- A quick tutorial on "smoking" or "blacked out" tailights.
Materials
SX1050 Adhesion Promotor
Tint coat mix is by weight.
DBC500 Color Blender 100.0p DMD1683 Basecoat Black. 5.0p
Then reduced 1:1 with DT895 Reducer
VC5700 Clearcoat
VH7795 Hardner
DT895 Reducer

Never realized that was possible to darken a clear lens assy, the best direction as always period

I love your vids you do great work man. I recently tinted my headlights and taillights and ended up having to sand my taillights back down to the plastic not because they were too dark. But because I didn’t give it enough time to flash before clearing them. 😅

Hey mate every time I do headlights and tail lights they craze up slightly. Am I laying clearcoat on to heavy? I’m using plastic primer first
