My name is Yvonne. I create and post videos about my daily life with Friesian Horses. I will show you the true Friesian Horse and what they are like: day to day care, training, riding dressage and the very special birthing of foals. My daughter is a funeral home director and she told me, you can never be forgotten as long as there is someone to remember and speak your name..So Uniek can never be forgotten :) I bet little Flower loved being in the arena, Saly is such a sweet protective mom. Bauke is a good man and there is nothing greater in this world as having a spouse who supports you. Continued prayers for you, Boss Rein, Risey, and Glendy.

My first pony died at the time Unik did. He was 33 and a gem of a pony. In his last few years I handed him over to a charity organisation to help raise funds because he could no longer be ridden hard. He did Riding for the disabled, Hire a pony for the day. He helped to switch on the lights at Xmas, even going inside a public building. He helped soldiers with PTSD. I have, like you, had so many compliments on how good he was and how he changed people's lives, I am so proud of him. My Angel. I know where your heart is now and send hugs and a kind smile.

I’m a 69 year old male USA citizen who tries to hold my emotions inside, but to be honest every time I see Queen Uniek, my reserve is tested to its limits. She was named correctly: Unique Queen. There will never be another like her. She stole my heart from the first video I saw when she lost Star, and never let it go. Not to argue, but I would say Yvonne brought us together. I love her best, then the horses.. We wouldn't even know them if it wasn't for her. I watch other horse channels but it's Yvonne who makes this one so very special. She is adorable to the max.

Coralle is a very pretty lady. It has been fascinating to watch her transformation. Not just physically, but emotionally as well. From new girl breaking the wire to be with the other horses, to leader of the herd. She was the one Uniek passed the leadership torch to. Understandably so considering the wonderful gift she has given us all. Thank you sweet Coralle! 💖

I didn't know Yvonne would be able to keep Coralle - I thought she would have to return her after the filly was weaned.?
When I think about all that has happened, it is all kind of a miracle. There would be no Friesian Horses channel without Uniek. She was born at Stal G and then Boss Rein was willing to allow Yvonne to film at his Stal. He was also willing to sell Uniek to Yvonne. Many people were invested in this happening. Uniek unfortunately had a couple of sweet foals die, which left room for Rising Star to come into our lives. Many, many people watched the miracle of Uniek adopting him, and joined the channel. Then Yvonne started her own Stal, and had her terrible accident. We got to see all the love and support in Friesland for Yvonne, and an outpouring of prayers and love coming from all over the world. There have been ups and downs for sure. Rising Star's diagnosis and Uniek's troubles with osteoarthritis. Glendy's diagnosis. BUT: Happy, healthy Spidey, Peach and Mario have been born as well as beautiful Wunder, Yfke, Blomke and Belle. Yvonne has recovered so well, and is riding her wonderful Reintje again. I am sure there will be more competitions in their future. Boss Rein got to ride Uniek on a fun trail ride one last time and Uniek got to witness her own foal being born from her friend Coralle. Uniek showed Yvonne's children that a big horse can be patient and gentle. Uniek left this world having done everything she was supposed to do: teach the whole world that love has no limits and her legacy will live on forever. 🦄🌈💙❤

When you first got Coralle she didn’t want to be touched. Now after your patient handling she can’t stay away from you!! Her and Unieks foal will learn quickly how kind and gentle you are 🐴❤️

Every day is precious with the ones you love. Uniek loved Yvonne so much. She showed it in every video so I’m sure it happened a lot more. What a full life the Queen had. She achieved many milestones in her career, foaled some beautiful offspring, was the leader of her herd, adored by thousands, cherished by Yvonne. A very good life.

@@lisajoyaslanis It's a good thing Baby Belle Uniek doesn't know how much expectation there is for her. It might give her a complex! I worry about what will happen to Coralle after Belle is weaned. I understand that Yvonne may not be able to keep her because of lack of space, contracts or she may just not want to. It's understandable either way. She is a beautiful horse with a sweet temperament. I will miss her if/when she leaves.

