- Genshin Impact Characters have many different types of voice lines from every single character. Today I am picking some deep vision lore related ones and making them into video format for your enjoyment.

Vision's chinese and Japanese name means "Eye of God"
Now with that information, 0:33 feels a bit different....
It seems Mona got her vision from a human rather than it just appearing out of thin air. She and Ningguang are the only 2 characters to be actively using visions that are not originally theirs.
Mona is the hydro archon CONFIRMED
Well technically, Kazuha used a vision belonging to his fallen friend at one point, if only for a moment.

Mona's master probably gave her a masterless vision which manifested as a hydro one. Just like ningguang had one that then shone
Zhongli's voiceline got my attention. For someone that has been living for millenia, it surprised that he didn't know how a Vision works --- he only sees them as form of contract. But then again, with Raiden's dialogue about how Visions are spread, it proves that Archons never had the ability to bestow those powers to anyone.
Also in an unreleased voiceline of his, Zhongli states how long it has been since he was last in Celestia. Almost like he missed it.
And for you to miss something you need to either be close to it or gives you a very good feeling.
So, he knows exactly who in Celestia gives visions and how while Ei or any other Archon seem to be in the dark about it.
EI says she can't tell you whole story about Visions. So Zhongli most likely as part of contract with Celestia can't tell you
@@ellierosewood1341 You mean the CBT version, as far I am concerned that voice line is not longer canon for me. Perhaps they removed because it would make no sense, since Venti made a negative, while Zhongli is positive.

I disagree. Taking account his voiceline, I would say he was ignorant or he didn't know about Visions's functions. So is not like he can't tell us, is more like, he didn't know, or didn't think about too much until the Traveller has mentioned about it.

The celestia gods gave lisa a curse, a curse that curses lisa with a limited amount of time she can live. In her constellation is a shape and drawing of time sands which refers to the fact that she has only a small amount of time ( we may see her die in her next story quest ) This could also refer to the fact that the constellation is the character's future.

Zhongli's voiceline "So back then, they were aware of this as they stood beside me." seems to be connected with Ei's voiceline "the key is people's ambitions and-- well there's another side to it too." So are these voicelines hinting that there's a secret about Visions that Zhongli doesn't know of, while the rest of the archons do... Hmm thinking about it now Venti DID say something about Zhongli being an 'old blockhead' meaning Zhongli used to be oblivious/clueless
I dont think that the case, he does know but he was surprised that the others that stood beside him knew as well

I suspect that having a strong desire is only half the requirements.
The other half is based on their beliefs. Each element represents something, and if your belief aligns with the said element, you then receive one.

Silver that's bs though. Kazuha had his vision before his friend died and his clan was already lost as the iridori festival tells us. also sayu does not fit into the same narrative that you claimed so with all those points your opinion is bullshit and doesn't make any sense.
When Rosaria and Raiden implied the 2 sides of the coin, I'm thinking the other requirement is based on the god's favor. You can have a strong will, desire, and belief like Teppei, but never get a vision in the end.
If the gods don't like you due to arbitrary parameters, you're never bound to get one. I mean, Klee has a vision lmao the gods probably like her a lot even though she barely possesses a resistant will/desire/attitude.
Mona's lines are always sus, while Lisa's lines sometimess point to something grim. Oh.... Mona Lisa.... Cool...
Are we really all going to over look the fact that some one GAVE Mona her vision. People can’t usually use other peoples visions just look at how long it took Kazuha to use his friend’s vision and he only pulled that off once. So who ever gave Mona her vision was probably the actual distributor
Ningguang's vision is also not hers originally. She wanted to sell a dead vision. But it activated upon her touch. So she had to keep it.
That makes me wonder if visions may be a finite resource in the world as opposed to them being created and distributed on command. It seems like for various reasons a vision may be given to someone but it also seems like it was in someone's possession to give. Maybe visions are both made and passed along to some extent? Like Celestia can make them but they don't usually make them all that often and that sometimes a vision can be given to someone by someone else and activate or reactivate for them.
I feel like visions are gonna be a key component in solving the mysteries of Celestia alongside the Archons, the tragedy of Khaenriahh, the main characters twin and the nameless God from the beginning.
I wouldn’t say that she was the actual distributor. Remember visions always have the possibility of long outliving their masters. So when a visions master does in fact leave the mortal plane, the only thing left is a husk. However just because it’s a husk now doesn’t mean that it didn’t have divine origins. For one to activate again, they probably need to be in possession of someone who has a similar enough ambition to the original owner, or the element itself. However rn we only have kazuhas cutscene to go off of so a lot can only be speculated until we get more info.
@@typh2630 that's true. During the tournament arc with a prize of a masterless vision. The thief didn't activate it even though kazuha did push him to his desperation to live. It's simply not the vision's ambition.
The visions are still quite suspicious seeing as how being deprived of them causes a former wielder to lose their sense of ambition, essentially losing a part of themselves in the process. There is conspiracy at work here.
it’s worth noting that Mona’s vision was a “dead” mondstadt vision given to her by her master. she carried it around for a while until one day it lit up. neither of them seemed to hold any reverence for it, and like she said, she never needed her vision for her hydromancy. Albedo also sees his vision as nothing more than a tool + a mystery to solve
Same happened to Ningguang!
From what I have perceived:
People who’s ambition is connected to their passion = Pyro
People who’s ambition is connected to their hopes = Anemo
People who’s ambition derives from their ideals = Electro
People who’s ambition derives from their past (but no specific goal) = Cryo
People who’s ambition is directly connected to their dedication = Geo
And I’m not sure about Hydro as much. I used to think that it was from wanting to do something other than what they were currently doing, but that wasn’t the case.
So people whose ambition is connected to thier wisdom = Dendro ?
I think for hydro it might be truth as we can see most hydro users are determined to find the truth and most like justice
After reading chiori how she got her vision sir you ACTUALLY might be on to something what do you think now after a year
The Vision hunt decree did show us that there’s a way of separating a person from the Vision such that they lose their ambition, leading to some losing their minds.
It isn’t a physical separation, because Diluc was confirmed to have thrown his Vision away in lore, but wasn’t consumed by insanity. (And to think Diluc by right was using a Pyro Delusion, but for game purposes Diluc is presented with his Vision)
I do feel that the Vision is literally tagged upon a part of the person’s soul, in particular their mind.
Whatever Ei did while having to physically seize the Visions to be placed in the Statue of the Omnipresent God, was able to separate this invisible connection. Because as seen with Diluc, physical separation isn’t enough to make a person lose their ambition and lose their sanity.
Maybe it depends on whether it’s voluntary or not?
If you decide to leave it aside or get rid of it, then it doesn’t affect you but if it’s taken by force, then it does take a toll on you?
Diluc has his vision again. he left mondstadt and his vision and ran around teyvat w Crepus’s delusion again for two years after he and Kaeya fought. during that time Kaeya held onto it and gave it back to him when he returned. we see the delusion in the webtoon and it doesn’t appear to be pyro (or any other element) so he probably uses both (or maybe he stopped using the delusion unless necessary.. from what i remember, the way he spoke in the webtoon made it sound like that’s the case, but i haven’t read it in a while)
Itto also lost his vision too and was fine after that... Ummm so many questions

