Your teachings have been immensely helpful for me in recent times. I've suffered from depression and anxiety for quite a while, I still feel them, but they no longer have power over me, in fact I'm starting to enjoy when I feel them. I like the example of aversion is like adding fuel to the fire, and my personal understanding is that once you accept these emotions and start to feel them, you've basically stopped running back and forth for fuel and now you're just sitting next to the fire, and at first it's too hot. But as you sit there longer and longer the fire starts to die down, and eventually it becomes small enough to sit next to, it even starts to become nice, warm, comforting, something that you want to seek out, not avoid.
I have listened to this several times and helps with so many problems I now say ‘hello cravings’ but they still come back to see me every day Don’t give up 🙏
to listen the propositions gives a good and hopeful feeling. In this special video seems in the background many dogs barking. Perhaps you set them free and they can also be happy.
Many, many thanks to you Rinpoche, for this wonderful teaching! 🙏🤲. You always explain things in such a way that is so easy to understand, and your compassion and love is so evident. I am so deeply grateful for you and the Tergar community 🙏
Sir rinpoche definitely inspires me a lot. I am so grateful to him. I am trying to apply his meditation techniques in my thoughts and work. When people get a little calm and peace in distressed time one tends to linger to the person who creates a joyful moment. Thanks for every speech and lecture sir rinpoche.
Very impressive since buddha teaching should be included in Nepal curriculum since mindfulness should be the first stage to treat stress and anxiety but it’s sad that the country where Buddha was born most people don’t know his teaching how to be in present moment by making mind still so happiness is our real nature so thanks guru for your teachings . So even Buddha palace is in need to renovation in Kapilbastu so lumbini should be sacred place for meditation and getting rid of suffering through eight fold path .❤
Mingyur Rinpoche, I just love to read and watch a lot of your contents. You're making meditation/non-meditation so much clearer to understand in practice. However I am not up to the stage where a person had experienced "emptiness", which you've mentioned that one has to experience for oneself. But I am ok at where I am because you said we should not grasp. I am also surprised that you also teach eye gazing. This is a similar concept to Ashtanga yoga called drishti, where you may need to focus your eye at somewhere for each pose. This is to stop one's mind to wonder away from what you're doing. I bet Tibetan meditation has also got something similar to pranayama, which is yogic breathing techniques. I personally find yoga is very useful when I am unable to meditate, because sometimes, my thought flow and emotions are so overwhelming. After the practice, I feel better and then I can start to meditate. Currently, I am still reading your first book, and I am hooked to your content, all thanks to "no 🍕"
Laurie A nne, Meditation is the only way to get rid of anxiety as the mind is reprogrammed. Enter "alternate nostril breathing meditation videos " on Google search and watch the videos and see how it is done. It is very simple and has to be done at least twice a day for 10 minutes. It can also be done sitting on a chair. Try to observe your breath when meditating. You will feel relaxed if you do the above practice daily. Best wishes. Avoid watching negative TV shows.

Thank you for taking the time to talk about this because I too can get caught up in this. I know that being compassionate now as many people are suffering.
Thank you and BLESSING to you🙏🍁. Right now is real TRUTH OF SUFFERING we are having right now on mother EARTH. Not a single person unaffected from the influence of this outbreak. Is a kind of VLEANSING AND TRANSFORMATION on our lives and next generation. It is only our mind, spirit and feeling towards the perception and understanding of this vibration that happens to us everyday, everywhere, anytime. Like you said Madter, we have our CAPACITY GREAT INNER WISDOM TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND ABILITY TO overcome.
Thank You
When the teacher says "do not give up" it fills me with such strength.
