The Stock seat post is comically short so if your over 5’6” you’ll need to install either a 30Omm or 350mm seat post just be sure to allow plenty of clearance above the air shock to avoid damages. Next their choice of peddles is also cheap but thats an easy fix too as is installing a Hi Rise handle bar along with the taller seat post for a more comfortable posture while riding those eighty (80) miles the Dual Batteries afford you. Eunorau has a 210mm Disc /Four (4) piston Hydraulic Brake kit on there accessory page for this Heavy & Powerful EBike because their choice to use the smaller 180mm Discs with only the Two (2) piston caliper set up “WILL FADE(fail)” under extreme down hill runs. Other than this though, the SPECTER ST is one Beautiful Beefy Beast of an EBike. Capable both as a long range commuter (Pavement Queen) and as a Monster of a, “Hunting/fishing” Trail EBike. If you want a special deal & are willing to wait, EUNORAU had some great prices on this during their “Black Friday / Cyber Monday” SALES. I waited Ten (10) long long months for fulfillment of my 25 October order due to the Supply chain & production slow downs these past few years but it was well worth waiting for.
An incredible e bike for an incredible host. I hope you get to keep it. It fits you like a glove. I can just dream of bringing this to RAGBRAI in Iowa next summer, only problem is that someone may want to steal it. Those expensive Reese and Mueller don't do a thing for me, this monster does.
Pedro! i always look forward to seeing you in the comments. i hope you're staying cool in this blistering heat, my friend. and thank you again for the positive energy! it's been a while since i've tested a 1,000 watt mid-drive and man they really are impressive motors. glad you're digging it, Pedro. have a great day and be well!
@@electrifiedreviews Yesterday it got up to 96 degrees and very humid, I went out riding in the middle of the day and even with electric assist, I could only be out riding for about 45 mins and consumed all the H2O I brought with me.
HackHunter! hello again, my friend. i had a feeling you might like this one, but i wasn't sure how you'd take to the step-through frame. :) you're totally right. that downtube is built like a tree trunk, and the secondary tube that runs above it just adds even more reinforcement. a 450 pound payload capacity is pretty unreal for a step through. hope you're well and having a great day, HackHunter. great to see you here as always. :)
Nice bike, but the price is rough, the components are good...Still would rather build out a down hill mountain bike with the Bafang BBSHD, with a 40 amp controller..But, that is not for everyone...Putting the natural cherry wood 1x4's in my tiny house, milled from my cherry trees, looks awesome, smells awesome, the rain has me on a coffee break....The next bike I build will be a 20 inch fat tire step through with a bafang mid drive and BMX handlebars, maybe a hub motor on the front wheel...Been looking for the right frame on Ali Baba and else where....Take care brother...
ayo! what's happnin real eyes. yes, and it gets more expensive if you add the battery upgrades too! a 40 amp controller would be wicked. oh man you're really making these tiny homes from scratch huh? that's groovy. do you have a mill on your property as well? and can i borrow some of your rain? :) i've never seen a mid-drive and front-drive. it actually makes sense though. talk about a billy goat. you could climb Everest. take care as well, my friend and i'm thankful to see you here so often. have a great day and enjoy your serene environment. 😎🙏
Yes , shes costly but i very much Love this whole rig . hard to say i'd change a single thing . maybe larger chain ring ,dropper seat post . i started thinking ebike companies should throw in a car cover ,cause mine ain't moved in weeks =) Excellent review of a great bike man . Sweet tunes ⚡⚡🎵
DROPPER! yes. i was thinking the same thing. i actually thought it had a dropper when i first looked it at, but no. maybe next version? and a car cover is a really good idea. i know they make them aftermarket but you bring up a good point... would be cool if companies offered them as an accessory to fit the exact model. thanks for the kind words, Skeeter McGoo and be well, my friend!
Would have like to seen more actual ride time like some of the others doing ebikes reviews. For example, starting off in PAS and going through the gears and then showing throttle only.,
That bike looks sweet I did stick a 750w mid-drive on a old mountain bike only because I had a 48v battery wot I wasn't using and that bike is so much fun for so little cost 🤣
@@electrifiedreviews I have about 1200 on it. Climbs the hills like a tiger. Had to put new tires and front brakes on. Built a rear platform to hang pannier bags, and hang a rear camera on it. It's performance is amazing. I'm proud of the platform.
Sounds like a street rider pretending to be a mtn trail rider. The grizzly is quick on pavement with the dual hubs no lie. But introduce long steep technical climbs…..heck scrap that….just long steep climbs on dirt or pavement……5 miles in and both ur batteries on that hub drive would be done, the controller and hubs be smoking or probably about to get fried. And if you still dream that ur grizz can out do a mid drive like this…….maybe try putting ur money where ur mouth is and do a match up with somebody. Two different bikes that serves different duties…….But the specter can do anything the griz can do and do it better, more efficiently AND STILL do trails

thanks for the info, Raghknarr!

I love this bike and will buy it thanks
and with second battery for Max range
what's up, SoldierBoy! keep us posted! would love to hear your thoughts once you get it. :)
Now thats a step thru i would actually ride. That down tube is like a tree trunk. Options! This company gets IT.

hi michelle! that's a great tip. thank you kindly and be well! 😎🙏
How would this bike compare to some of the “hunting” bikes out there such as Rambo, Quietkat or the Backou Mule step thru?

Specter S or this?
oof. hard call. the step through is actually pretty sweet. what kind of riding do you plan on doing?

I still think my grizzly with two 1000 bafang hub motors, full suspension etc, is better.
Duchess! great to see you again! sounds like you're loving your dual drive! how many miles do you have on it so far?
