Yes and after hes auction money he bought those same logo comics separetly again for around 1200 dollars and graded them and made again 48k, insane profits for this mastermind of human being!
I would never tell Rick how much I want for something when he is going to get his expert. Telling Rick the price gives them a chance to lower the price for the seller before Rick's expert sees them.
You do understand that these deals are closed and experts examines these items and their value well before they actually shoot the scene? Basically on the show they are just acting
Im sorry, I can't take this guy seriously. If those comics were 9s or 10s and there was a market for that type of niche, then maybe he would get about $10k. However, with grades as low as 5 or 6, he is lucky he was told it was worth $2k. The only reason anyone would by a grade that low, is to just say they have one in collection, or because it was the only graded issue ever. It's not financially worth it outside of those two reasons. Think of trading cards, the lower scores don't sell as much as the higher scores. That's how it goes and he needs to understand that.
I agree, I wouldn't pay the difference between a 9.8 vs a 9.6 as most people wouldn't notice the difference, yet the difference could be in the thousands. I rather use that money for something else. The only way would be if I was a millionaire.
Funny you say that. I just watched a RUclips video a couple days ago talking about how the market for graded comics has completely crashed. People are realizing keeping something in a sealed plastic shell you can't actually enjoy it.
Show us the link then. And even if that were true after the auction fee he made 40k. And rick would have lose huge money if he paid anywhere close to 50k
50K Delusional
It’s amazing that this was actually sold for $60k at auction. This guy is a genius. Good on him. Like below to auction sale.

I don’t understand why people sell what they collect to buy more of what they collect…
Det er fordi de er avhengige. De klarer ikke å slutte å kjøpe og selge
this grading system has ruined collecting... taking something worth 10 bucks and now it can be sold for 100... B.S.

Yeah I agree plus it’s just people’s opinions if it’s rare and valuable it doesn’t matter that much
U bugging it made it better

@@nordy259 yeah, I want to open and read the actual pages of the original comics, not something digital.
When I was a boy I got most of this comics, when I grew up I threw them away 💯😭💰
“Let me give MY buddy a call” to tell you what your stuff is worth.
I mean the guy clearly had no idea the value based off his insane asking price. So what’s your point?…
@@Bbp6959 I agree. The point is never take an evaluation price for something someone is trying to sell from the buyers paid “friend”.
Rick: "The cover price says ten cents. Best I can offer if five cents each. I need to make a profit."
You asking 50k for a bunch of CGC 5s? You are crazy!
50 tusen er de desidert ikke verdt. Men mer enn to tusen er de desidert verdt. Rick og ekspertene samarbeider ofte om pris
Glad He Went To Auction They Sold For $60,000 I just Looked It Up
Rick might have offered him 1200 dollars tops? 🤣🤣🤣
@@Bullrider33Outdoors That's a lie.
if that is true, I have the three golden age books and I would sell them all day long for much less

@@osskeet It's clearly a lie. I know about comic books. It's such a clear LIE that I didn't have to look it up.
I would ask him to bring me a set for 3k then if its so easy
@@zuzuanddee Some of those comics are very easy to find. A couple of them might take a while. But they're not worth much.
HA HA !!! 😂
The English low baller.
If Rick pays $50K for items that auction for $2K...he will be out-of-business fast.
But He Went To Auction And They Sold For $60,000
