My favorite egg sandwich is an over-easy egg with cream cheese and Swiss, and a little veggie sausage, on a sesame seed bagel. It's fantastic! You can jazz it up with some sliced tomato, red onion, and spinach with a Balsamic vinaigrette if you want some more vegetables, too!
I've always loved English muffins. for making egg sandwiches, we have a little mini frying pan so the egg can't spread out too much; it keeps the egg just the right size for a bagel or muffin sandwich. And I always add some kind of cheese, either cheddar, Swiss, or a shredded cheese blend. I've been seeing a lot of videos about the folded egg sandwich, most have called it a Korean egg sandwich, but I haven't had the courage to try making one yet.
The increasing horror of Amazon taking over every facet of life Edit: I do not have the energy to explain to anyone why the Amazon corporation is bad, nor why this has such a high potential of replacing regular grocery stores and putting thousands out of the job.

We used to make "bird's nest eggs". We make a standard grilled cheese, use a cookie cutter to cut out the center of it, drop an egg or two if they're small in the center and cook the eggs inside of that hole, flipping the whole sandwich after the eggs have a chance to set up in the center. You plate it with the little insert on the side to use as a scoop or a Dipper if the yolks are still soft and runny. Really good!
My dad used to make this for us as kids but we always called it eggy in a basket and used the rim of a drinking glass to cut the hole instead! So interesting to hear how other people and their families interpret the same recipes! 💛
Egg in a basket is one of my absolute favorite breakfasts! Though, we never used grilled cheeses...just plain buttered bread that was toasted before dropping in the egg. ;)
Ha! Interesting! In my country bird's nest is made with minced meat. The basic recepy is - you take gyuveche (clay lidded pot for single serving) and place inside the minced meat mixed with herbs and spices so it resembles bird's nest. Place it in the oven and when it is almost done crack an egg in each nest, put the lid on and back in the oven for 3-5 minutes We sometimes add cheese, pickles, pepper, onion or slices of tomato
My best friend show me my fav egg sandwich recipe: when toasting the bread you add grated cheese to the pan and put the bread over the melted cheese so when you flip it you get a golden cheese crust, then put your sunny side egg with some crispy bacon in between your cheesy bread, it's delicious

I love a toasted English muffin with almond butter and a drizzle of honey. I don’t make a sandwich, just eat each piece separately. Great breakfast or lunch!
One trick I learned from a show called 'Hack My Life' was to scramble two eggs, pour it into a frying pan with butter and cook until it starts to toughen up a bit. THEN place a large tortilla on top and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes. Everything should be fully cooked and ready to flip egg-side-up onto a prepared piece of foil. Add your fillings, fold, and wrap the foil around your breakfast burrito. ;)
Not sure if this counts as a “sandwich” because it uses a tortilla, but my absolute favorite way to eat eggs is Nadiya Hussain’s egg roll-ups. So, so good! I highly recommend looking up the recipe and trying it for yourself if you get the chance.
I discovered how to make the second egg sandwich a little while ago, and now it's my favorite breakfast sandwich! It's so good, I put bacon in it too! :)
That sandwich resembles my favorite ones! I do the eggs the same way, but I toast my bread with the butter on it on the frying pan before frying my egg. I usually add a little bit of mayo and some avocado with seasonings (Mostly black pepper, salt and some kind of hot sauce)
Not an egg sandwich, but my favorite breakfast sandwich is to toast up 2 frozen waffles, lightly butter and very lightly drizzle syrup. The inside is a sausage patty and a slice of plastic cheese. Of course, add an egg if you want!

My personal at home egg sandwich is…bacon (my husband loves bacon so there’s nearly always some cooked in the fridge) on a toasted everything bagel (or using ‘everything but the bagel seasoning) butter melted in the pan, and wet scrambled eggs…they’ve got to be wet! Nuke the bacon a little, then nuke the ever so healthy Kraft American cheese, put all on the bagel (or bread with the seasoning) and enjoy! Quick, easy, simple, delicious!!! I like your ideas too! I’m not a sunny side up egg person…yes, I know the wet scrambled eggs…but that’s a different taste. I like the idea of the French toast, thanks!
