Juna and Harumo - What a team. Doesn't get better than this. They are like explorers in a new world of music. Sensational.
These 2 ladies are hyper-talented. Always love watching them whether as a part of Tokyo Groove or other endeavors. Dude on piano seems classically trained.
the sax is phrased so well. she puts her heart so deep into it!
I agree! That's why she is so special.
Yo yo YO THAT BASS THOUGH!🥰
@@queen4269 yo yo YO! its Juna's channel. i take her genius for granted. she's always sooooo good.

you wedge in my mind as a cross between Jaco and Chris Squire. you give me goose bumps. you all do. your vibration is healing.....Juna.
@@ThomasWBaldwin 💯
And the pianist wasn't bad either. He showed his rhythmic soul to us all ❤️
I love it! Dark and funky! The percussion solo was really awesome!
Super cool bass and percussion groove! The sax work has an exotic vibe to my ears; very cool. The piano section is wild! Awesome song and performance! Dig it! 👍
DEF got an element of Les Baxter/Martin denny going on, amidst the other stuff.
Nice ! Love Juna's style of collaboration with other musicians. Never plays over them. Real class. Especially Harumo . That woman is always in the groove. Both sound and body. Mesmerizing.... She could charm a serpent out of a basket with her playing. So cool !
I'm sure she lured a lot of serpents out of the baskets ;)
@@kemikemi756 hey-ohhh!!😭
It's always a pleasure to hear Juna and Harumo playing music together. They make a good team and would be fun to jam with.
👍 🎵 🎶
What a trio! Amazing production! I see a great future ahead !
Huge fan of piano and he crushed it! Great channels to follow.
same here mate
Absolutely beautiful! I love the cool haunting tune with such a perfect combination of the bass and the sax! Brilliant! The more I watch this video, the more I keep coming back to it! Not only is the tune really addictive to listen to, but the video is brilliant as well. Awesome piano solo too! I can't get enough of Juna and Harumo and friends. ❤👍
Harumo rips it up!!! I love this combo. Awesome 👍. Thanks Juna. Lvya all much
This song could be used in a film scene🎵🎶🎸🎹🎷
Wow Incredible, great musicians!!
Amazing I've been following harumo for quite a while now but wish she released more content 😪
Oh that's nice everything the music the video job well done ladies
God gave you all a gift an the massage is the key of life with the talent of music to share with the would. Jay
cool how Juna added some Middle Easter, Some Tango, and some Classical music into the composition - Harumo's sax play sounds best in the passage after 4:01 - 4:-15 where she gets to unfold - the other passages seem too muted for her style - The piano part is wonderful - This is a composition that Juna should work on perfecting even more
ain't NO such place called the middle east. ALL that land is NORTHEAST AFRIKA.
@@darrellmfume4020I was referring to Iran/Iraq, Turkey, and Syria - not Nothern Africa! And for a reference to music origin, there is no colonial or racist undertone in my statement - Africa is a continent - the Middle East is a geopolitical loosely defined area reaching from south-west Asia - to - but not always including Egypt -- I also wrote Tango - I could have written Argentina - but then I would have left out Uruguay which also is part of the origin of tango - let's not nitpick - I was praising Juna for including inspiration from several parts of the world
This song caught my attention and held it from the first note to the end. Niiiiicee
I LOVE you Juna !!! Belleza y sensualidad !!! Excelente bajista también !!!
Always happy to hear Harumo play. And you, of course! But everyone else is also amazing here and has a time to shine on this track. Love it.
Fantastic you ladies are doing a hell of a job fantastic music keep it up I'm so proud of all of you God bless you keep it up man I'd love to see you guys play in the United States of America❤
All killer, no filler. Per usual. From Seattle, with love \,,/
Smooth as silk Juna. Wonderful! 😎❣
Nice love the name too
The four musicians are awesome, this is top notch music.😊
you wedge in my mind as a cross between Jaco and Chris Squire. you give me goose bumps. you all do. your vibration is healing.....
with a little Primus in there as well.
I know how hard you worked to become what you are. I hope your effort pays out for you. Love you, Juna.
