    I have an easier solution for PB! Turn the jar upside down for a few hours, the oil disperses throughout!

      Yes, I just store it upside down in the pantry until it’s time to open it, then I stir it, then I store it upside down in the fridge

      I turn mine upside down or on it's side before I know I have to open. Then I stir with a knife. Using the mixer doesn't cause it to splatter?

      I turn mine upside down as soon as I take it off the shelf at the store. Then at home it doesn’t take much longer to finish.

    The one with the cheese hack, I never knew where that originated from and I never was told to or saw it somewhere else. One day I just kind of figured it out myself and have used it ever since. Not saying I invented it obviously but it's nice to know that something I've been doing for years, is also considered an ingenious hack because I always thought it was kind of clever too and this confirms that it is in fact a good idea

    I store my freezer goods in their original bag inside an appropriate sized freezer bag. So much easier for me to simply zip & unzip the freezer bag. On the sticker, if you don’t have a blow dryer or goo gone, peanut butter works to remove labels.

    Removing dried on paint and cheese storage are my faves. I have ancient clothes with a rainbow of colours used over years of painting, but still, somehow, paint gets where it shouldn't. And, I spend ages halving and wrapping cheese packages, so that cut end hack is a chef's 💋 😊.

    Peanut butter - 1 mixer blade, brilliant. I buy all natural also and it always separates. Tried various things to mix it but never thought of this one.
    Cheese chunk - I saw a tik Tok for storing the way you demonstrated, it's a great one, hope I remember it next time I cut a new chunk.
    All others are also good tips!

    • @ohnoyce

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  15 дней назад

      There are enzymes + bleach in dishwasher tabs that seem to deal with the baked on grease better for me, but liquid would be worth a try first!

    Even better for the oven racks, take a dishwasher tablet and a laundry pod and dissolve it in hot water. Submerge the racks completely in the water, and let them soak for hours. I normally let mine soak all day. If it does not fit in the sink a bathtub can work, or a large plastic container. Everything will just melt right off with minimal scrubbing. It works amazing.

    • @lindaroyal8161

      Lime Away Product works very well for toilet cleaning. May have to scrape the line with a putty knife, if it's really hard, store it with the toilet brush.
      They make plastic putty knives, metal one may scratch.
