In today's video we are covering the best modern aldehydic fragrances; they are all soapy, clean smelling perfumes but with a modern day feel. This list includes women's fragrances as well as men's fragrances. It's a mixture of designer perfumes, affordable fragrances and niche fragrances as well.

I love this move to cleaner, softer scents on your channel. As I become more mature in my taste I gravitate to the more clean and sophisticated fragrances.

It isn't aldehydic, but English Pear and Freesia by Jo Malone is my go-to scent when I want to smell like an immaculate, high-end soap. Thanks for your ideas.

@@biscuits694 It's quite decent in its lasting power for Jo Malone. I'd say 3-4 hours. It really is lovely.
Could you also add in your reviews, whether a scent is warm or cool. I prefer cool bec it is just more fresh and clean versus warm scents. Thank you
I’m interested in trying the D&G and Stairway to Heaven. I’m so happy you are reviewing some key modern aldehydes. I confess that I am a serious fan of this note , having enjoyed White Linen and Correges in blue for many years. I find the scent of aldehydes to be intriguing! Great video! Thank you!
I didn’t like aldehydes at the start of my perfume obsession about a year ago, but I’ve grown to really love them and recently I’ve been craving them. I even really like some of the vintage aldehydic frags now, like Rive Gauche. I absolutely LOVE Jul et Mad Stairway to Heaven. I think it’s such a unique and special fragrance. One of my newest loves is Chanel No. 5 L’Eau. I am going to wear it a ton this spring and summer. I am really interested in trying the Masque Milano one you recommended here. Thanks so much! 🙃
I recently purchased the Replica Memory box and I totally agree with you on Bubble Bath and LSM. If I were to purchase a freshie, it would be Bubble Bath for sure.
You were spot on with the Replica descriptions, Lazy Sunday Morning smells like dryer sheets to me. I'm not a fan, but I LOVE Bubble Bath!
Love Chloe is my favorite soapy fragrance. Even though it has been discontinued, it is still available in a few places. On me, it smells just like Dial soap, very clean and fresh!
You do a great job describing these fragrances. I love coriander as a note; dying to smell the D&G Red.

Stairway to Heaven was a love at first sniff for me, I am born on the 24 of December and when I smelled Jul et Mad I instantly thought this is how frosty Xmas Eve mornings in the mountains smell like🤣🤣💜I also wanted to try Metallique for the longest time..great selection😊need to sample Bubble Bath by Maison Margiela.
In the beginning off my journey scent i did not enjoyed soapy scents, i just got an sample off Michael Kors Wonderlust edp its a beautiful soapy scent but not long lasting. Another perfume i got is crystal violet musk from Kim Kardashian. I'm curious off what others suggest off soapy scents. I like the context and the video, well done! Looking forward to another video off clean and soapy scents. 👍
Hi Yana! If YSL's Yvreese struck me as full of aldehydes back when I first experienced it. Something about the champagne bubbliness ( a word? 🤣) of it reminded me of the sparkly nature of aldehydes. I love the playfulness of MM Bubble Bath and still have the Rosine fragrance to sample, *right* as I'm reminded I can order a sample from you. You look marvelous, darling and I hope you, the man in your life and the bambino are on a sleep schedule all can live with. Warm wishes to you all.
My favorite at the moment is Exit The King by Etat Libre d’Orange. It is soo good! A bit Classic smelling yet still modern & wearable! 😍 Loving it!
Another non aldehydic scent is Bvlgari Au de Blanc (white tea) my all-time clean smelling spring/summer scent. I need to try some of your great selections.

I’m very intrigued by Masque Milano fragrances! Lost Alice is one of their perfumes I’ve wanted to try as well. I love the north bondi smell in the Ouai products but wondered about their lasting power.
I love Lazy Sunday...it's my favorite rainy day scent. I have Bubble Bath on list to try.
Love this too… but for the life of me I can’t figure out why people think it smells like laundry?? This is a (soft) rose musk to me, the patchouli grounds it. I’ve never had a detergent smell like this (unlike a scent like Amazing Grace, which to me is much more dryer sheet like)
Pikovaya Dama fits this category perfectly. I still have not pulled the trigger on it for some reason , I think it is a bit too strong although I love the dry down. I am intrigued with Jul et Mad, I own Acqua Sextius and absolutelylove it and I want to get more, I need to sample. Stairway to Heaven sounds too feminine for me

My current favorite soapy scent is "Blanche" by Byredo, it's a great grab and go to work perfume 😊
I also really like bubble bath (can I say that sometime, to often for the price, I spray it on my pillows ☺️ great confort scent for me) and I religiously spray Lazy Sunday morning every Sunday morning when the weather is bad and I want to stay in bed 😂!
I absolutely love Blanche and have a bottle that's almost completely used up 😆how I forgot to include it in this list is beyond me LOL

This is my fave type of fragrances. I love smelling clean and fresh. I’m the opposite as I much prefer LSM to BB. BB smells way too masculine on me. LSM smells so clean and laundry like. Love it.
There’s one by Courreges (French brand) it’s relatively new called C and it smells divine, super fresh and clean, like clean laundry it’s amazing.

Have you tried the Clean Classic and Clean Reserve lines? They might work well for you.

French Lime blossom a discontinue scent from Jo Malone use to be my go to soap scent.
Pinrose’s Pillowtalk Poet comes off like a powdery aldehyde to me. Clean, airy, light.
My go to is Miami glow 😂 smells like expensive bubble bath and to my nose super similar to bubble bath by replica ! My husband loves it too

I find all almost all the ELDO fragances to be pretty aldehydic , like a house sign for them specially rien, ghost in the shell and exit the king

I have Prada L'homme and I noticed that woman love it! But I'm running out of it and might buy a back up bottle,but was looking for something a little different but just as good? I also have Prada L'Homme L'eau and like it but was told that it smells like bubble bath.

Hey girlie! Can you please make another oil perfumery review with the newer scents ex. Italica, Lira, Orchidee Vanille, matcha meditation, Rolling in love, princess etc…. 🤗
I have one coming up for Generic Perfumes in early May and I got Matcha Meditation, Princess and a few other new releases. I've kind of switched over to them since oil Perfumery changed something in their formulas, tbh I found some of them less accurate lately

Have you tried Chanel No. 5 L’eau? I was surprised but how easy to wear it is. I also like Guerlain Cruel Gardenia - it smells like a thick high end body lotion.

I recently discovered Lattafa La African Drummer which does have a creamy, soapy scent about it, I would recommend it as it is also on the affordable side
Bubble Bath does really smell like a bubble bath..but the price is ridiculous. I don't like any of their line. Reminds me of what you can get at Bath and Body Works

My mom is into different kinds of unique soaps. Why? I don't know. Stuff I've never heard of. No Dove or Dial. Anything you recommended for a woman's unique types of bar soap.
There is one from Maison Violet called Nuee Bleue (they have a fragrance as well) the soap is perfection
