Hi Bradley. I miss Cocoa and Henry, they were wonderful bunnies while I had them, but I'm thrilled they are being spoiled with you and your family. Cocoa was one of my first bunnies! :)
I recently brought our bunnies home from the Nursing Home I work in - they had a two week holiday at my place while they free-roamed in my downstairs area. That’s all it took - I was addicted. Im adopting a new baby bun of my own and he/she will be coming home in a months time. I’m so excited - your videos are a gem to me - such a wealth of information and delivered in your own beautiful calm way. Thankyou - from a newbie-bun-mum in Australia !!
I know how busy you must get on the farm, so when you can produce one of these videos, it is such a treat for us! All of the babies are darling, especially Pearl - she's fearless, lol! And Paisley tries to be such a good girl, hay and all (yes, cats will spit up grasses for sure)! If I could choose any other life than mine, it would be yours. You are so blessed to have such a down-to-earth life, doing that which you love - surrounded by the most precious creatures on earth.
I love your channel and videos. I have started my own rabbitry called kiarna's lucky lops. I have a broken seal doe called cuddles, a broken blue tort called anna, a blue eyed white buck called asher and a solid smut orange buck called floppy. Sorry i took two of your rabbits names. I hope thats ok. And i have a litter of rabbit right now for sale and another going up for sale after the 8th of December. You and holly from holly's hollands really inspire me. 😀
I know this is an old video but its so cute. I love the ending when you’re lying on the floor with your bunnies (and Paisley) and they’re just having fun climbing on you.
I love your bunnies and I think you are so kind to them. I love bunnies and I have also had the joy of raising baby bunnies and I know what a big commitment it is to find good kind homes. P.S I think you bunnies are adorable.
Such cute babies! Also I love that Paisley, the obligate carnivore, is largely ignoring the bunnies and instead is single-mindedly staring at the hay. XD
I love how you handle the bunnies. My bunny hasnt been socialized because he was in a cage most of his life. Your videos are more helpful than the vet I went to.
Your videos have been so helpful! I am getting a Holland Lop for Christmas and I am researching so much and watched all of your videos! You seem like a great rabbit farm owner and care a lot for them. Thanks!
omg I'd so adopt all of them if I lived in the us ;o; they're so cute and they look well trained too especially only being babies, I hope they all get loving homes, as they deserve lots and lots of love
That's why its best to have a young rabbit with a young dog so they can grow up together and become very familiar with each other. I built a grate in the bottom of my litter box. It's about 1" off the bottom and I'm using a large uncovered litterbox with high sides (to prevent the high urination that can happen with the larger breeds).
My dog loves my bunny she when my bunny is out of his pen I have to separate them because the puppy wants to play with him but when he is in the cage my dog stands there staring at him.
My first guess would be hormones causing territorial behavior. Otherwise, it might be helpful to have a vet examine your bunny to make sure there isn't anything else going on.
My bunny did this and she had a parasite :( The parasite made her not have control over her own body :( Now your bunny doesnt have the parasite, but just check at the vets pleAse! we love a healty bunny :)
i have 2 bunnies. they are cookie and mocha. both are 9 months old. but what do you do when a bunny is spayed, but is still a bit aggressive? also, we bought are bunnies from lisa wilder.
I know you made a video on litter training but can you give me tips on moving a bunnies litter box from one place to another? My bunny hardly poops in his new litter box but continues to poo in his old spot without a litter box there now.
Do you only feed small amounts of vegetables to the babies or the adults too? I give my bunnies a couple leafs of letuce and a bunch of cilantro throughout the day but ive heard mixed opinions about this. Ive tried bringing them off vegetables so that they eat more hay but they refuse to eat a healthy portion of hay. Ive started using the sherwood pellets you showed from one of your other videos do that they will have some hay. But i still feel like thats not enough hay. Any reccomendations?
I feed my adults a small amount of parsley, cilantro, basil, leaf lettuce, plantain herb, dandelions, etc. a couple times per week. When given more frequently, some of them have mushy poop, so I find that moderation is best. Some bunnies' digestive systems just do best on lots of hay and a small amount of pellets. You might try giving your rabbit a different type of hay to increase interest. Small Pet Select has a lot of varieties on their website. Anything with clover is usually a hit.
@@HooksHollands ive switched to the second cut timorhy hay from farmer daves. They seem to like it more than the timothy hay i find at pet stores. But they usually only hold interest in a specific kind of hay for a week. Thanks for the reccomendation tho, ill give this another go!
Hi I am getting a bunny soon!!!!! I would just like to know, are holland lops the same as mini lops? I read online that holland is the american way of saying it, and mini is the UK way.
I had the rare husky that was best friends with my bunny. They were allowed unsupervised 24/7 and often hung out in the same room. Rabbit was never stressed and would kick out his legs with the dog in the room :)
How can you tell if a mixed rabbits ears will flop or not? I have a Netherland dwarf/Holland lop mix and he’s about 8 weeks old and I feel his ears will flop, as they are very large compared to his body and the cartilage looks like it’s beginning to slowly curve his ears, however because they haven’t yet I’m just not sure if they will or not. Thank you!
I do pair them based on which pair balances each other's traits nicely as well as making sure the genetics aren't too tight. In the show world, it's common practice to breed tightly for a generation or two before outcrossing bloodlines.
You can Google for a list of rabbit-safe veggies and fruits, but I will say that fruits are quite difficult for their digestive systems due to the sugar content. I would only give an adult rabbit a couple blueberries a week, a couple quarter-sized banana slices weekly, etc. Romaine lettuce, leaf lettuces, kale, cilantro, and parsley are all good greens. Stay away from gassy veggies like broccoli and cabbage.
Just a quick question we are thinking about getting into the business when the doe has baby's do they lose the tummy hairs from doing the nest box to feed babies?
The does do pull fur, but it's usually not very noticeable. I did have one doe who would pluck her tummy nearly bare, so I made sure not to breed her in the coldest months and give her cozy fleece to snuggle upon while her fur grew back.
It can vary from a few weeks to lopping at a few months to never fully lopping and having "airplane ears." It's based upon their physical structure, so not all are alike.
She is a former "Biggest Loser" and has yet to have skin removal surgery. ;) She was a bit overweight, and then when we got our male cat, Ivan, he began eating all of the food. Paisley has lost weight and has a bit of excess skin. Ivan, however, is quite rotund.
I have a question. My rabbit just gave birth, I haven't fully checked the nest yet, but they look happy and they're warm. But it's the fall, and I'm wondering .. do I need to bring the babies in during the winter? I'm worried they'll wander out of the nest and get too cold. It's my first litter and I don't want to mess it up.
It depends on how cold it is and how protected they are. They need lots of fur covering them and to stay warm. I would probably bring them in every day until they are well-furred.
@@HooksHollands They live in a shed. I put insulation in the walls this summer but there's no heater yet. I live in Canada that's why I asked. For now it's 48 degrees fahrenheit and at night it reaches either 41 or 36. I'm just worried once they reach the adventurous stage, they'll wander out of the nest and get chilly nilly. Or will they have enough fur to say "Eh, whatever". I know rabbits can endure the cold more than the heat, so I'm curious if it matters.
I had to get a lidded kitchen trash because my bunny would throw himself away by hopping into the trash can. Don’t worry he didn’t get hurt.
😅😅
Love your new videos. This is Bradley. I just turned 12 years old. I got Henry and Cocoa from you when I was 10. They are doing great! 👍

