I was just saying this last week to my brother in law and nephew and brothers, all of whom are huge Bills fan. Josh Allen is DEFINITELY underpaid if you look at some of the new contracts some "lesser" QBs have signed. Most definitely so. It should be addressed.

Josh Allen is smart enough to play the long game, much like Tom Brady played the long game. Brady famously took a pay cut to help his team win multiple Super Bowls. Brady became a household name and made far more in endorsements than in salary. Josh is clearly the 2nd best QB in the league. Josh will accept the lower pay for the good of the team because he will make far more money in the long run. In addition, income paid for endorsements can be in stock or equity, which can have enormous tax benefits compared to salary. The tax rate on Josh's salary is over 50% in NY State, the tax rate on Verizon stock, for example, it is only 15%. This is the Long Game.

As Josh continued to drop down the highest paid QB list, I knew the Bill's may address it. Hopefully Josh isn't too bothered where he stands in relation to others. Maybe they add some extra money in incentives similar to what they did with Poyer.

Allen isnt underpaaid. Other QBs are way overpaid....our manager knows this and wont allow the renegotiation. Watch Trevor Lawrence shit the bed now. Then what? Do we follow suit and just over pay QBs so the rest of the team sucks? I hope our GM has more sense than this.
Allen will renegotiate his contract during the next offseason. This is for the simple fact that his cap hit next year would be $60 million.

Jealous, no! But I am a business man and if you sign a contract for a certain amount of money and a certain amount of time, you should honor that contract. If you wanted more money, you should have never signed the contact. It's irrelevant what someone else is getting paid until your contract is up and ready for renewal. Let phone companies, rent companies, internet companies try this in the middle of a contract that you signed. You have a signed contract for 5 years paying 150 per month but Verizon one day just wanted more money and raised your bill to 500 per month....thats why this world is in the shit shape it's in today....no one honors their word anymore.
I think josh is more concerned about winning a championship 😊. Those high paying qb right now(trevor Lawrence, justin herbert) lets be real they not winning no superbowl in the next 5 years. I agree josh will probably go to the gm in the next couple of years
