Despite covering installation and upkeep, I'm convinced a gas water heater delivers superior performance. This holds true, especially in areas prone to power outages, where the reliability and efficiency of gas-powered systems shine.

I strongly recommend opting for the gas-powered model. However, it's crucial to be aware that these units are facing impending bans. To safeguard your investment, consider purchasing an additional anode rod and hose. Regularly cleaning out your tank every few years can significantly extend its lifespan. It's not just a purchase; it's a proactive strategy to defy the looming restrictions and ensure the longevity of your water heater.

At 0:52 I have those same speakers that I rarely use on my desk for about 15+ years.

At first I was a little confused by your analogy of referring to the water heaters as old friends, but then when you said providing a place to vent 😅 I get it lolol. Big set up for a banger pun 😂

My gas combi boiler here in the UK uses like 0.5 units a day for heating and hot water in the winter. My previous one lasted 17 years, the flue rusted so we got a new one. They want to phase them out but I'm good for another 15 years or more. Gas all the way! Never again do you hear "Who used all the hot water???" again!
