My reasons for applying was because I hear most nurses saying lifestyle is affordable that side and you can save more. It's true that UK is for couples with kids ,Saudi is for us single s with elderly children. I can feel that I'm in the wrong country. We spent R95,000 to relocate from SA to the UK in 2021 during COVID. R49,000 of the R95k was quarantine money at that time (equivalent of £2,250) for my 17 yr old son and myself. If i didn't come with him ,i would have gone back to SA in the same year. Life is expensive,depressing,cold ,high taxes , can't save airfare to go back home. It's a real struggle. I will encourage couples to come but not singles with small kids.
I definitely agree with this... I find it encouraging single parents to move over...especially if the kids are very young. 17 year old is better cause you don't stress at all about child care and can pick up extra shifts. But extra shifts take a toll on your body and you need to have time together especially in a foreign country with no family around. Hang in there mommy and wait for the time it will all pay off.. Him in university and you being able to pick shifts only when you want to..
Relocate and look for suitable places. Poole. London. Oxford Reading so expensive come to the Midlands those who have finished their mortgage are driving Land rovers and other cars we are very comfortable
@user-xq7zw6oe8e hello mntase.. Experience is needed, and your new employer will ask for references. I'll encourage you to be pro active.. Volunteer at your local hospital, clinic, or care home. Speak with HR, and they must confirm that they'll give you a reference when needed. Even if you go for 4hrs a day it looks good.
Congratulations sis on your journey. My problem is IELTS, is there any class or institution who can teach for this test. I know that here in South Africa we do have Pearson vue who has place to write for this test but who teaches. I have been practising from RUclips but they are too fast sometimes you get very less than the requirement which makes you feel like a failure.
