My 2009 Canyon has a 5.3,with no cylinder deactivation, and it's great. A new 5.3 with a 10 speed would probably get better gas mileage if in the new Colorado or Canyon.

A lot of star gazing "possibilities " in this video, such as the V8, which probably / most definitely won't happen.
