    Why not put hooks to hang it on the tools panel when not in use?

      That was actually the original design for this. I was going to use a French cleat system but decided to just store it on my back bench.

    tape was a good idear, i used shellac around glue areas and it worked good also a quick dry prefinish

    A high-class shop chisel holder! I see you are using those MATCHFIT Dovetail Clamps - as you say 'worth their weight in gold'. The versatility of your tenoning jig is an excellent demonstration.