I don't eat a lot of eggs, but once at a restaurant I asked the server to have the cook make a breakfast sandwich with wheat bread, hash browns, sausage and cheddar cheese.
I usually put a scrambled egg, a slice of bacon, cayenne pepper, and pepper jack cheese on baguette bread! Nice little savory spice for the salt. if you have it, a little avocado goes a long way too
Ever since my sisters and I were little we would heat peanut butter and maple syrup together and mix it then spread it in a tortilla and eat it folded like a quesadilla. Sometimes we would add chocolate chips 💕 still so yummy
I used a good rosemary or garlic sourdough bread toasted with butter...I make an omelet 1-2 eggs and put havarti cheese and turkey in it and a little more havarti on top of the omelet and place it in between the sourdough! It's a huge breakfast but it's delicious! 🤤 I wish I could still make it!
I love you emmy- I think you’d love an eggs Benedict burrito!!!! It’s so tasty. Dash cart seems fun. I’d also still love to see you make hamburger helper sushi
For me the ultimate egg based sandwich has to be an egg banjo, take a plain soft white bread roll, cut it into halves and spread with butter. Next heat your frying pan and a spoon of butter and start frying a single egg, spoon some of the molten butter over the top of your egg so that a vail forms over the yolk. As soon as the yolk is covered lift the egg from the pan and place it onto the base of your roll and season with a pinch of large sea salt crystals and fresh cracked black pepper, add a bare pinch of paprika or cayenne pepper place the other part of the roll on top of the sandwich and put the whole thing quickly onto a heated plate and serve. There are two basic ways to enjoy your banjo, simple or posh, a posh serve takes a knife to split the roll at 90 degrees to the first cut, passing the blade through the still runny yolk so it starts to ooze out. Lift the half sandwich and eat from the cut face. The simple method is to replace the top of the roll and tuck in, eating from the edge. As the yolk starts to drip from the roll, the reason for the name becomes clear as the diner tries to avoid the drips from landing on themselves or anything else.
Love these! One note of possible improvement on the order of operations regarding cheese placement to "glue" the spinach, should be n top of the spinach
We have a version of egg sandwich called Popeye…. It’s a slice of any type of bread you like . It has a hole cut out of the center with a small glass or cookie cutter that’s round. Toast the bread in a skillet with butter flavor cooking spray or butter then crack an egg in the center of the toasted bread. Cook the egg to your liking. We like them as dippy eggs the round pieces toasted also one placed slightly over the egg in the center when finished. They are yummy , quick to make and eat.
I created an egg sandwich when I was a kid that I call a scramble burger: toasted burger bun, a little mayo, thinly sliced tomato and a scrambled egg. And a little salt and pepper. I still make and enjoy them
Thanks for the tips on the egg sandwiches! They’re fast and look yummy! I’ve never been in an Amazon store, but it looked amazing! It’s what the shopping experience will be like in the future!
Veggie egg sandwich. Dice up your preferred veg real small. For me it’s zucchini, green onion, red pepper and tomato. Season the veg and Cook in butter until FULLY cooked. Throw in some whisked eggs. Cook like an omelette. Slide some cheese on at the end and eat on a buttered English muffin. Spinach, kale, jalapeño, mushroom, broccoli stems, and pico de gallo have all been used successfully for this. If you’re concerned about the fat in cheese, throw a spoon of cottage cheese in your eggs while whisking. Cheesy without the fatty,
One thing I HAVE to say is you are so stinkin'cute.I love how you never remember to turn on your power strip. Cheap egg sandwiches are great. Somewhat healthier than PBJ and more environmentally sound due to the recycling factor of the egg vs plastic or glass jars of the PBJ. Good job Em!
Try buttering and griddling the split faces of an English muffin until slightly browned. It is a completely different experience from a toasted muffin. 😋
My egg sandwich is a little bit of a splurge. I like to start with a toasted English muffin and top it with cream cheese, capers, spring mix, red onion, smoked salmon, and a poached egg.
The second egg sandwich is sometimes known as French Toast, but in my family, we called it Eggy Bread and lightly spread Marmite on it. Absolutely delicious.
