those of Liyue and Mondstadt. Don’t get me wrong, I love inazuma but the characters’ stories are all too clear and less exciting and mysterious.
Hmm I'd say some Liyue characters plot are also well seen, but they have deep backstories which is a plus.
Though Inazuma still has "sus" characters like Ayato or Yae
@Ani true, their stories are not executed too well. That time we got a lore-heavy story from Inazuma (or rather, Enkanomiya), none of the characters are involved (except Kokomi, even then she only appeared in the 2.5 event)
Hmm, I feel ya I think, but I am noticing I also like how there is a contrast made between the different nations character lore that accentuates the differences in each's culture.
Mondstadt is now a carefree place, but has lots of dark history that is trying to be moved on from, thus the people will naturally have more secrets. Inazuma was just steeped in very straightforward conflict/civil war, thus the characters rolls are generally more straightforward as well, as a resolution to the conflicts on a grand level were needed to be found multiple times for the country.
There is plenty nuance to note too, but in general I find this contrast to be more an acknowledgement of difference in cultures/nations and the struggles each one faces, and the kinds of characters said struggles bring forth.
Mondasf has the most sus characters despite being the begginer area
Yeah, inazumas characters have a flaw of not being future proof. Like even if they’re the most lovable character, take Itto for example, they still hold no real role in the major story
I know some people say that Kaeya is abyss mage but tbh he is more of a mix of an abyss mage and lector on the fact abyss mage is already a dead give away the fur and ult but abyss lector their shields works the same way as his C4 when their HP is low thats when the shield pops up. I swear I feel he will be a boss in the future
it's like Hoyoverse is dangling a piece of food in front of us and that piece of food is called Lore it keeps getting farther away and more confusing, but the hunger for more is inevitable so we dive down deeper searching for answers, but there will always be more questions left behind. Such as these two.
They're really good at making me always crave for more lore!

From the influx of mysteries regarding mond charachters, no wonder it's the starting point, makes me think whatever huge event that will turn the story upside down is taking place in mond. Not to mention, the fact we met dain in mond of all places, the eye of the first field tiller being there, the defiled statue and how so much of the abyss plans seem to centre around mond is no coincidence

in one of the interviews with the devs it's already revealed lisa has a great fewer years left to live due to the knowledge she obtained while in sumeru.
Iirc, she touched a cursed tome that pretty much exchanged a lot of her life expectancy for said knowledge, i always considered that her lazyness is kinda like a terminal patient trying to enjoy the rest of their fewer years aliven, but we dont know how much knowledge nor time were present in said exchange so yeah

It gets on my nerves when people only focus on diluc. Why? BECAUSE HE IS A 5 STAR CHARACTER. Also, because his story takes place in the manga. Kaeya is not a worthless character just because he is a starting character and free. You know that he is not from teyvat and is using the power of teyvat. And we only know it that way in the game. We'll never know what's behind the lies, his real power, his real identity until he says it.
Kaeya is also important in the manga.

They don’t hide because they literally don’t appear in the game as much as others since they are only in the beginning, and some event and sometimes Kaeya is just mentioned or barely appeared. So in conclusion they don’t have to hide much since you need to read the manga to get clear understanding.
And Mona does have a point on Lisa’s part

Kaeya and Lisa are both mysterious so of course Kaeya’s past will come to him. But more importantly do people actually understand what Mona means on Lisa’s part. Having the words like “life” or “die” doesn’t mean anything (and people keep forgetting that dying is natural but even without mentioning that “life” and “death” doesn’t matter when everything Mona says is poetic because she’s an astrologist.

@@Totigno It was only that ONE INTERVIEW that happened very early on. Clearly a lot has changed since then. And there has been ZERO MENTION of any of this stuff in game as of now. So it is not canon until they actually implement it in the game. Things might be subject to change.
