I love the scent "L'Ete en Douce" by L'Artisan Parfumeur. It's described as "The story of a sweet and tender summer. White linen sheets blow gently in the breeze, while a faint scent of orange blossom wafts through the air." and that is exactly what it reminds me of, newly washed linen drying in a sunny summer breeze. 💛☀
I love the smell of clean sheets. I love glossier you for this reason too.

Thank you for this thoughtful collection of clean laundry fragrances. I adore a fragrance that has a clean smell and is also elegant. One of my favorites is Diptyque's "Eau des Sens"❤ Can't live without it!
I live on an island with extreme heat and humidity, so this kind of fragrance is my jam, thanks a lot
Blanche is really far from the fragrances I normally like, but I really love it. Something about the scent that makes me feel safe and happy. 😊 Also some sort of reminder of different times, even though I can't put my finger on any actual memories that connect to the scent.
It used to be the "room fragrance line" in my favorite hotel in Stockholm during a period when I spent a lot of time there for work. Not far from the Byredo office actually, at least at the time. That's how I discovered both the scent and the brand.

Thank you for the detailed video! I think, for me, the most stable type of scent profile I would prefer to wear for the rest of my life will be clean, soapy, laundry, musky, and soft fragrances :D Nowadays, I am obsessed with Naviglio by Milano Fragranze. It's like a beautiful white bar soap with petitgrain, lavender, and musk. I think it also performs well.
Nice video, Sebastian. My 3 favorite clean linen scents, in my collection, are: Parole d'Eau (Serge Lutens), Amen (Philosophy) and Florentine Iris edp (Ermenegildo Zegna).

Yes yes yes this is my topic!!!!! I'm wearing Et Voila from Teo Cabonel lately. I love love love soapy smells.
There are days when I really crave this scent category. Seems to energize and focus my mind. My go to is Nasamato Silver Musk, but I need to purchase Prada L'Homme Amber again. Great video Sebastian.
To my surprise this is my favorite scent profile, it’s just perfect for everyday and any season.
I have been on a clean musk kick this summer so a few of these sound great. I think the first ones I'd like to try are Laurent Mazzone Aldehyx and Xerjoff Appolonia. Thanks for sharing!

I also have Dior Cologne Blanche and Bryredo Young Rose, both fresh but I feel Dior Cologne Blanche is a comforting cold winters day scent. Young Rose vibrant, yet gentle, fresh and sparkling, unfortunately does not last that long on me. Not a laundry scent but as one of my favourites had to mention it 😂

I love clean smelling fragrances. I don’t know if I will ever try Byredo again. I was burned on a blind buy. It was so bad that I actually blocked the name from my memory. It smelled like rotting trash. My dog even sneezed around me when I was wearing it. Chalk it up to experience. Love the channel. Will try some new fragrances. Thank you.
I like Prada Amber Pour Homme. I stocked up on it when I heard that it's discontinued. To this list, I might add Lacoste Eau de Lacoste L.12.12. White. I hope to try the other ones which you mentioned in this video.

Prada L'Homme and Prada L'Homme Watersplash are the best laundry smelling perfumes EVER made. Prada Amber is also up there but is more complex

Years ago I used a cologne that had the most magnificent scent--the name was Tabac. It had a mild, clean scent, and I would get compliments wherever I went. Over the years, for some odd reason, they changed their formula that changed the scent significantly. Have been looking for any cologne that somewhat replicates the scent of the old Tabac.
Always loving discovering new fragrances, i recently find some beautiful scents that could make the list Libre L'Absolu Platine Yves Saint Laurent, Kryptonite Khalil T. and Valentino Donna Born in Roma Green Stravaganza Valentino.
Century is great, also like Prada Infusion Iris + Cedar super clean
Castile is a firm favourite of mine. To me it's a late evening in the garden during a hot summer, glass of wine in hand, and the violently-coloured sunsets overhead.
I want to try it now just from your beautiful imagery.