Awww so in love with Pearl! Reminds me of her auntie as a baby ;)
Yes, Pearl and Winter are two peas in a pod. I can only imagine two "type A" bunnies like that together. :)
I love your videos about your cute bunnies. They make me feel better and I hope you do more cute videos of them.

I love your bunny vidoes.
duke is just sitting on dutchess and charlie hahaha
so cute
Awww I wish I could get one but I have Guinea pigs and my mom and dad said no more pets till my Guinea pigs die....😭😭 I really want duchess tho!!!
SimplyVanessa25 bunnies and guinea pigs aren’t good together anyways. They can spread diseases and the bunny can hurt or kill them very easily.

I can’t wait to get my lop for Christmas!!❤️
AWWWW they are so cute!! Really love your videos!!
My rabbit keeps charging into me and hitting his head. Is that a sign of poor coordination or is he just being playful?

pearl is adorable, id keep her named pearl if i was lucky enough to bring her home!
Pearl is my focal point. She draws away most of my attention. Cat is also lovely. When little Pearl & cat interact, I'm totally being attracted.

Do you ever come to Windsor ontatio? I’d love to purchase one
I do not, I'm sorry.
I know you made a video on litter training but can you give me tips on moving a bunnies litter box from one place to another? My bunny hardly poops in his new litter box but continues to poo in his old spot without a litter box there now.
Try moving it little by little every couple days and also put some soiled litter in it.

I was starting to go into withdrawals--missing the bunny videos! Hazel has beautiful babies!! Thank you!
Ha ha. Wish I could post more often, but videos are a lot of work, and I don't have a lot of spare time. :)
I'm sure you don't! You don't have enough hands! Even with Paisley's help! :)
love the new buns
So sweet!
Whats a good website for adopting a rabbit in San Antonio
Check local animal shelters or search on ARBA's breeder listing online or on Hoobly.

How big do Holland lop bunnies get when they are full grown? Is there any such thing as a mini Holland lop? How big are they when full grown?
