Starring: Harriet Slater, Benjamin Wainwright, Edward Bluemel
Network: MGM+
Synopsis: Belgravia: The Next Chapter picks up in 1871, three decades after the events depicted in the 2020 limited series, which was written by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey, The Gilded Age) and based on his novel of the same name. Developed and written by critically acclaimed playwright and screenwriter Helen Edmundson, the series tells the love story of Frederick Trenchard (Benjamin Wainwright), the third Lord Trenchard, and his new love interest, Clara Dunn (Harriet Slater), who is a newcomer to London society. Unaware that his birth was the product of an affair between his mother Susan (Alice Eve) and the scoundrel John Bellasis (Adam James), a troubled childhood has left Frederick deeply insecure, which challenges his courtship of, and marriage to, Clara.

OH MY GOD!!!! I LOVED THAT SHOW, HAPPY THERE'S ANOTHER SEASON!
Me too!!
Toby Regbo! Makes it a must watch.
Is she gonna cheat and get pregnant too....the cycle repeats.
I watched this. Nice plot but very bad writing. I don’t like Clara’s character at all. The ending part made it look like it was all Fred’s fault but for me Clara played a major part in their marital issues. She doesn’t understand the word no or not yet and she’s annoyingly persistent. She was emotionally cheating w the doctor. They were only married for a month or two but she made it look like she’s suffering for years & years to no end. Fred has his own daddy issues but he’s loyal, responsible, a good provider. Had the doctor not been w Nell by the time Clara went to his flat, they could’ve eloped and that would’ve been a different story. SHE 👏 WAS 👏 CHEATING 👏
I like the first season but I'm surprised there's a second
Yeah, they replaced the entire cast. Not even sure how this is connected to the first show.
@@wkadalie maybe this is the next the generation of the family
Seems like this will be a “different” focus. It may be like an anthology.
@@wkadalieI got a crazy theory. Back in season one, the daughter-in-law got pregnant with that scumbag’s kid. That unhinged guy in the trailer that said that his family betrayed him might be that very son. He probably found out where he came from and now this new season focuses on him!
Well, i wish they didn't replace the entire cast, i think the first one was brilliant! @wkadalie
Ive watched until episode 5. Its just so hard to keep my interest with it. I dunno know why. I really love the first one. But this new one, i keep on skipping. Im lost with this one. Maybe just me but this one is a mehh
Wth... I had heard nothing about this until I saw a random picture online. And I consider myself pretty up to date with this particular genre. I even thought it was fanmade or something at first! Did they do any promo? I can't find much about how many episodes to expect.
Are they burying this? Haven’t seen any promotional stuff
The Gilded Age is better and Downton abbey is the best
I started watching it two days ago and just today, March 30, 2024, I finished watching it and the truth is that I was super enchanted by this miniseries. The truth is that the British have a lot of potential to make series, movies, novels and the entire film industry was enchanted. And it is important to highlight that I am from a country called Nicaragua located in Central America in which what is spoken is Spanish and I do not have much knowledge of English, however I understood every detail and every conversation that the characters had in this series. It is a great shame that it is short and that there is only one season, there should be a second season, this series definitely deserves a second season, I love it.
I have a question...
Is it necessary to watch the 1st season in order to understand the story of this one ( Belgravia : the next chapter)??
Too dark for me, as if you don't get enough darkness from politics, you have to imagine more.
is this about Susan's and Oliver's (John's) son?
Wondering the same thing mmm 🤔 Twins though?
2nd 😊
any bush in dis?
any bush in the first one?💀