I never got into that fragrance. Not sure why. More of a barbershop scent to me but still never got into it. :)
My favorite fragrance family! Byredo Blanche is my ULTIMATE. Chanel Jersey, MFK Feminin Pluriel, L’eau Papier from Diptyque… so amazing

Haven't tried Prada Amber pour Homme, but Prada Infusion d'Homme is very nice
Ishtar by Roja Parfums is super soapy and clean (mostly from resins). Also, Violets du Czar by Oriza Le Grande smells just like violet bubble bath.
Also: L'Eau Serge Lutens smells like freshly-ironed shirts. Probably others among Lutens's eaux (L'eau Froide, Laine de Verre, etc.) smell like laundry, too.

Clean soapy scents are comforting and relaxing to me. None of them last on me though. I do enjoy Giorgio Armani - Ocean di Gioia and Elizabeth Arden - White Tea. 🥰

Just bought Fragrance du Bois - Oud Vert Intense. It smells like a luxury soap. Highly recommend it!

Clean Reserve for men is a very soapy/fabric softener scent to it.

I believe for a price point of 100 - 300 USD per 50-100 ml bottle, we should get some return that surpasses the smell of a bar of soap in concentration and quality. Of course, especially on wicked hot days, I crave an indicator of cleanliness, and on those days, I go with Elizabeth Arden or Narciso Rodriguez tops. I would never splash that much on MFK AU, Byredo Blanche, or Nasomatto China White etc.
I have not invested in any fragrances that fall into this category. I do have 2 soapy fragrances though, Ô D'Azur by Lancôme (discontinued), and Un Jardin Sur Le Toit by Hermès. Although I used to wear these as almost my signature fragrances back in the day, now I use them more as my bedtime scents.
I also used UJSLToit as my signature scent -for 11 years straight!

By the way, quite a few fragrances by Santa Maria Novella would also fit in this category.
I used to love Acca Kappa Muschio Bianco. Or was it called White moss years ago? I haven’t smelled it in a long time but I’d love to get a bottle. Hope they haven’t changed it.

Amber pour homme is discontinued. But you could have chosen a few other Pradas created by the same nose (Daniela Andrier), who happens to be a master at creating laundry-like fragrances, such as Prada Homme l'Eau, or Infusion d'Iris Cèdre (whose name was Infusion d'Homme, and it was a shame they renamed it). Even the original Luna Rossa, also by Andrier, might fit in this category (although its mint-like note perhaps blurs the laundry vibe in this one).

Sebastian, if you haven’t already, try Diptyque’s L’Eau Papier - that would make my top 5 clean laundry fragrances.

Just got Bentley Exotic Musk and it kind of has this quality.
Unrelated, I just got my bottle of Ambra Calabria, and I remember just recently you were saying how it was kind of similar to its cousin, Wulong Cha. I've had the latter for some time and couldn't understand how the tea based fragrance would be similar to a fresh amber fragrance. Now that I have both I totally understand what you mean, however I'm leaning more toward the amber.
The Amber is so good I put off really embracing the Wulong Cha for the longest time!! :)
Frederic Malle's Outrageous also smells like laundry detergent.

I had to give away Blanche, it smelled like detergant to my nose, something was so synthetic and repulsive in it. It came in a set of 3 Byredo fragrances.
I'm not a huge fan of soapy fragrances but I do enjoy the sweeter and cleaner side of neroli/orange blossom. Musks are challenging for me, too.

Labdanum 18 is so good but I haven't thought of it as a laundry smell. I'll have to circle around to it to check again.

Definitely a clean, musky fragrance with legs.
Have you tried Patchouli Blanc by Reminiscence? That one feels more like “clean laundry” than patchouli for me. It has aldehydes, star anise, patchouli and lots of white musk. While it is nothing like the original Patchouli, I do enjoy it for what it is.

I adore Clean Reserve - Rain fragrance, but having a hard time identify its category. Do you think it’s a clean/laundry fragrance? Do you have other recommendations that have the same smell like that but better longevity?
There's a Fragrance Called Clean for Men that smells like Dryer Sheets to me. It's a cheapie but you only need 2 sprays or it starts to get Overpowering.
