Use CONTEXT. The tool is $4.98 It’s not going to be a Leatherman. User perspective. Sharpen the blade, adjust the pivot points and it’s a great little $5 tool.
@ the bottle opener is a slip joint but not the knife. What sense does that make?? Can you name a folding knife that doesn’t have at least a slip joint lock up? Didn’t think so
Anything Kobalt brand, I hate. I tried out their 50 piece tool box kit for $20, and I returned it. Their tools are cheap as hell. Anyone who has picked up a tool in their life can immediately tell that its cheap.

@PrestigeWhirlwide Brands like Kobalt has their place. The average diy homeowner wouldn't care about quality of their tools, if they are using it once a year. I still stand that their tools are dog crap. I put them above the no identifiable name tools.
It really depends on the exact tool. Theres a ton of great Kobalt tools out there. Theres a ton of crap Kobalt tools that are crap. Pay att to what exactly the tool youre buying, manufacture origin etc.
@justins.2429 every kobalt tool that I ever came across if I just spent a bit more money I could've had a better quality tool. To me it's about price vs quality. I just don't see the value I'm getting out of kobalt.
