the CLEAN reserve Skin? i have a bunch of CLEAN reserves... and if you spray it once on an area it has no longevity, but if you notice, in the light, where you sprayed it, there is a bit of a shiny coating on your skin... and if you wait for it to dry and spray it again in the exact same spot, you will get a TON of longevity, like all day!! lol you're welcome xoxox
Pro tip: if you spray RM5 away from your skin, the rubber tone that some people complain about (saffron) isn’t at all prominent. The closer to your skin that you apply, the more rubbery this beautiful scent feels.
The older I get, the more I prefer "non-perfumey" fragrances (if that makes sense). Thanks to your recomendation over and over again, I picked up Clean Reserve Skin last year and it quickly became one of my favorites, if not my number one favorite fragrance to wear. For me, I find the perfume underwhelming, & I struggle to smell much, it's possible that I may be a bit anosmic to it. I do however have the deodorant and it's my go to, I can smell that all day and I agree that it has a subtle sexiness :)

He’s sooo in love with A13 and describes it as the smell of walking through a meadow. He loves catching whiffs of it throughout the day so idk if Arizona Bloom would have enough oomph for him lol. I recently purchased Clean Skin and Vanilla Eau Freiche, and it's such a comfort scent. I've been using it to bed. It's similar to Skin but a little warmer and fresher. My favorite musks are Lumiere Blanche (Olfactive Studio), Intime Extime, and Le Musc & la Peau (all comforting, slightly sweet, beautifully blended musks). I really want to try Santal 33, but I haven't been able to get a sample.

Great list. Le Musc & La Peau by Pierre Guillame Paris is one of my favorite musk fragrances also. Might wanna give a try with that one. Clean Musk from Authenticity was better than I thought it would be also.
Le Musc & La Peau 4.1 has got some aldehydes in the note break down. What I get it is mostly a very clean musk that turns creamy with a little sweetness from the tonka and sandlewood. An out of the shower type freshness. Very good on skin. Very versatile and unisex down the middle. Truly a musk scent that does not let the aldehydes overtake it. In my opinion. Im not the biggest aldehyde supporter either.

If you have any time, do you have any personal recommendations for someone who likes aquatics/citrusy scents - so far, I've had some luck with Jo Malone Nectarine & Honey (smells straight up like a fresh nectarine) and Blackberry and Bay (again, a very pure, true-to-life fresh, summery, fruity smell) - but I'm looking for something a little more sophisticated than blatantly fruity notes. Love florals, but every single floral fragrance I've tried on my body gives me headaches/nausea... I'm on the point of giving up and would appreciate any advice from you, Anne! I was wondering if you’d tried Valaya and if you like it? We seem to like and dislike the same perfumes and I’m curious before possibly blind buying it x
It's very similar to Fleur Narcotique. I really loved the opening, it's an elegant, fresh, clean, bright, fruity floral, but the dry down is very musky and aldehydic. It's too soapy clean for me and becomes much more floral as it dries down and loses that hint of fruity sweetness. I don't think it's a safe blind buy and would definitely recommend sampling first!
I also dont like all musks either but some are great. I have CRS radiant Nectar its gorgeous smells like brown sugar on my skin! musk therapy is gorgeous but not for the price its too much designer smelling to my nose. some of these others sound amazing

Anna! I'm distraught and would love your thoughts. I bought Another 13 sample direct from Le Labo..was enchanted so I bought a bottle from Saks. It smells faintly like B.O./moldy 😢 I don't get anything lovely I did from the sample..should I return or does it need to macerate? I'm really so sad because I thought this was the ONE. My signature.. I actually ordered another sample from Le Labo to compare. I'm so confused 😕 I'm starting to wonder if maybe I remember the sample wrong- or that I've been on a molecule fragrences binge and maybe I can't smell the same. I remember it being strong, metallic and clean synthetic smelling but not laundry like Juliette Has a Gun. Am I going crazy? 😂 I just ordered a sample of the 11 11..I've been enjoying the molecule perfumes lately. I also got a 10ml of Arizona Bloom, as I'd heard it was a dupe for Another 13..all I can smell on my skin is literal coconut oil? 🥥 I think my nose is broke 💔
Oh I don't know! I haven't experienced that before. We've never had to have our Another 13 macerate. It's possible that maybe your nose changed a bit or maybe something happened with that particular batch, but Saks is definitely a reliable place to purchase from. You could return it and try purchasing from somewhere else to see but I'm really not sure. Molecular fragrances can be tricky because some people go anosmic to them
Which one of these would you say is the closest to Kayali Musk 12? I believe they’re discontinuing that fragrance and I’m so sad about it, as I’ve always enjoyed it.

If you have any time, do you have any personal recommendations for someone who likes aquatics/citrusy scents - so far, I've had some luck with Jo Malone Nectarine & Honey (smells straight up like a fresh nectarine) and Blackberry and Bay (again, a very pure, true-to-life fresh, summery, fruity smell) - but I'm looking for something a little more sophisticated than blatantly fruity notes. Love florals, but every single floral fragrance I've tried on my body gives me headaches/nausea... I'm on the point of giving up and would appreciate any advice from you, Anne! I was wondering if you’d tried Valaya and if you like it? We seem to like and dislike the same perfumes and I’m curious before possibly blind buying it x
It's very similar to Fleur Narcotique. I really loved the opening, it's an elegant, fresh, clean, bright, fruity floral, but the dry down is very musky and aldehydic. It's too soapy clean for me and becomes much more floral as it dries down and loses that hint of fruity sweetness. I don't think it's a safe blind buy and would definitely recommend sampling first!
What perfume is closest to Jovan White Musk???? I love that perfume but I'm looking for the same scent but a little more stronger and long lasting.

I also dont like all musks either but some are great. I have CRS radiant Nectar its gorgeous smells like brown sugar on my skin! musk therapy is gorgeous but not for the price its too much designer smelling to my nose. some of these others sound amazing

Anna! I'm distraught and would love your thoughts. I bought Another 13 sample direct from Le Labo..was enchanted so I bought a bottle from Saks. It smells faintly like B.O./moldy 😢 I don't get anything lovely I did from the sample..should I return or does it need to macerate? I'm really so sad because I thought this was the ONE. My signature.. I actually ordered another sample from Le Labo to compare. I'm so confused 😕 I'm starting to wonder if maybe I remember the sample wrong- or that I've been on a molecule fragrences binge and maybe I can't smell the same. I remember it being strong, metallic and clean synthetic smelling but not laundry like Juliette Has a Gun. Am I going crazy? 😂 I just ordered a sample of the 11 11..I've been enjoying the molecule perfumes lately. I also got a 10ml of Arizona Bloom, as I'd heard it was a dupe for Another 13..all I can smell on my skin is literal coconut oil? 🥥 I think my nose is broke 💔
Oh I don't know! I haven't experienced that before. We've never had to have our Another 13 macerate. It's possible that maybe your nose changed a bit or maybe something happened with that particular batch, but Saks is definitely a reliable place to purchase from. You could return it and try purchasing from somewhere else to see but I'm really not sure. Molecular fragrances can be tricky because some people go anosmic to them
