They will weld metal plates on top of each column rebar before putting the roof beams and trusses. That will leave air gaps around the rebar and metal plates which are prone to corrosion. To avoid that; demand your contractor to fill that air gap with Non-Shrinks Grout cement till it is above the top face of those metal plates.
