Thank you for the video and the reply - stay safe
Thanks. Same to you
Good video. Thanks
I love that high lift jack a must
Great idea! Your high lift jack should be the opposite direction so rain doesn't collect in that cover. Great video!
Thanks. That base is heavy so i decided to go that direction.
@@RobDaman Makes sense. Adding that carrier to my list.
looks great Rob
Thanks
Rob can you can put the roto packs in back of tire to fill in the space that is in back of tire and space to truck. I see u put jack. Do u have picture of roto packs in there. I would get this if can fill in that big space
No pics but yes possible

@@RobDaman thank u. What kind of roto packs u use. I want black ones
Nice setup, sharp Toyota, thanks for the video Rob!.. I was wanting to build one for my Cummins Diesel but hadn’t seen this one.. People always look at me like I have 3 heads when I mention a spare carrier. Years ago, I was attempting to rescue a friend who had broken down in the woods.(90s, dodgy cell era! lol)I wasnt stuck until I tore my sidewall on a sharp rock and sunk in the mud. Even with jacking the truck, I was unable to get the spare out from underneath. Nothing like a cool Early winter overnight in Canada to make a guy a believer in a spare carrier that doesn’t take up Cargo space. 😉keep up the good work!👍
Wow ya the under bed spare is no way off-road friendly
Awesome setup on your truck! This is giving me ideas on what I want to do to my Tacoma! Subbed!
Do a year review because I saw a couple of reviews that said after a year it starts to wobble
But wow 1100 plus 😞
Rob daman. You should do a walk around of your truck. Love your jdm old school mixed style on this truck. Making me wana get same color and not cement gray.
I did a walk around when I was at SEMA.
check it out... ruclips.net/video/6kA4C14Qoa4/видео.html
just bought mine, showed up last week, I really HATE the tire mount lug nut system they have, I had a template made of the inside rim and welded the bolts so when I take the tire on and off its not so cumbersome, I also welded the dual plate carrier for the Roto pak system just for piece of mind, they could do a better job with this thing for what they charge, almost better off with an entire rear bumper with swing outs.
Ya it was a challenge for me to get that tire on.
He’s Rob! You should make a video of what is needed to run your 34’s with the 0 offset without rubbing.
I did but it still rubs

It's certainly much cheaper than the whole bumper build out but it a bit concerning to see the only thing that hold the swing arm is the pin and no latches. I can see that pin remove or stolen and driving off not knowing the pin was missing and the arm swing out on a freeway. It's a scary thought. Rigd supply made similar product but a much better quality. I purchased the Rigd ultraswing for my 4runner can't wait to test it out and it doesn't have a wobbling issue like the Wilco does. I think it's a few hundred dollars more than the Wilco but on my research it's money well spent. If you guy looking into buying one I recommend looking at the Rigd Ultraswing and compare it with Wilco tire carrier before pulling the trigger.
Unfortunately dishonest people will try to steal anything. If they truly want it they'll get it.
Great video
Siiick bro!!! How is it with the reverse camera? Is it still functional with that spare, of no??
I'm curious as well!
it blocks a lot of the view but I relocated it to where I put the license plate.
Awesome video. Just was looking into this for my Taco. Should do a short video of the plate relocation lol. How’s the backup cam look with the tire there?
Coming soon!
Awesome Video Rob! Is this the standard size from Wilco?
this their solo high clearance so the swing sits a lil higher up
amzn.to/3dA2AI4
Nice video Rob. A bit off topic but, I still prefer hard shell Taco and Deck drawer over the setup you currently have. That’s just my opinion.
Thanks
I fucking love TACOS!!!
Great video, but did it cover your rear view camera?
Yes it does.
new video about how I fixed that

Hi Rob. Nice video and suv! I have an Outback and was looking at that hitchgate solo high clearance model also. They said my tow hitch needs to be about level with my bumper. I just had it installed and although the installers said it would be that level it is about 3” recessed beneath. It looked like yours was somewhat recessed also. Do you think it will still fit? I don’t plan on carrying those extras. Only my tire
Thanks!
Hi, highly likely it'll fit. There's actually 2 holes in the hitch and I had it in farther.
What license plate mount bracket is that?
That's a Wilco accessory
When open, does it lock in place?
good question. no locks.
Did you relocate your camera if so where and how
I did and spoke about it here ruclips.net/video/jkyb5g15sqA/видео.html
Hi, I was just wondering where can I purchase one of those wedges?
You can reach out to Wilco for replacement parts
Would you still reccomend this mod to date? I see one for sale locally and trying to weigh pros and cons. Almost a deal breaker for me that it doesn’t have a lock open position
ya it's a good mod. I can only see the lock issue if you're parked at aggressive angles.
Hey is that a gx in the back? How’s the 3rd row were looking at one for the wife
LX. I wanted more room since the kids are getting tall
What are the differences? We wanted the sequoia but not for the price how is that 3rd row?
That has to rattle like shit
It actually doesn't. The hitch has a wedge with bolt that tightens up the gap.
I'd never buy this...it block the backup camera - Wilco, can't you offer something that fixes that?
i talked about my relocation here
ruclips.net/video/jkyb5g15sqA/видео.html
Hey Rob I wanted to cut my muffler just like you did in your video, but do you think my 33in tire will fit with no problem or is it not worth it?
ku seitz I had a 33 with chopped muffler with no issues.
ruclips.net/video/3SEhcdDcR2w/видео.html
I’m looking at the same brand, the only thing that’s holding me up to pull the trigger to buy it, is that... does it wobble at all while you are driving On & off road?
I had my rear camera on any never saw much wobble. The wedge in the hitch is the key. The swing arm itself won't budge. I had a buddy look at it when he was behind me at 75 with no issues
Other videos show it wobbling after a year of off road use, the wedge thing wears out or breaks. If I got one I'd attach the pivot end on the right to something on the bumper to prevent the twisting forces on the hitch. Not sure if I want to fork out for this since it seems to have a few problems after months of use on bumps but it is still cheaper and lighter than a full bumper.
I have a brand new Rotopax for sell I’ll give u a good deal
Thanks. It's on the bottom of my priorities right now
It wobbles around ...for sure...lets go brandon🤡🤡🤡