Thanks for the album info, where could it be available, hopefully found in Ebay. And Big thanks for this experience, really entertaining and creative jazz again.. I am really for this kind of music, not the standard but more like almost experimental within the normal context.
Amazing music! Love the Middle Eastern flavour. Bass and percussion in one.
Awesome! Old School Fusion! So Cool 😎🎸🎷👍
This one takes me on a musical journey through music Americana with a side strip to North Africa for street food.
Beyond brilliant, Juna-chan and ALL members. WOW!
Where it is going, flowing, showing Tokyo taboos, Excellence pursues, just downright grooves!
HELLoO , you are all very good musicians )) great diversity of sound phrases through time and different continental cultures
That really cooks!
this sounds like something I'd hear in a video game.. I mean that in the best way possible! \m/
Reminiscent of an old band called Sopwith Camel. Anyone that can do that is well worth listening to.
I keep coming back to this composition. So smooth, so sultry. It does carry the feeling of something stalking its prey.
WOW!!!! Juna, you are so much more than the Princess of FUNK!! You are most of the way there to being just plain.....The Queen of BASS movement!!! With your relaxed style, your feel for what the bass should be doing with each individual song, the coy little smiles that are so barely noticeable, yet able to bring the entire planet into perpetual light, don't even get me started on the sheer beauty I see from head to toe, being an artist/musician, I'm gonna say that same beauty continues on from the inside out to help spread caring, kindness and love to everyone that you cross paths with!!!! I've been playing Bass for 32 years, and I've decided the number one spot on my 'Bucket List' just became being blessed enough to share a stage with you.....even if only for a single song, if that ever happens, I will be content with the life I've led to that point and would accept the end whenever it has been fated to occur for me!
BTW.....your thumb roll down is so smooth, its almost difficult to distinguish that it's more than one note.
I'll take any post I can get, at any frequency, but I want one every single day! I would be a much MUCH happier person and of course it would tear me away from the horrible rat race I've slipped into and make me practice a whole helluva lot more than I am now!!!!!
Thank you Princess Serita!!!!! May she reign for a thousand years!
It seems to me like fusion, funk, flamenco and some Arabic scales. It got very interesting .👌👏🌼!
Wonderful stuff! And nice blending of styles - strong Indian / Arabic, classical, Asian influences, jazz vibe - it's simply a very interesting piece! Some of it reminds me of early '70s Soft Machine from England.
Gong or East of eden.
Sax reminiscent of Pharoh Sanders. What a mystical blending of cultures, and genres. Underscored by awesome funk and astounding drumming.
sweet piano!
Welcome to Barcelona!!!!!
I Love It!!! I'm just barely discovering this group, apperently I am totally on the Late Freight foreeal! Jazzily Smooth & Scatting Sax(s), A lil Dark yet with A Funky, In the Pocket Bassline Guiding the Track Along from solo to solo! I Love Your Work Y'all!!!
Nice jam that sax with the bass is great.
Almost fully romantic...
Great sound...full of twists and turns.... highs and lows... mixture of old and new
Love it .... brilliant
Wow there is so much technique. and I love the combination of sounds ❤️
Those keys tho 🤩
Agreed. We are all here because we know what great muscians Juna and Harumo are. And Hideaki-san really shone as well.
Wow, amazing keys there!
Awesome! I really like the drum part. And of course you and Harumo are splendid together as always.
While I'm Lyft & Uber driving this is on repeat in the car
Nice groove 🔥
African percussion groove spot on.
Beautiful, awesome, amazing WORK TEAM ❗❤️❗💕❗😘❗I wish you excellent Success ❗❤️❗🎉❗
The princess is back!!!
A beautiful piece of work!
Amazing! Best new video and musical composition I've seen or listened to on RUclips in a while. Would've loved to see the drummer and percussionist working their magical grooves, too.
Wow, this is gold! Very well done! I love the expression on your face 🥰👍🏻🍀💖
Somehow this is different from your other stuff. But it's so good...cool and kind of exciting.
Best bass player on the planet. Awesome!😎💙💙💙💙💙💙👊🏼
One of my female bass players is Patrica Morrison of Sisters of Mercy. I believe she’s long retired, but it was Stanley Clark that was amazed by her.
