This and last episode real showed that Dean is way smarter than we give him credit for. OR more than he gives himself credit for.
After Jensen said Baby in a Trenchcoat, Mischa forgot his lines so he just stared out the window. Then Jared ad-libs "I think you hurt his feelings."
There's a cute meme that came out of this episode. It's when Sam, Dean, Bobby and Cas are standing outside and Dean is facing away.. Dean hasn't been unlocked yet.
I loved how they handled Eve, personally. Because you ARE expecting her to big the Big Bad until the end. The sudden unexpectedness of finding out she was a Red Herring perfectly accomplished it’s goal of throwing the viewer completely off their game. Because like you, we are always trying to spoil ourselves and guess the ending.
6:40 you paused it perfectly. I saw one meme about this, they stand so weirdly like in the game, character menu, and you chose your character, except Dean is not unlocked yet.. and it really does look like that 😂
This season felt a lot like spider-man 3. Many different storylines going on - probably too many which kinda made it messy…
I heard that when Dean tells Cas that he’s just a baby in a trench coat, Misha forgot what his next line was so he just turned away, and Jared continued the ad-lib with “you hurt his feelings” lol

This episode has a lot of iconic lines and scenes : Cass get out of my ass, Baby in a Trenchcoat, Jefferson Starships, cameo of mother Mary and Crowley's return. So full packed with good stuff. The death of Eve was surprising and to soon, they could have done more with her character. That's the problem with the whole season. There are too many (actually interesting) plot lines, so everything is just half baked and far too rushed. But nevertheless I like and enjoyed season 6 a lot.
As you see with season 6, Gamble just doesn't know what or where she's going. Jumping from plot to plot in search of an over all story. Soulless Sam-next-Alpha Monsters-next-Mother Of All Eve-next. Oh, lets get back to.......
Season 7 is even worse.

Cas, what mess are you in now?! I’m so glad they brought Crowley back, but you’re right. There’s way too much going on this season.
I would've liked Eve to stick around longer as well but i guess she is the secondary antagonist and we gotta focus on the main one (Crowley). Regarding the fan edits with Destiel they actually don't contain the moments you point out unless it's for a funny type of video lmao.
Also Dean is probably the most empathetic character on the show he has a HUGE heart and always puts others first
I'm so sad they wasted the idea of the Mother of Monsters like this. I think this season could have easily been filled out by the chaos and civil wars in Heaven and Hell. In Hell, Lucifer was proven beatable, and all the major players like Lilith, Azazel, Alistair, and Ruby are all gone; a perfect setting for a brutal, back-stabbing scramble for power. The brothers could find themselves faced with the choice of whether to fight all demons, or actually work with Crowley as the least-worst option; a Crossroads demon as king of Hell, focusing on deals rather than vicious attacks on humans. I would LOVE to see "wanted to be a lawyer"-Sam going up against Crowley's slippery cunning as they try to craft a compromise contract for how demons are to interact with humans, in exchange for their help securing him the crown.
The Mother of Monsters feels like a villain that should havr united monster factions against humans, making them coordinate and cooperate now that Mother is back. That would make the monsters a more formidable enemy again, and force the brothers to change their approach. Small two-person hunting teams won't cut it if you're up against an organised monster faction!

I was disappointed that Eve died here. The mother of all monsters goes out that quick and easy? They could've done a little more with her, but they had to make room for the next 3 episodes to wrap up the rest of the story for the season (the way it plays out is fantastic so it kinda makes up for it). But again, too many big plot points in my opinion, and by the end it just feels too messy
Yeah Eve is one of the other things that I was thinking of when I mentioned the things they dropped the ball on along with the Seven Deadlies and the Seals. Super disappointing because she could've been a really awesome big bad

season 6 of supernatural reminds me of season 4 of teen wolf, so much potential in some of these storylines and episodes but too many plotlines and messy writing leaving everything just feeling like a mess
