“The King of Aspiration Prayers" originates from the Mahayana Buddhist scripture, the "Avatamsaka Sutra". Those who recite this prayer vow to emulate the path of bodhisattva Samantabhadra to achieve enlightenment. These vows encompass the cultivation of boundless compassion, ethical excellence and the commitment to benefit all sentient beings. Reciting this prayer serves to purify karma and accumulate merit, both of which are necessary for enlightenment and Buddhahood.

🙏 aspiration one was aware of this motion 🧘but never gave it form 😔 it's like your teachings, they flow into the present just at the right time 🫂 its like a unbroken stream ❤ an example been this beautiful teaching 🧘 I know this is only a small part of what you shared 🧘 awareness raises briefly but without talking form that a house is too be built in the present 🧘 already the house is built ❤ taking form in the present. First the foundations of the house take form 🧘 then the bricks arrive ❤ once the first brick is laid, the next one quickly follows 😔 when required the windows and doors follow 🧘 briefly the house 🏠 takes form in the present ❤ before been lost back into the silent void of the mind 🙏 later is searching for a happy ending 🙏
Rinpoche, if you don’t mind, could you please provide more explanation on why we have to undergo self-empowerment when practicing Guru Yoga? What is the significance of self-empowerment and why is it necessary? Thank you, Rinpoche.
Thank you! 🌹

Thanks a bunch for the post. For me personally I prefer Dzonsar Khyentse Rinpoche's talks unedited. It seems the editing removes some of the pauses. His pauses and slow pacing are very important for his teaching in my opinion.
This should be the only part where translation has been removed.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! Here is the link of the unedited video available on Siddhartha's Intent channel. ruclips.net/video/0ZkiEdjgWuM/видео.html

The king Subhakara of Orrisa(now Oddisha), then Kalinga sent “Avatamsaka Sutra( མདོ་ཕེལ་པོ་ཆེ་) to Chinese king De Song or De Zong in 790 AD during peak time of Vajrayana/Mahayana in the Diamond Triangle- Udaygiri,Lalitagiri and Ratnagiri. That’s why Chinese have more translations than any Mahayana countries.
Interesting. Source? The "Diamond Triangle" is in...? Current day Odisha?
Sutras and Shastras combined, Tibetan canon is more extensive than Chinese canon.
Google, “Chinese canon vs Tibetan canon”

True. Tibetan scholars and assisted Indian Panditas (scholars/highly learned) had translated more and clearer than Chinese, but Tibetans are behind Chinese translations by at least a century or more. Kumarjiva translation are abundant in China and less in Tibet.

Sorry. It was king Subhakara-I. Orrisa or Odhisha was once a producer of diamonds and merchants were so active in a Cuttack city for trade. But some scholars say “Diamond triangle “ due to Vajrayana connotation of Vajra. In Some books it is a “Golden Triangle “. Very interesting place to visit.

1. The chinese has translate more because Buddhism came earlier to China than Tibet,
2. Tibetan source from India, but Nalanda, Vikramasila, Somapura etc already destroyed by the Turk at 12 AD so Tibet lost the momentum
3. China has more men power, money etc to do the translation
Btw even Dzongsar Rinpoche admit that China has more translation
沒有中文翻譯🙏
Manjushiri enough is enough
Was that happening in Vancouver?
Yes
