This is among the most beautiful Es to ever roll out of Sindelfingen... it's an AMG for us middle class--especially 6-years on, so much depreciation done. No longer must we torture ourselves justifying the huge expense of a V8 E63 AMG. Yet I'm deeply attached to my Black 2005 W211 E350--only 109,000 km, she's original, immaculate, no expense spared on her... But a snorting Black 2018 E43 AMG 4-Matic lurks nearby, original owner selling, etc. etc. Do I be sensible or just go for the stunning E43 AMG?
I think it's even better than E63,because it combines sportiness and comfort all together!E63 is way too sporty which is not compatible for the the elegant spirit of E-Class.

You mentioned the key in this review and the fact that the E43 should come with the AMG emblem on the key, is that true? I purchased a 2018 Mercedes AMG E43 yesterday and was told by the dealership only the E63 comes with the AMG key. Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

WhAT Happened to the Tail lights??? It looks like a C series now!! The Rectangle tail lights made so much more sense on the E class!

CORRECTIONS: Need an extra button on the Driver’s side to control the Passenger Seat, NOT AMG Steering wheel. It’s just the Racing Steering wheel. The AMG has badging at 6oclock and Alcantara

Great video but things like opening and closing the windows via remote has been the norm for most European and Asian cars for well over a decade and a half. More focus on features that differentiate this E class versus its competitors; like why should I buy over a 5 series??

Brief facts for anyone interested; This car is based on an E400, has only AMG elements, emblems etc. This car has no AMG engine. If the seller had been honest, he would have opened the hood and said that it is not an AMG engine (which is why the key has no AMG emblem). Engine is old and has been upgraded a bit. And I thought the seller knew his way around. Otherwise a car with the "current quality" that is delivered.

It is not WI-FI it is NFC (Near-Field Communication) which means you can unlock the car only if the key(or your phone with a programmed NFC tag) is near the door.

Right/Left side of the steering wheel (not Right/Left part), The headlights illumination is normal because that's what lights do, you meant Fade-in or brighten as they appear, find some other words than beautiful because the repetition makes it boring, etc. Other than that it is very good. Keep up the good work.
