- A continuation of the theme of how a single type of LEGO brick can create something amazing, unexpected, and beautiful. This build definitely fits that bill.
I'd love to find a great name for this design that does it justice, but the shorthand I can't keep myself from using is 'macaroni sun', and at this point it has stuck.

I priced the bricks out to about $110, but that doesn't include shipping, and to get that many bricks, you'll have to buy from 7 different dealers... I want one too, but that's an expensive art project.

In terms of pure aesthetics, this is probably my favorite yet, would genuinely have this as a decoration in my house if I could afford the bricks

Somehow this built feels extremely natural to those bricks. Almost like it was what they were supposed to do. Beautiful
Omg this Lego design is so cool, and strong. I built it myself and I want to test its strength. So I threw it at my 4 month old baby brothers head while my mom was not looking. The Legos didn't even break it just bounced off. My brother does have a dent in his head through. My mom still thinks he just fell, but my dad suspects it was me. I definitely recommend building this for yourself!

That's a CBS Sunday Morning piece of artwork you have created! (Their logo is a sun, and every episode features that sun in different art styles.)
At first, it made me think of a block of cheese. But then the block emerged into a beautiful sun-like structure.
During the zoom in around 02:00 I was thinking it was going to keep happening until it formed a circle about 8 feet across or something wild.
Then I checked how much was left and knew it wouldn't.

It totally looks like something alien or even godlike compared to original Lego designs
Looks like about 1200 of piece 6310615/48092 "BOW 1/4 4X4X1" ... at $0.29 each (from lego's online store), that makes this build cost around $348.
This video goes SO well with "In The Hall Of The Mountain King"
The part where it spins totally look like an animation, because of the perfect object, rotation, lighting and background. Amazing shot! You can't even see the fishing wire.
