V0 is super cool, but I feel the real challenge is making a full stack app with a solid backend and all the functionality you want. So far I have been struggling to finish a project using AI agents. Easy to start, hard to finish.
The whole thing is a template customizer that's nice to mashup templates with a few customizations but it ends there. Anyone "creating" anything "full app" with AI is wasting their time vs. downloading a complete working codebase on GitHub. Notice how the examples are always restricted to things there's thousands of and I haven't seen one go much beyond the boilerplate from Vercel's NextJS template gallery or Astro's template gallery; they're usually far far short and with way more bugs and hallucinations added in. LLM's at least in this gen are more like really convenient search engines that save the time of clicking through results. When you use them where they are capable they are great at automating out common busywork tasks and saving reading through a bunch of search results to look up common things.
i just remade the complete UI program from the latest software from Fullwood JOZ wich is only teased by a single picture and even changed some things i didnt like. Its incredible software, wow.
It looks basically the same as Anthropic Artifacts which is probably just a rebranded iteration. It doesn’t create anything unique nor does it generate images. I guess I don’t understand the point.

This is very impressive, I am looking forward to see some AIs able to build a fully functional backends with nodejs, python, php, also a variety of cloud services such as firebase, supabase, appwrite, convex, etc. If it is possible, then building a fullstack apps is trully a fun and pleasing thing ❤

I tried it, its promising but not really good yet. The AI makes mistakes repeatedly, changes elements of the site when you are changing unrelated elements in different sections etc. Maybe a year or two and this will be amazing.
Nice to see this, but could you fix these issues through the code so that it can be pasted into the AI editor, Cursor? Hopefully, there will be a follow-up tutorial on this. Thanks!

I am starting to realize these RUclips AI dudes are basically just bullshitters and in a way scam artists by wasting our time and lining their pockets. Don’t get me wrong, there might be a couple channels that are decent but most of them are scams. Hell this dude charges lose to $130 a month for some membership.

You can make thousands of dollars from even just a newsletter website, if you think websites are boring then you don't realize the potential here