@@asahi7407 "Sora" means "sky" so Anemo would be fitting. "Riku" means "land" and "Kairi" means "sea" so Geo and Hydro Visions respectively would also be fitting. And for Ventus, Terra, and Aqua, it would be the same too.

I always see visions as tracking systems. The eyes of celestia
Visions, in short literally show the hierarchy of Gods and how they work. They also show how Archons of a particular element and the element itself are entirely different.
arn't you forgetting venti's voiceline that says, anyone who wields a vision can go to celestia (he tells you this after his gnosis is taken when you meet him under the tree)
Anyone that wields a vision has a CHANCE to go to celestia. Even if you have a vision, you need to make yourself worthy to enter celestia.

My theory is If a vision wielder dies or loses their goal their vision goes gray but if someone has the same goal or ambition to the original wielder it will be re lit
You know whats weird is how common folk believe that Visions are gods gift and yet the actual gods are not too sure about them or are hiding what they know. This explanation of it being a gift must come from somewhere or started by someone, and it sure isnt from the gods or what they said. I have a rough theory that visions are indirectly caused by the gods. I think that if a certain person has such a strong will/ambition that aligns/resonates with a certain god and their backstory, elemental energy is awakened and accrued to form or awaken a vision, without the god even being aware.
What if by what Ei means by “another side to it too”, is that it’s not a voluntary action? If we think about it, electro visions haven’t been given out for only a year, and the vision hunt is 1 year old by the time we get there. The gods could have a supernatural power where they get “visions” of people and their “ambitions” from time to time. But Ei has been meditating inside the plane of euthymia for a long time now. To prevent the effects of erosion, we know from miko that Ei has in fact been meditating in the sword, so does that somehow take away and preoccupy her mind from any involuntary actions, because while meditating she has to be fully aware of everything she is doing and thinking to combat erosion. Whenever the game mentions visions, its always made to sound like a god took a “glance” at someone (I’m sure we’ve all accidentally looked at someone before, ie involuntarily), which is made more evident by the way they’re further described “when a god casts their gaze upon you” etc.
There’s a lot of holes in this theory but I haven’t seen it anywhere else and I’d love peoples thoughts on it.

I think the gods of celestia are the ones that grant the empty shells and what element it will represent depends on people desires and ambitons, each element represents a god and their believes if someone fits them, the element appears. Kazuha’s dead friend vision became empty when he died but when kazuha wore it his friend ambitons defeated death and were able to light the vision once more i think after getting a vision a part of human soul get attached to it( in the archon quest in the plane of ethymia traveler can hear ppl voices and their ambitions even tho they werent physicaly attached to their owners) for one year no new electro visions appeard, maybe because a god must be present mentaly in the human world? But since Ei locked her mind in the plane of ethymia she couldn’t hear people’s wishes and grant the electro visions, it checks out because as she said its not in her powers that visions are granted or denied( as already celestial god decide if somebody receives one) but the element does depend on archons even if they are not aware of every person wishes but rather archons consciousness is focused on the humans ( when ei was meditating in the POE she locked her mind from the outside world, yes she was aware what was happening outside but locked her mind from „hearing” people’s desires) and it checks out with „and there is another side to it too”. Zhongli voiceline is very sus and i have no idea what is he talking about.

dainslef's (how do you even spell his name) voice line implies that even tho gods are all-powerful and don't need them, visions are still something valuable
I can do a whole mfing deep dive into possible implications these voice lines give us

Is it possible that visions uses strong ambitions as a source of strength to manipulate the elements or is it celestia that draws strength from people's ambitions through the visions in return for being able to use the elements since its confirmed that it is celestia alone who can grant visions then it would make sense only people with strong enough ambitions would receive them since they would be able to get more energy from them.🤔

No. He is reffering about his time as Morax, and how even on times of war and conflict --- soldiers or normal folk with Visions choose to stand alongside their god. Because with their power, it gave them strenght to stand with Morax as equals.
