The World's First Water-Resistant Prosthetic Hand

After engineer Mathew Jury broke both his arms in a mountain biking accident, he began researching artificial limbs and inventing his own. Now his New Zealand-based company TASKA Prosthetics, produces the world’s first water-resistant prosthetic hand. We sat down with Mathew and Head of Design, David Lovegrove, to talk about how their hand is changing lives.

It's not the world's first water resistant prosthetic hand, there are loads of them. It's far more impressive than that; it's the world's first IP67 rated (ie fully submersible) multi articulating myoelectric hand. Massive difference.

Superb! was aspecting the demo of how it works with water.