I think, for a short moment Saly was about to relax and roll, but when Blomke came near, she remembered her important duty, and just skipped personal relaxation. The devoted Mom she is. ❤

I'm so, so glad that Queen Uniek lived long enough to see her daughter and little Blomke. The next generation will carry on and make the Queen and everyone at Stal H proud.
I think for a second there Saly was just her happy unattached self and wanted to roll in the sand, then immediately remembered Blomke and got up. What a good mum. ETA: Oh and seeing Uniek again was good and sad at the same time.

I think Saly wanted to roll 😂 but then decided to get back up because her baby had never experienced rolling on the ground! ❤ I believe that Saly is that intuitive with her mothering instinct! Bauke is handy to have around. He can build anything Yvonne needs for Stal H, and now he's helping with the horses. Vet cool!
Saly finally got that roll! So much fun watching Blomke learn what those long legs can do! Uniek will always be with you, Yvonne. She is deep in your heart and she won't let go. You have her filly to raise, and she would expect nothing but your best. It happened long before we expected, but gradually we must accept the reality that she's waiting on the other side of the bridge.
Bauke is doing great. I had noticed. He is so talented in many ways. I always remember seeing him working some with Dueke and how I enjoyed it.
Coralle has done so well and has learned more of trust under your care.
You may be gone from us Queen Uniek but you will never be forgotten sweet girl.

Grief is a weird emotion. Sometimes, you’re okay with it… then POW! You get a sucker punch to the stomach. It’ll come out of nowhere too! Just know we all care and love you, Yvonne! The babies help!
Have you ever thought about a memorial garden area? That helps.
I will be busy at work, and the grief will just punch me in the gut... Out of nowhere! I have had rapid tragic grief with my spirit animal, a black lab mix, that died from sepsis of the upper intestine at 3. So I can't imagine where Yvonne is at with her grief. I had two weeks of hell, she had a few hours. The videos are hard to watch now, but time will make them more and more precious to her, her family and friends, and all of the herd.
And Yvonne we'll NEVER forget Queen Uniek EVER!!! She left a huge legacy! The Queen is loved all over the world. We love you most of all and pray for healing ❤️🩹 I know The Queen left a big hole in your heart, but she will always be with you. She adored you Yvonne.💙👑
We all miss Uniek too. She was a beautiful and loving horse. She was yours. I hope the hurt is lessening but Uniek is in no more pain and is in heaven watching over you. Best wishes for your future animal friends. Yes, Bauke is doing GREAT!

I wonder if that is common for all newborn animals? I know kittens are born with blue - once they're open you can see that they're blue and they change by about their sixth to eighth week.

I carried you for 11 months, went through labor and delivery so quickly my eyeballs almost popped out of my head, I nurse you on demand, and now we are out in the paddock and I’m needing a little me time, have a good roll, and you just have run off where I can’t see you😨! Yvonne, Uniek, will never be gone from you, and or the ladies at the stables. Uniek, has a special place always in your heart, and in the heart of those who follow your channel (for many yrs). Uniek, lives in the stable, in the pasture, and in her children she helped give birth to over the years. She even adopted one to raise as her own with no problems. To me that is UNIEK! We know will always be around and all the fond memories, you both share. You must have hundreds of videos of you and her together, right up to nearly the last few days before she became ill. She knew she was yours and you were her's. Thank you for sharing such a gracious Friesian, black beauty, your UNIEK!

Just loved seeing little Belle outside running in the paddock for the first time what a beautiful little filly. Saly is also beautiful and such a good mom. I teared up when I saw Uniek loving on you. My mother once told me no one could take our father from her. She visited him in her mind and relived memories with him all of the time. Yvonne your memories of Uniek will always be with you. I always thought Saly was the most beautiful of all the mares. And, Coralle has certainly learned it's OK to have her head scratched and she has become much more attached to Yvonne and tolerant of other people. I hope she can stay at Stal H after she has the foal.

As far as I know, only ours beloved 👑 Uniek is higher gred then Saly with Kroon Sport mare (If I'm not wrong with gred sequence 🤔😁)