@@douglasroderick9873 I'll have to check her out!😀
Juna is a bad girl and can bring the funk. She visits America regularly and does limited tours with some of the greatest jazz/funk musicians like Pieces Of A Dream, Marcus Miller, just to name a few. In fact, Pieces Of A Dream did the arrangement for Thelonious Monk's 1945 classic 'Round Midnight. There's a video with Juna and her original band Tokyo Groove Jyoshi performing the song. You'll see that their whole band "got skills!". Then check out their video covering Tower Of Power's, What Is Hip? Even though she may not look it, she's 28 and has been playing bass since she was 17. 😉 Don't fake tha' funk and Stay Frosty. 🌬️
Very cool piece of music and that hypnotic melody is killer! Love all the solos (especially the percussions) and Ms. Juna's little melodic bass breakdown before her solo is just as tasty as her solo is. Very Hip \m/
On the prowl, was that a growl, just past Cymbal, or is it this movement beating it's Way!
Excellent music. It is a pleasure to watch these 2 highly talented, creative and attractive women (and gentleman)
Thank you for sharing and Much success to you both.
Was the person playing the keys a woman too? That was amazing.
@@km4hr hence "and gentleman", it's okay friend it happens 🙂
Surely your maturity in your performances, Juna Serita is wonderful! Thanks for share👍
Juna your right hand technique in this one is ON POINT! 🤩
for sure
It's so good. That effortless, and totally consistent, double thumbing is really impressive. At that level it's not just playing the right notes at the right times, and just doing that with something this tight and syncopated is impressive enough, but she's also getting perfect tone on every note.
Quel performance bonne année
Your awesome
Fantastic! If this is a taste of what MUSES is about, I’m in!
Amazing beyond words! Each of them. Is this an original, or a cover?
Mesmerizing!
I dig this groove! Great job Juna and friends! 🙂
Awesome, smooth jazz, indeed!
Who doesn't have a crush on Marcus Miller. I get that. You did good girls...
Having a blast going through your channel

Such a beautiful composition with a very very deep pocket. Love the key and how it’s looped. The changes are funky and on the one. I see so much potential here in these beautiful young musicians. I am so happy for jazz music when I hear this. Keep on doing what you do!
Nice sound Juna, I really loved it. So mellow
You young ladies are awesome. Super cool funky groove!
Perfect harmony🎶🙏❤️🧿☮️
Excellent piece of music! Cool ! Going to subscribe girl playing on sax! Grettings!
That tore me up, made me feel like I was back in California in 1969 again. Thanks for a drug free money free trip.🖤
i know!!!!
Love the flow. They have soul. Love that.
This is what you get with discipline & hard work "music" so anyone with aspirations pay close attention, konnichiwa Juna!
This was a wonderful little journey. Everything was exciting to hear. Besides Juna's bass (as always), the drums, percussion and the saxes really caught my ear. Also, I was amazed at the variety of wildlife to be found in Japan....
Nice track. 5 string Bass sounds good
EXCELLENT JOB!... well done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Can't wait for "Muses" 🤟😵🤟
Me too!
WAR PATH 2003. about Iraq war. i have it here in my mess of recordings somewhere. ominous like this, with eerie vocals. my bass line i wrote is almost identical, but not played as well as Juna can play. she puts that Primus bomb-bass in it with that bottom "B" string. fantastic! i'd love to hand you my stuff to play, so i could experience it through your "TALENT". holy moley!
Phenomenal!!! 🤘🤘🤘👌 Sublime soprano!
Amazing music!!
Amazing talented ladies
Where can I see you at USA
Very nice! Always happy to hear new music from Juna and friends!
Bellissimo!!!
Complete Awesomeness!!
I love this! I have this blaring in my house at 8am on a Sunday while cooking breakfast.
Great tune! So much groove and that tone! Love it!
La musique est superbe 🎷 🎸 ✨✨✨✨✨👌🏻

Fantastica!
Great groove, love the ghost notes! Best thing I’ve heard from you in awhile!
