My mom was diagnosed with Dementia early last year. The doctors put my mom on a newish tablet that they claim to slow down the dementia & adds on extra years on their lives. Mom has gotten very confused & forgetful. She's 85 yes old this year & lived at home until recently. I treat my mom the same way as I have always done & funny enough she still remembers me but not the others. I feel for Bruce's family. I really do. But always remember they are still your parent and give them the same respect as you did before their illness. At the end of the day put yourself in their shoes. They are frightened as they don't understand what's wrong with them. Hi from the West of Ireland

When i first Visited my Grandparents who raised me in my Country after Migrating to Germany no one told me that my Grandma is suffering Demensia. When i arrived home she Recognized me in the first 20min she was Happy then after an hour trying to talk to her and she just looking at me like i was a Stranger that was the time that our family told me about it i was Deeply Sadden like i already lose her forever 😔..
I’m really sad about this Bruce has been one of my favourite actors for a long time … I rewatch a lot of his films. So glad he has his whole family supporting him while facing this 😢❤
I've had short periods in my life when my head hasn´t been working right and with occasional tendencies similar to aphasia and Parkinson's. Bruce's condition is probably much more serious and I don't want to down-play it, but I can share a few things that have helped me getting past those moments and back to a clear mind: - drinking much water, - avoiding alcohol, - avoiding sugar, - physical exercise, - eating healthy, - solving chess problems.
It doesn't matter. You're gonna get what you're supposed to get. You can do all of those things and still catch dementia. Your age is what causes that, not anything else. The older you get, the more prone you become. My auntie never smoked, drink alcohol, etc. and she still caught cancer. My grandma was very healthy and active and she still caught Alzheimer's. Both are long gone. It doesn't matter what you do, when its time...its time.

My heart goes out to The Willis Family, I remember Bruce on the show Moonlighting and countless others. My dad was a tough SOB from The Bronx, but when dementia took hold there was no turning back. I myself have been battling stage IV cancer for 14 years and I thank God for what I have. God Bless from your friends in NY.
My partner had same diagnosis at 55 years old, he passed away September 2022, it is an evil disease, but the best way to deal to make their life good is you have to live in their world don't try to make them fit yours.

I just watched unbreakable and all those years of watching Bruce Willis his magnetic personallity, his Talented acting and delightful demeanor even his singing was a joy to watch as the tongue and cheek Hudson Hawk. It is truly pathetic that we have the technology to fix his brain problem but greed stands in the way! it is the human races largest problem we have certain people whose lack of empathy, it use to put them into the jailhouse, as they murder they're way through life only to die loaded with more money than 50 people should have!To them greed goes past the lives of all living creatures on his very planet. Including his or her own family!Moscow Mitch Mcconnelloon stayed at his job taking as many bribes as he could to the bitter end.He had forfeited his country and his family! Stroking out on national televison! the draft dodger, Knowning to be close to death yet still asking for more bribe money from Putin ! Making no logical point, what so ever!Just piling up cash for no reason! for he had already burned all his family bridges and had zero friends the same way Trump will end !scrounging for every penny and for what to embarrass himself to stripe himself of all honor and the good pride in ones self ! I sure Bruce woke up one morning and decided to take on more movies roles in his last conginitive year then he ever has throughout his whole career while suffering from advanced dementia. Obviously his wife cares more about money then spending time with him I'm sure she has social media accounts that she's using to make money off his cognitive decline too
You cnt attack it without Jesus being inside yr life the scripture declares Jesus bore our sicknesses and diseases isa53:4-5 and and by his stripes we are healed thts the truth about it and the only way to be restored