French toast is when you dip the bread in the egg in a bowl, and then fry it in a pan and top it with jam or syrup like pancakes. This was a scrambled egg/omelette sandwich. How is everyday food "absolutely delicious"? What garbage you must all be eating on a regular basis if you think this is special.
Nom Noms. I loved to get delicious egg toast sandwiches (street food) when I was in South Korea. The street food there is Everything. Yum. Thank you for sharing.

Bread roll lightly toasted on inside only then buttered. Fried egg, spinach, tin pineapple or tin beetroot slices & slice of Swiss cheese. 🤤 🇦🇺
egg sandwiches hve been my FAVORITE lately, thank u for the new options!!
My favorite breakfast sandwich is a toasted bagel, fried egg, pan fried bacon, pepper Jack cheese, and a dash of hot sauce. Perfection 🤌🏻
Thank you for being my and my newborns wholesome entertainment at 4am :) breakfast sounds like egg sammies!
I just made one of these the morning after I watched this!! Thank you! It was delicious!
Its even better when you add the "everything bagel" seasoning :)
I love eggs and any kind of egg sandwiches are awesome 😋 my favorite is a three egg white cheese and ham on a bagel thin I try to eat that everyday
I just love Emmys videos and I just think Emmy is the best 🥰👍👍
I created an egg sandwich when I was a kid that I call a scramble burger: toasted burger bun, a little mayo, thinly sliced tomato and a scrambled egg. And a little salt and pepper. I still make and enjoy them
hope you had a happy new year emmy! your videos always brighten up my day :))
The second sandwich looks like a perfect use for stale bread. Definitely trying that one.
You never saw fried bread? Sad. What did you think toast was invented for if not to use up stale bread?
Yayyy another Emmy made videooo!Love ur videos!!!
Hello Emmy and all the other beautiful lovelies 💕It always makes my day when I see a new Emmy video. Take care and be safe everyone 🙂
Is no one gonna mention how perfect the second sandwich looked?!
Oh my gosh I have never been so happy that I clicked on one of your videos before! WHAT IS THAT SECOND SANDWICH??? You are a food genius lmao
I love having eggs for dinner! I gotta try that egg sandwich with the bread! 😋🍳
The plump on that yolk is impressive Emmy.
Happy Chickadoons !
Very simple breakfast recipe, thanks for sharing emma 🥰
Thanks for the tips on the egg sandwiches! They’re fast and look yummy! I’ve never been in an Amazon store, but it looked amazing! It’s what the shopping experience will be like in the future!
I don’t think I’ve ever been so early! Love you Emmy!
Cheesy without the fatty,
Emmy, thanks so much as always! May I tell you that your audio is so so low, don’t know if it’s the mic settings?
Cannot wait to try this
That’s exactly how I like my sunny side up eggs. I put the cover on to get the yolk partially done.
"Butter it while it's hot"
Yeah those are words to live by
Try buttering and griddling the split faces of an English muffin until slightly browned. It is a completely different experience from a toasted muffin. 😋
My egg sandwich is a little bit of a splurge. I like to start with a toasted English muffin and top it with cream cheese, capers, spring mix, red onion, smoked salmon, and a poached egg.
Yum!! This has refreshed my resolve to make my own breakfasts. These look great!
“Where’s the 🧂?”
Both sandwiches look delicious, but, the first one is perfection, I like leaving my yolk runny so when you bite into it runs everywhere!!!!!
Cool to see Amazon Fresh!! I will never be able to shop there since I live in the mountains. But it's sure cool to see!!
Emmy I think it’s about time that you get your own show on food network.
@@robinlillian9471 Calm down, love. Life isn't a dress rehearsal.
*Cheap, but good food! Thanks Emmy for sharing this to us, can't wait to try it out!*
😈🥰👍
Literally paused this video to go make the first one as a late lunch. So good!
That second sandwich looks fantastic. What a great idea.
Nom Noms. I loved to get delicious egg toast sandwiches (street food) when I was in South Korea. The street food there is Everything. Yum. Thank you for sharing.
